I've never played sticker star but can someone tell me why it's apparently the worst thing ever?

Did everyone just completely forget about xenoblade chronicles X, and yoshis wooly world? I mean since when has X just been a "eh" thing, that, Mario Maker, and yoshi are fine with me.

I'm very surprised that half of everyone here is freaking out over there not being much emphasis on single player, and a lack of voice chat(which I'll admit is a problem), yet when splatoon,and Devils third come out, nobody cares. This is why third party company's don't support the Wii U, more of Nintendos fans need to embrace multiplayer instead of immediately denying it before the game is even out yet.

Kind of true. At my middle school (I'm in 8th grade btw) nobody plays a 3DS, because apparently it isn't "cool" enough. Almost everyone here has an iPhone or something and are addicted to Instagram/(insert generic game that will be replaced in two seconds). Tbh, Nintendo doesn't really seem cool to kid of this generation anymore, because they have the stain that is the Wii, which means they think all of Nintendos games are Mario and Wii sports("kiddy games"). I really think Nintendo should make a popular M rated game for once (I like beyonetta, but it didn't sell well and wasn't advertised like crazy, for example like COD or Destiny), that way, they could have the same respect as Microsoft, and Sony.

For the people voting bayonetta, Smash 4 is rated E ten plus,so it's probably never going to happen.

Now that i'm thinking about this, I wouldn't mind if knuckles was in SSB4.

@davetheshrew What!?Have you even played the sonic games on mobile? They do require skill and tough jumps, heck they're basically like all the other versions with better graphics and stuff, it's not dumbed down like you think it is. But I do agree on the whole controller to the phone thing that's crazy. Nintendo like I said earlier needs a normal system with power, third party and crazy advertising.

I still think Nintendo needs to appeal to kids and teens again though. Like I said earlier, Nintendo had a cool factor until the Wii, which that generation of kids just left sitting there and never used it. Heck even (arguably) sonic beat Mario with the genesis because of his cool factor, and marketing towards kids.

Kinda bummed that Nintendo does all this with Mario, but then games like beyonetta don't sell well.

Screw the game pad, I like it and all, but you have to admit it has little to no use. All I see myself using it for is the internet browser, and wind waker. The NX needs to be a normal console with power, and good third party support (which thank god we've had news that the third party devs like the NX). I would be okay with a GameCube style controller coming back.

I'll buy but since just recently, I played sonic adventure 2 for the first time, and this announcement to me is just meh. I mean if it's good, I'll buy, but I just want a good sonic game again for his 25th anniversary. Aka sonic generations 2, colors 2, lost world 2(without the poor level design of the later half of of lost world 1), another take at classic sonic, or of course adventure 3 since a ton of sonic fans would buy just because of its name.

Well I like sonic, and I like donkey kong so this is a must buy!

@Soren I didn't look up sales, but didn't sonic adventure 1/2 sell well on GameCube?---Also yeah Nintendo needs to make people believe they aren't so kiddy anymore. Like kids in middle school now a days mostly all want to be cool, so they buy Xbox because for them, the Wii was the thing that everyone had, but barely used and the Xbox was the consle for "mature" games like assassins creed and Call of Duty. And now Nintendo has a mark on them that they're only for kids. What I think Nintendo needs to do, is support their third party games much more than they do now, advertise much better, and make a consle with power, that isn't held back by some crazy gimmick.

I hope we can unlock this content that's in the shovel knights amiibo in game.

From the looks of it, it sounds like the Sonic 06 of FPS on Wii U. Could have been good, but full of glitches, and technical issues. I'm still kind of surprised how people still want this game. Oh well, better luck on the NX. Maybe if they release a patch or something to fix all the bugs, ill get it.

U wot m8. Umm if we went back to cartriges and all of that, third party developers I bet wouldn't even try to port games to the NX.

I just want like a sonic adventure1/2 remake (that isn't as glitchy as DX), or a new sonic game altogether that doesn't suck. Something like rush,advance,classic,colors, or generations would be nice. Hopefully sonic boom fire and ice will be like rush or advance

Are you kidding me. I have to wait 9 DAYS to play a 60$ game!? This is B.S. This is the reason why I wasn't so hooked when I got Splatoon on Day 1, because barely anything was unlocked had to wait. Content locking isn't the right way to do this, it's stupid. I want to play the FULL game when it comes out, not a Demo. Infact, i'm starting to see this in some games that have recently came out, like with Smash's tourney mode, and Splatoon. And people are like "Well their trying to get you to learn how to Master the tools that you start out with.", but that's not the right way. Experimentation with all the tools imo, is the best way. Their bassicaly taking a wait/F2P route where their making you wait an entire day to play the game again. Nintendo is basically saying don't buy this day one.

Kind of and not really. Nintendo,all your fans want is a powerful console with no gimmicks, or atleast a console that makes them optional. I liked the Wii and all when I was a kid, but now looking back at it and knowing about the Gamecube, the gamecube console wise, to me seems better, and that had no gimmicks (besides small disks). If they do make gimmicks with the NX just make them not so forced, I mean have you seen what Microsoft tried to do with the Kinect? Not many people wanted it, so they scrapped it, and ever since that, Xbox Ones have been selling, unlike the Wii U. Plus the Wii U has barely any ads on TV that I see besides splatoon e.e. And the idea of it all kinda doesn't work. You have to ignore the TV (the biggest screen in the house, with most of, if not all action happening there) to look down and do something completely small/pointless. The only time I actually used the gamepad for something useful is off-TV play, and in Wind Waker.

Knuckles and knuckles will still probably be better than sonic boom fire and ice.

I will probably never get these because they will be sold out in less than a day. Nintendo better have prepared to restock these.

But everyone wants to play Mother 3 tho. Im pretty sure if you're getting asked about it every E3, and release the FIRST 2 GAMES but don't release one of the best and last, people want it. Plus this doesn't explain why people in America don't get the New 3DS (the one with faceplates).

Im still not sure if I should get this e.e. What if it's like Arkham night, were they make the videos look much better than the actual game? And we already know that this game has frame-rate issues..

@night A lot of those complaints are valid though. Metroid hasn't had a traditional game since like 5 years ago.

As a Wii U owner for only about 2 or 3 years, this is disappointing. Hopefully they at least give a discount on the Nx like they did with the new 3Ds. Oh well. Hopefully the NX has third party support and sells well.

Will probably buy. Too bad Sega hasn't made a classic style sonic game (without the weird physics of Sonic 4 I mean) since the stages in generations.

Is he going to fix the problems with the game tho, or is this going to be like Arkham knight, were one version or part of the game is good, then everything just starts breaking near the end of it? Seriously they need to acknowledge the problems in the game instead of blaming the controls.

Why is everyone freaking out over this game again? I get it Samus isn't in this game, but seriously, a petition to cancel the game (and as far as I know), the only gameplay we saw was blast ball? I haven't played any prime games yet, but am currently playing the NES Metroid game to start with, but many of you don't even seem like you're giving this game a chance, and all because Samus isn't in it. Does her not being playable in the game seriously automatically make the game trash? You guys like sonic fanboys right now who hate anything but classic sonic no matter what. You should at least give the game a chance before saying it sucks.

For everyone saying they should fix the game with an update after its release, games should be done when they come out, not barely functional. Plus remember what happened when Microsoft released Halo like this on Xbox One? It literally took them almost a year to make the game playable.

Here we go with the classic statement of "git good" from a developer who has clearly went through development hell,and won't even admit the flaws of the game. At least Sega admitted that Sonic boom sucked and all of that, but these people don't even seem like they care about the problems. All they need to do Imo is fix the problems with frame rates and graphics, but hearing from this they probably won't. I mean maybe it gets better if you practice like Star fox zero, but otherwise this is coming out to be a fail...

Then how come COD and Splatoon work perfectly fine on the Wii U? Plus why is everyone calling the game bad before it's even come out yet? I mean sure the game graphically looked like a last gen game, but the gameplay looked fun, and it only had some minor bugs as far as I can see.

Just delay it like whoever made smash bros said, a delayed game is better than a broken game that's not ready to be released(or something like that). Also again this is the problem with the Wii U. Not enough power. Which most likely due to gimmicks, which when the NX comes out need to be gone, or optional. Also, how come this game is having problems on the Wii U, yet Black ops 2, and ghost ran perfectly fine on it?

Might buy it if it's cheap
