As someone who has had this avatar since starting NintendoLife, really hoping that Birdo comes as part of a post-launch update.

Finally! Been wanting this for a long time.

Was waiting for a mode like this, excellent!

From what I'm told, Toby was making the game all by himself, up until now. Despite having a team, he still likes to take the brunt of the work, which is a problem, because he severely hurt his wrist and can't get is fixed due to hospitals being full.

Cool, to bad it doesn't explain anything, the P2W wasn't taken out, the coin and energy cap is still there and the grind is still absolute dog water.

Nintendo has everything to do with this game, yeah, they don't fully own Pokemon, but they own enough of it that they can do whatever they want. I mean, if Nintendo had no say in the matter, why continue to keep Pokemon exclusively on Nintendo platforms? (save for spin-offs being on mobile).

While I agree that parents should be more vigilant, I would venture a guess and assume they think their kids are playing "safe" games with Nintendo, since Nintendo is known to be a "kid friendly company" and since the game is Pokemon, which is not only directed for kids, but most adults most likely played it when they were younger and or at least knew about it and the little they knew about it was nothing bad or malicious, so they assume this game is similar to the ones they grew up with. /EDIT

If they put Master Chief in, I would hope they give him DOOM Guy/Slayer alt skin. As for who I want in the game; Sans.

As someone who's played just about every Smash-like game, this one is the best one outside of Smash Bros.. Also, shout-out to Slap City.

3 stars seems a tad to generous.

As a huge fan of Smash Bros., I would be ok with this being the final entry in the series. Sakurai works way to hard on each entry and has to deal with so much toxicity despite giving so much. It will suck to not have any more Smash Bros. games, but it would suck more if Sakurai had to keep this up for the rest of his career (constant work).

So far, Splatoon 2's Octo-expansion and Smash Bros. Fighters pass are the only post released content worth coming back to, if you left at all (IMO). The others have been pretty garbage.

Doesn't look terrible. It would be awesome if they had Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go skins/characters/weapons/cameos though.

Hoping at least the final evolution of Grookey is fake, cause those fan-made evolutions be looking much better.

Thats a load and a half. They couldn't care less about any of their IP's outside of Street Fighter and Monster Hunter.

Yup.

I honestly don't care how powerful console is, so long as I can play and enjoy games. Plus, games like Breath of the Wild, ARMS and Mario Oddesey already look very good, so there's really no need for extra horsepower.

This is just a reskinned Bowser...

I imagine it went something like this;
Sakurai: Walks into Microsoft.
Microsoft: Here's Banjo.

Here's the thing with me, I don't care for game pushing the best graphics ever seen, graphics like this right here, I love and would love to see more of.

This was Nintendo's biggest blunder at E3.

I would love to get that Power Rangers game, but damn thats expensive.

I would not like this in the slightest. For one, it would break Sakurai's rule of "Characters need to originally be from a video game.", which would just open a huge can of worms and (IMO) taint the game. I also don't want the Disney of today to have any say in what goes on in Smash or Nintendo at all.
Sakurai does not need this kind of stress.

Man, I sure do hope they make something more exciting than Pokemon, that franchise is hella stale for me. Though I feel they have been stuck on Pokemon for such a long time, I dunno if they can make an exciting game =/ I wish them much luck.

Uhh, while I am fond of the studio, I would rather not have another BR game, not only because I dislike the genre as a whole, but because we already have WAY to many BR games as it is.

Hey, if this can get us free online without a subscription, I'm all for it. If I remember correctly, PS+ started as a perk, not necessary to play online, but something to get if you wanted deals on the PS Store. Make that the status quo on all console subscriptions.

I heckin miss putting in the disc to play. Which is one of the many reasons I love Nintendo, cause they still do this >_>

Given how many Sonic games there are and how many of them were decent, I am not looking forward to this at all and in fact would rather them stop making games just to let the franchise breath a bit.

For a Triple A dev/publisher to do, I think this is unheard of, especially in the world of games today where devs/publishers are shoe-horning micro-transactions in everything. Major kudos on Nintendo for this.

• Have more freedom instead of being forced into a trainer, who has a rival, to then be the regions champion while stopping an organization from doing stuff. <- Or least do something different with it, like having the choice of joining the organization or be annoying by popping in on your rival at random and inconvenient times.
• Real time combat like that of Pokken.
• Being able to choose ANY Pokemon to be your partner, that isn't an evolution or legendary.
• Build more on the customization of your Poikemon, like a much more in-depth version of what you can do with Furfrou and Pikachu and Eevee in Let's Go.
• More interacting with your Pokemon.

Pokemon gen. "X", to me, is like Madden "XXXX". It just more of the same.

Well, there's more to do in this game then there is in Animal Crossing or Mario...plus dragon waifus.
