Oh yeah, this game is a thing.

TL:DR - As in I didn't read it, not summarizing it.

I haven't bought cards of any kind in a looooong time. Maybe its because its basically IRL loot boxes, Pokemon is the most convoluted of the card games, other card games doing a better job, or (to my knowledge) most card games are digital. With digital card games, it's easier to collect cards, if only because the convenience of getting cards. you don't to worry about your card being lost, stolen or damaged and the game keeps track of everything thats happened in the game (like life points, when you can use certain cards etc...)
Not to mention Pokemon's card game is kinda similar to the Pokemon games (I say as I haven't played a card game in eons outside of a very tiny amount of Magic and Hearthstone) and since you can do more in the game, why would anyone choose the card game (outside of just being a collector)?

How many 2D side scrolling Mario games are there? Or mainline Pokemon games (cause they are all the same)? Thats not even touching the Online Service, yuck.

However, when Nintendo does make something new, it is quite enjoyable and unique, like ARMS or Splatoon. That being said, can we get a Hero Shooter?

Glad to hear it sold decently enough (despite me not buying it), though I would imagine the sales would be hitting much closer to World if it was a new game, instead of an enhanced 3DS game.
Wasn't there a rumor a while ago saying that Capcom was making an exclusive MH game for the Switch (that wasn't Gen. Ultimate)?

As for the question at the end of the article:
I would rather have a new MH game than have a port of World for the Switch.

@westman98 True, but from what I've seen, Pokemon sales have been on a decline since Red and Blue.

Again, I cannot find anything that supports what you are saying about Sun and Moon.

Aww, thought the Mario outfit was exclusive for those who played the Open Test...it also sucks that I won't be able to get the Luigi skin due to the event being limited to online and I refuse to get that service until it gives me something substantial.

All those Mii costume DLCS were the ones I disliked most in Smash 4. If they are included with the Season Pass, cool, if not, I won't be buying.

Like I mentioned in my reply to Klunk23, I only found that X and Y was the fastest selling Pokemon game.

Don't jynx it now, given how so many Triple A companies are fighting to be the worst currently. I don't want that for Nintendo >_> Noted and I'm saying its impossible for Pokemon to outsell Smash, just in my biased, burnt out opinion, it shouldn't unless it completely changes the formula.

I would assume its because they would like to see how many people would buy it. If they port it just so like 50k copies get sold, wouldn't that be a loss on their part?
Note: I'm not big on fighting games, much less 3D fighters like Tekken or Soul Cal (though I have an interest in Pokken), so I wouldn't care much if we got Tekken on the Switch.

I dunno, maybe. If they "Mario Odyssey" or "Breath of the Wild" it, I can more easily see it, but if they keep it as they have been for the past decade, I can't.

The only fast selling Pokemon game I found was X and Y selling 4 million copies in two days.
But like I said previously, Pokemon COULD outsell Smash, I'm just biased in favor of Smash, plus I have been feeling incredibly burned out with Pokemon, since they are all virtually the same (outside of the spin-offs like Pokken).

Oh hey, there's a name I haven't heard in a while. Lightseekers was/is a game for your phone that was about toys-to-life, now they are doing cards, neat.

Hope they ain't banking on the new Pokemon, Yoshi or Fire Emblem selling like Smash...cause I get the feeling they won't.

The kid is happy to be represented in the game...and the reason he's suing is NOT for money? I fail to see why he's suing then.
Also since this seems to be a trend, Epic should start looking into the matter before adding anything else someone might claim as their own and sue for.

Hmmmm I dunno. The real life action Pokemon movie was shakey for me when I first saw it, but grew on me. Maybe with more time and actual footage, this will do the same. With just a picture though, its not looking great, at least proportion wise.

Good to know they both agree that Simon and Richer are Top/S tier.

I mean, the head looks alright, its just everything else doesn't match up.

As someone who played the Alpha of this game, Yeaaaaah buddy!

I wasn't particularly excited for the announcement, only because I haven't played Persona, so I don't have that connection to the character. However, this announcement was very unexpected and I'm a huge fan of surprises.
Note; Me not being excited for a character or announcement doesn't mean I don't like and or don't appreciate it.

With Smash coming out in two days, what could they possibly tell us? The first DLC character? I feel thats WAY to soon. I'm gonna lean towards more info on that Metroid game or maybe a new IP.

After seeing a Let's Play of this game, there's no way I would play it, not because it's scary, but because it's not. It also overall looked incredibly boring.

I tend to listen to both sides, though I decided pretty early on that I won't be getting this game. If only because Pokemon in general, just hasn't been doing it for me, outside of Pokken.

I do not know what they could be making, Wonderful 101 sequel or not, but I am excited regardless!

Daaaang, say what you want about Fortnite, but it pumps out a lot of content and pretty interesting ones at that, all for free, while being free to play.

Not bad for a "Pokemon" type game. Looks more interesting than Pokemon now-a-days IMO >_>

Been playing me some deltarune. New game made by Toby Fox, guy who created Undertale, though not complete yet, its free and really good IMO, like I have as much hype for this game as I do for Smash Bros.
