Indie publisher Digerati and developer Caiysware have announced that Skelly Selest is headed to Nintendo Switch later this month.
The game has you taking on procedurally-generated gauntlets of hellspawn and bosses, all in the name of defeating the horrors that lurk in the depths of Hell. There's a focus on highscore chasing here, with players taking on relentless waves of enemies, but there's plenty more to get stuck into as well.
We have quick blurb and feature list for you below.
Prophecy foretells that one day Hell shall runneth over and the evil dead will spill onto thy Earth. Only the Selestial Order can halt the depraved Hellion tide. Skelly Selest is a score-attack slash dash run ‘n’ gun-athon that places players in the skeletal shoes of a Heavenly Keeper.
Key features
- Fight furious battles across several modes, including a roguelite dungeon crawler, endless arena, Boss Rush, challenging Penitence Trials, and even a strategic collectable card game
- Visit the Bone Plains, Flesh Gardens, and other charming locations across a vibrant pixel-art hellscape Make acquaintances with monstrous enemies and bosses
- Wield blessed items, weapons, and armor to survive
- Rescue a variety of unlockable character classes and spiffy hats
Skelly Selest will launch on Switch on 24th May, so make sure to keep an eye out in the coming weeks if you're interested.

Cool looking. Add that to the ever-growing games I want that i can't afford
Just to preempt the inevitable comments:
No, I do not have pixel art fatigue!
I’ve played some of this developer’s games on Steam. This might be one of his more conventional ones. Some of his games are further “out there”, with psychedelic visuals and intentional misspellings.
We have to many pixel games as it is, I don't need another.
I like the music, but that's about it... pass.
For the low price, and replayability, Im in. Good looking pixels too. Thats becoming very rare these days.
@Fake-E-Lee very true. I think it's like 10 but still it's cheap. Problem is I haven't even cracked seal on yoshi yet and i had it since launch. Trying to finish cuphead and Celeste first. Then you have resident evil origins plus 4. Shakedown Hawaii and.......... castlevania collection. Which I want all 5 before playing this! Funny when people say there's no games on switch . As of late, the nay sayers are back in hiding 😅
@Fake-E-Lee Four... hundred... and... fifty...... ??????? That's jaw-dropping.
@Fake-E-Lee man 450.... that is wild! I crossed 200 games last week and I thought that was insane, haha.
Too retro. I'll pass.
Skelly Selest healed my skelly depression.
I’m currently at 258 games on my switch.
Never heard of this before, but it looks like it could be my kind of game.
Well at least the pixel graphics look neat, may give it buy someday.
