I haven't cared for Minecraft since its launch, but Dungeons could be interesting.

Well, for me, I have enjoyed each and every Smash Bros. games dating back to the 64. Each game was better then the last, adding just so much more content, seeing how Ultimate will have EVERYONE, have the most stages, music, everything, it's real easy for me to put it up on a pedestal, despite my not playing it yet.

Brand trust is another reason. CD Project Red, for example, has been amazing with giving us huge, full, complete, enjoyable, and some free content. CyberPunk 2077 hype!

Another factor for Smash is because ever since the 64, my mind was blown away when I first played it. Seeing all these characters from different games not only come together in one, but fight, which is something they did not do in their respected games, was just so amazing!

As for me diving back into games like BoTW and Mario Odyssey, I dunno. After beating BoTW, I noticed how lackluster it was and was disappointed in how the "story" played out, so that game has left a sour taste in my mouth.
I might go back to Mario O. one day, but like every game, once I beat the story, I give that game a huge break, if I go back at all, since all there is left to do in collect stuff.
I did go back for Splatoon 2 though...before the online service kicked in.

That what happens when you make a good, story driven, full game, with no mirco-transactions. You get results.

Lies! If Sega was actually listening, we would have Phantasy Star in the West, a sequel to Jet Set Radio, more games that are NOT Sonic and for those Sonic games, they would have been actually good and or decent.

And Nintendo wants you to pay $60 (on top of $20 for the online service) for NES controllers that only work for those NES games. Ha ha ha.

That's neat, I suppose, but it still doesn't make me want the game.

Another pixel platformer? Cause we don't have enough of those already, right?

I think that episode is banned in the West, but I do know of that episode, he looked pretty good. To bad that was the only time Pokemon did something like that, maybe there's a connection here as to why Nintendo has been shafting Birdo...

Haven't payed that RPG, but you said it was made by Square, even if Nintendo approved, if there were to be a backlash, it wouldn't fall hard on Nintendo.

I'm ok with this. Then again, I was ok with the roster when Ridley was the only newcomer. The fact Sakurai is saying"slow-down" and not "stop" in really surprising, like just how much more is he (and team) giving us?! Not complaining though~

I'm opposed to the app, but would be indifferent to it if it was an option and I don't mean an option to Discord or Skype, but to native voice chat. This way everyone gets what they want.

From what I've seen, the game doesn't even have Birdo in it, so it's not even worth $60 let alone 7k+.

So we could have had actual content instead of a giant world with virtually nothing in it? Glad to have paid full price to beta test this, before being asked to pay full price again for the full release!

You know what, get Bowette in Smash Bros, alternate skin, Echo or full blown character.
Also, now I want to see everyone Nintendo related with this crown...mostly Birdo though.

Agreed with the article and have said before, as well as it's other faults, that Nintendo's take on Cloud save data is sub-par compared to the competition, which supports it on all their games.

The voice-chat is to blame? So if the console had built in voice-chat, they wouldn't be using Google servers for it, right? Seems like an easy fix.

I don't know much about the Family plan for Nintendo's service, but if one person has Plus or Gold, everyone on that console gets it free.

Well this is a Nintendo fan site, it's to be expected that the people running it will always be in Nintendo's favor, doesn't mean you pipe down with your criticism though. I'm criticizing the service so the people who visit here knows there another side and or, the article they read is wrong.

Maybe, Xbox already tried being worse before it released the X-box One, boy did that go poorly and is a reason why the X-box is the least selling console of this gen. However, the Gold service from 360 to One did get better, as you were just paying to play games online, where as you get free games a month, daily/weekly deals on the store and I think that cloud service, I'm not sure if cloud was always there, maybe it was added towards the end of the 360, I can't remember, but the service got better. The service will only get worse, if we the costumers, allow it.

This seems pretty biased in favor of the service, but thats to be expected and I'm ok with that, however, saying the service "doesn't really offer anything less" when compared to X-box and PlayStaion's service, is a lie.

The others tend to have Triple A games, even to the point of releasing not that long ago. Where as NES games are decades old, have been bought multiple times with the Wii, Wii U and NES Classic and emulated to be on Phones, PC's and even PsP's, plus you apparently get locked out if you don't connect to the internet within 7 days.

" Cloud saves"
That doesn't work on every game and gets deleted the moment your sub ends, while Xbox and PS works on every game. PS gives you 6 month period to re-sub before dumping data and Xbox offers the service even if you don't have Gold.

" Smartphone app"
I think this should be changed to "voice-chat" (Which the other consoles do) IMO and we have already have Discord, Skype and TeamSpeak.

" Exclusive deals"
The privilege to buy controllers and an in-game t-shirt for Splatoon 2. Xbox and PS have Steam sales on their stores.

Aye, but those are opinions. Objectively, the service, as it is, is bad. Not trying to say "I'm right and you're wrong, deal with it", it's just when compared to the competition, it offers nothing of substance, not even the basics like messaging or voice-chat, which apparently the Wii U had(?).
Note: I only ever use voice-chat while in parties, but still want the option to have it in games.
And thanks for not "coming at me" like how people tend to do when its X vs. X and we aren't on the same side.

I feel the opposite, in terms of one being able to do more. Undyne has a weapon (one we have never seen in Smash before) while Sans would be like Ness or Mewtwo, being psychic.

They could do that (talking about his HP), but I feel since Undertale was to specific with his health, he would be walking wound with %999, since it would be true to his game, which Sakurai and team have done oh so well with everything they put into Smash.
Its because he's lazy, that I feel he wouldn't want to even partake in Smash, I mean, he only fights you once because his hand was forced. What would be his reasoning for fighting in Smash, for fun? Undyne would LOVE to fight for fun, Sans would not (IMO).
Smash also has that mechanic you mentioned, where moves get weaker the more you use them.

She maybe all spears, but I can most definitely see her throwing kicks, punches and have a good grab game. Sans would be stuck as a ranged fighter with Gaster Blasters and psychic stuff. I'd also much rather have Undyne than Bandana Dee o3o
But hey we ain't going to convince the other that X is better for Smash Especially since it's very unlikely either will get in, even as assist trophies, though it is fun to discuss~

hmm...I can't fully see her being an Echo of Yoshi though. For one, she can't flutter kick, I can't see her using her head as an attack, I'm pretty sure her mouth only spits so I don't think it could be used as a grab or egg lay, pretty sure she also can't use egg roll or Yoshi Bomb.
I don't really see the similarities between the two outside of being dinosaurs that attack with eggs...but hey, if Sakurai can make it work, I'll take it if it means Birdo gets in.

I hope he and others like him, get that chance to play Smash Ultimate before their time.
