Starting today, Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is available to stream on Netflix, offering up a new and original story for fans of Capcom's horror game series.
Split across four episodes, the show takes place after the events of Resident Evil 4. It follows RE4's protagonist, Leon S. Kennedy, as he encounters a new zombie threat at the White House; Claire Redfield also appears, with the two characters' paths crossing after investigating "two seemingly separate incidents".
A new clip for the show has appeared on YouTube if you'd like to get a sneak peek of its CG action:
"After the power suddenly goes out and mysterious zombies roam the halls, rookie agent Patrick finds himself in a desperate situation — until Leon saves him in the nick of time"
All four episodes, lasting around 25-30 minutes each, are available to stream on Netflix right now. Will you be giving it a watch?

I will be watching
4 episodes of 25-30 minutes? That's not a series: it's a movie
I wasn't going to watch if it was a big commitment...but that's a short series!
Would rather watch something short and well animated though, bad acting can last forever
Not much action but it’s worth a watch
It's actually set only 2 years after Resident Evil 4, you might want to correct the article. RE4 - set in Autumn 2004, REID set sometime in 2006
Leon looks like Billy Crudup in the thumbnail.
In any case, I'll give it a watch. I love how crazy and convoluted the RE timeline has become at this point.
Only four 30 minute episodes? That's an easy time investment, so I'll check it out.
Thanks for the heads-up, might watch it later while having lunch.
Leon and Claire actually look kinda perfect in that art style. This probably won’t be very good but I might give it a go.
I will definitely watch this when I come home from work this evening
Disappointed to here it's only 4 episodes of 25-30 minutes....
Why is this a series and not just a movie?
Since it's a "series" I wanted it to be longer than a movie.
Regardless I will watch it and I'm sure I'll enjoy it, I've enjoy all the previous animated movies.
@Savino Now that you mention that, I had never thought of Castlevania. Testing the waters would make sense. Hopefully it's good enough and popular enough to give Capcom incentive to continue it.
I tried watching for about 10 minutes and personally I wasn't a fan of animation or voice acting, so I think I'll pass on this.
The animation, compared to RE VII is... well... not very good. At times I feel like I am watching a playthrough of REmake. It's odd. Sure, the areas look good, but the characters are just... not very good. Oh well...
Watched the first episode was done with it. Not very interesting and it has ps2 era grqphics for some reason. Was just awkward looking.
