Mmm...instead of this how about actual game soundtracks? I would love to add those to my CD shelf 😑
Can we not just release the soundtracks on vinyl? I’d kill for a box set of HeartGold or Platinum’s OST.
I think it's nice that the Pokémon company has finally started trying to appeal to people that have no interest in games.
I am thankful tha th is in Spotify.
All I've been listening to lately is Vince Staples' self-titled album so this is a really welcome, if a bit odd, surprise for me
Vince Staples? I'm in
Is it pay-to-play?
Between this, Pokémon Unite and that Katy Perry song I am so confused by The Pokémon Company this year...
Gotta skip em all!
Terrible... if someone just played this for me I would never guess it was related to pokemon in any way.
Not only that, it all sounds super generic..
@arenred Was it not just digital and CD releases of the Super Music Collections? As far as I’m aware, they haven’t done an official pressing on vinyl yet.
I'm willing to defend SwSh and even I think the budget of this Post Malone crap should go to the actual games.
EP: Electric *****, right?
@arenred There’s just been such a great push for soundtracks on vinyl recently that I wish Nintendo would get on board with. Although personally I’d prefer Nintendo to just sell the licenses to Mondo or someone similar as their releases are very very pretty.
@arenred those are some pretty hot takes. Digital is not better than analog, it's just different.

I'd like the Animal Crossing collection to release digitally somewhere. Even if I could buy it on import, I don't have anything to rip the CDs!
@arenred : My argument would be that the music has been mastered digitally to begin with, so there is absolutely no need for a vinyl release except for the sheer novelty of the format.
People who really want a vinyl release should just buy the CDs and get them converted themselves as any official vinyl pressing would mere be a conversion of the same digital assets (with audio CDs being lossless and all).
Honestly, what is this trash?
As corny as the OSTs were for the Warner Bros. era movies and the "Karaokémon"/Jukebox tracks from the first three seasons of the US dub, they are miles ahead of whatever the hell this is.
And I don't care what anybody says, my girls from M2M still hold up 20+ years on.
More Kanto call backs.
I though they at least do some Johto by now.
I had to deal with this all through Gen 6 to 8.
Maybe they think a Johto remake would be broken due to how they built fairy-type.
Fairy-type may destroy the Gen 4 Remakes, if proper adjustments aren't made.
Thankfully, Dialga is half steel-type.
I hope they didn't just change the Graphics. Granted better Graphics is a positive, but remakes should always focus on integrating the best of newer mechanics, into the experience.
So far Gen 8 were nothing but attempts to get more Pokemon Go players to the core games, and get more players of the core games to play Pokemon Go. If you want all 898 Pokemon, go buy a cell phone, because your Switch isn't powerful enough to handle it.
Dynamaxing only makes sense as simulated "Boss Fights", it is trash with-in PvP or PvNPC.
I don't understand if they change they stats of several Pokemon in Gen 5, how you now can legally transfer & battle without breeding it. Except for legendary, all other Pokémon should be from Gen 5 & above to legally battle with them.
The next time you see “Grammy nominated/winner” as an endorsement, remember...
Pitbull and Cardi B are Grammy winners.
I wish they would release Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire GBA version on eShop. If only they put virtual console on the Switch, they would probably be on it by now.
@Noid I feel the exact same way
