Any info on what the top ten best selling games for the system are there? Be interesting to see some Chinese developed games that we don't know about in the West.
Said it before elsewhere here but I'd be very happy with a switch lite form that can plug into a tv. Maybe a little slicker hardware, like the SP was to the GBA, a little more "adult". Could be fun.
O/w I've enough to be working through game-wise this year.
Enjoyable piece. No mention of one of my faves and the reason I went and bought a Flip Grip (nice kit by the way): Moon Cresta!
Old school for sure but I have fond memories of discovering the arcade machine on holiday one year and spent as much time with it as I did on the beach
It's the same script every time isn't it? Must of read variations on that reply a dozen times down the years.
Me? I'm not particularly hungry for a new gen Switch just yet. I was gladdened to hear they feel it's half way through the cycle. Plenty of great games to come, not too mention the giant back log I'm accumulating.
Lots to dig into here. Sperlunky for me. Overall, I enjoyed the diversity of the art styles in gaming. Also enjoyable to see creators from all around the world getting to tell their stories too.
I’ve said it before and I will say it again, give me a light with a cable that goes into the tv and I would be very happy. Joycon can be bought if wished.
Happy to see The Touryst get a mention. A fantastic game. I think of it as a Digital Toy (much like Short Hike as mentioned). I haven’t quite completed it, so I may have to play through again. By this point, I’ve played the “break out” clone available in the little arcade in the game. Well worth your time!
Take your time. Gives me an excuse to go back to the originals and complete it this time. I got stuck, distracted and moved on but loved the experience. Great atmosphere, which for me is key to these kinds of games, the controls were super tight too.
Played this during a two week quarantine. It is short but it’s also very sweet and fun, relaxing and mildly challenging. I thought of it more as a digital toy with gaming elements. It reminded me a little of Touryst, with small side games you can go back to and play as standalone entertainment. Happy to see it’s been a commercial success.
@DrDaisy sometimes I get like this with gaming. It’s been a hobby of mine for decades but every now and then I take extended breaks. Something eventually comes along and lights the passion again.
I’ll wait for the review on Best Friends, but a virtual pet would be a cool. Moon, I need to go back and read about it, it was on my list for while - just don’t remember why
The first one still gets regular play from me. I must have bought tetris about 5 times down the years. I don’t see a compelling reason to buy the sequel.
I’d love to be able to TATE mode Tetris and play with the pro.

Re: Video: We "Opened" An Original Nintendo Game Boy From 1989
ah. Keep on trusting though! Maybe you could get this modded up all crazy.
I do have an original 89 GB and the box, mine was played to death but STILL works, amazing hardware.
Re: Rumour: Stealth Hit République Could Be Sneaking To Switch
Stealth is a genre I've yet to really dip into. Which is odd, as I love sneaking about in games like BotW or Crysis.
I'll keep on eye on this but I wondering what the top Stealth games are for Switch?
Re: IO Interactive Reconfirms Hitman 3 Will Launch On Switch Alongside Other Versions
@Kimyonaakuma just make sure when you get the barcode tat, it doesn't scan as a tin of beans

I wonder if we will ever seen some new DLC for Mario Kart? I'd happily plunk down $20 for a bunch of new tracks.

@AbejaGrande yes this is true and wholly reprehensible. Should his work be shunned as a result? Absolutely not.

@Kimyonaakuma I agree. Although I do like a nice wiper. They could have given away something a bit more eco like a branded seed packet or similar.
Re: Review: Peaky Blinders: Mastermind - An Addictive, Time-Bending Puzzler, Once It Gets Going
@jimtendog well, at least we know it’s reviewed just on its game play merits? Maybe? I love the show personally, so this is on the list.
Re: Random: 89-Year-Old Animal Crossing Grandma Is Back With Her New Horizons Island Tour
So awesome. With older people I notice they lose that need to “perform” for others or cameras. They just be themselves. It’s cool.
Re: Retro Studios Reminds Us It's In Need Of A Lead Producer For Metroid Prime 4
Surely they had this key role filled before? I wonder what Ha

@echoplex quite. I thought that was an interesting insight in gamer’s minds too. Look at FIFA and CoD etc too.
