@The-Chosen-one there’s truth in what you say. However , for me with a broken OG , I’d get a lite but I’m now holding off to see if these rumors will intensify .

@Samwise7 Same. I bought my OG on day one, and sadly this month it just died. This has NEVER happened to any of my handhelds before, previous devices were treated to global travel and general youthful abandon. So, yeah, bring a new one on. That said, I've been using my kid's Lite and I love that form factor, so maybe I'll just get one of those and be happy enough...

@sixrings ha ha / well for me R2 was played during a very formative fun time as an arcade in a pub I loved , so yeah I’m emotionally invested BOTW2 I’m pretty hyped for that one too

I like the look of this, it looks a bit more chill than Civ etc. I couldn't help think , "Do I really care how the robots feel about their new home?" Does that make sense. It's a game and we all suspend our belief when playing games but that's easier when the characters are cute like AC.

No Joke: I loved the arcade and it was the only arcade game in my gaming history that I ever completed, on holiday in Greece as a kid. So I have very fond memories of this. Then I saw it on the eShop, bought a flip grip and had a fun time.

I would love this to be true but I'm not going to get too excited to avoid disappointment. As April Foos jokes go, it's not very funny...

I thought the Arcade Paradise trailer was fun. I'd be up for the game too as long as the games are decent clones of favorites.

An amazing bit of software, a cultural phenomenon, up there with Pac-Man, Space Invaders and Mario. I played it solidly but hardly touch it now, which is fine. It served its purpose to delight and distract me during a very rough year. Younger member of my household - it's a daily driver, with much excitement about the Sanrio characters. Anyway, Happy Birthday ACNH!

Fantastic story! Oddly my Switch has almost the exact same crack and chunk missing....a drop from 2ft.

Glad I have mine. I paid (stupidly) over the odds for it but it gets a play now and then, and the well considered packaging adds to my modest collection.

Still haven't gotten close to gathering the games I'm interested in, let alone completing the ones I have. Great system. Maybe the best.

I didn't realize that 1943 came free! I bought one pack JUST for that game lol. It's a nice front end though, the arcade vibe is cool. I just wish there as a mode (and I'm also looking at you Tetris) to just place these games in full screen TATE mode - be nice with the flip grip. Maybe it's in the setting somewhere but I haven't found it...

@Clyde_Radcliffe I thought you were joking - nope! It's getting good grades on metacritic - I loved the book as a kid. A great starting off point.

Good games trailer. Different to anything seen before and game play footage included too. I like DB, seen him live twice and it was astounding.

@Averagewriter Agree. My one wish for an "New Switch" would be Lite body, perhaps a better, slightly bigger screen BUT it can link to the TV via a cable.

Cool. I personally would prefer Raiden II. There used to be an arcade cabinet of it where I used to work. It became highly competitive amongst some of the staff, the Hi Score table being a large focus. Is it a better game than this one? Who knows but it made me think how nostalgia and memory play such an important role in my gaming life.

I'll look forward to a review of this and will keep fingers crossed for seeing RII at some point.

@Lord certainly appeals to kids but I'm in my 40s and love the series. I started when I was younger and stuck with it, like so many of the good Nintendo properties. I mean, running about as a cartoon plumber in a cartoon cart is (arguably) childish but I love it

I'm not sure about the art style. Loved Short Hike but this seems a little uninspiring. Will look out for a review though.
