The update brings a couple of welcome control adjustments, as well as a fix to that pesky bug which affected anyone with a special character in their username. You can see the full patch notes for yourself below.

I can't wait to play this on Switch. There's just something about a good fps on a portable device that I can't resist 😊😊😊
I'm more and more tempted to pick this up. The wait for DOOM Eternal is getting ridiculous at this point,and I want an FPS to get stuck into. Borderlands and Bioshock are an option too but not at their current prices
@PlayedNSlayed I would suggest Bioshock. The first 2 games are masterpieces. The third one is meh. But you’ll get so much enjoyment from those first two
Thank you! Picked this up day 1, and put it back down because the gyro sensitivity was so low. Time to pick it back up...after finishing DOOM again.
@PlayedNSlayed Assuming you haven't finished them / played them on other consoles, just finished Wolfenstein 2 and Youngblood (in co-op). Can recommend both, though the gunplay in DOOM is the best of the three.
Just waiting for the NL review before I, ahem, pull the trigger on this one.
@KIRO You mean this one?

@KIRO I recall that they did review it not long ago, gave it an 8, I think NL sure were impressed!
@AlexOlney Ahh, so I didn't dream it!
Oh for flip’s sake! How did I miss this? Righto. Off to the e shop I go...
Keep improving it, Saber! Well done.
Glad to see it getting some attention to help with gameplay/errors after release...
@PlayedNSlayed If you're looking for an FPS that's all action like DOOM, then I recommend Bulletstorm. I haven't tried it on Switch but played through it on PS4 and it was a good silly fun shooter.
Awesome. Buying this after work today.
Thank you for letting us adjust the gyro aim sensitivity. Time to get back on this game. I enjoyed what I played so far, just the gyro aiming was so slow. No other complaints besides that.
@PlayedNSlayed, The Switch version plays pretty well. Graphically, it looks decent and plays buttery smooth as well. Next time it's on sale, you should get it, one of the best value titles on the eShop right now.
@BionicDodo, I have BioShock on the Switch and it's pretty damn good. I've been playing Infinite and it has been a blast to play again.
I am a Borderlands fan, but I haven't gotten around to getting it on the Switch yet. Heard it's great, but Crysis and Borderlands are worlds apart in the shooter category.
Bioshock Infinite and Bulletstorm are probably the 2 best FPS on Switch followed by this & Doom
I hope the gyro invert doesn’t also invert the right analogue stick. There have been so many developers lately that patch in gyro aim without understanding how to do it right.
@PlayedNSlayed I had forgotten all about Eternal on Switch. Kind of insane how it was originally announced to be coming the same day as the other versions, and here we are 5 months later with no news on it.
Oke will buy this later today, there hasnt been any negative comment so far, nice!
Was on the fence as I've played the original on PC and even the PS3 version, which I assume the Switch one is based off but prettier. Will get it soon as I clear a few more games.
Awesome! If they now either patch in a physical release or a decent price drop / sale, I'll gladly slam the table and shout out "SOLD".
I really wish they'd bring in multiplayer
I've been having a blast playing Crysis on my Switch Lite. It's a pretty challenging game and I love the freedom of the wide open levels.
I'll wait for a sale but looking forward to it trying it someday.
Yes Witcher 3.6 update like. Glad they are trying to make it better....
Ah, some wanted to be able to do just that with the gyro (sensitivity and inversion) so good update there.
Will download the eventually
This is nice. I was thinking I’d like the gyro sensitive turned up a little. Another bonus point to Sabre Interactive!
Sabre Interactive and Feral Interactive (Grid Autosport and Alien Isolation both great ports) have this porting business nailed. I heart them very much!
@BulkSlash amen. Gunslinger!!!
@PlayedNSlayed
Just get BIOSHOCK: INFINITE. It's a perfect summer game and the story is very relevant right now.
Gyro aiming was my only complaint with this game. Yay! Time to jump back into it!
@dewokkel 1 is a masterpiece, but I'd argue Infinite is better or at least more interesting than 2, which is too much of the same as 1 but nothing of what made 1 a masterpiece.
Very cool that they addressed complaints about the gyro. I get the feeling that this will be yet another game to get a physical release down the road, though.
Having played the OG crysis, I can't say I'm impressed, the graphics just aren't up to spec, even on the switch. It's still a good game, but they need to fix the graphical issues.
Hmmm is something wrong with my switch? Fps drops in Crysis for me are very frequent and feels like it drops to 15 fps if there's some heavy action... I just can't play this.
@AlexOlney Hello Alex! Haven't seen you here for a long time!
@raven89 You should probably talk to some customer service, this should not be happening at all, loving mine so far
@progx If you haven't gotten borderlands yet, please do! It is almost completely up to snuff with the PS4 and Xbox One versions and it a good game to show off to your ignorant friends
@PlayedNSlayed I gotta say, 20 dollars each for the bioshock games is not bad. They are still worth their prices today.
@batata I plan on it at some point. Playing Borderlands in portable mode would be perfect. Especially the second one
@progx It is also worth giving the Bioshock collection a try, it looks good on Switch and to be honest, the games are quality.
@batata I bought that one on the first day. It plays very well and love having it, especially when I can travel again.
@progx Great!
