I pegged KK Slider as having a voice more like iggy pop

I played this first on the spectrum or commodore, I forget. I do remember this being the first game to actually hypnotize me. Like dreaming of it and it taking over my imagination. An odd atmosphere but a good game. I may give this a miss though.

Don’t know her work but I can see why successful musicians would love the Switch in particular. So much time just hanging about in hotels, airports, recording studios. It’s also a nice “leave me alone” defense too. 300 is pretty hardcore, so respect!

@DarthFoxMcCloud Good point. Being able to do this will be an important part of the game for me too.

Looking forward to this. I’m very torn between physical and digital. Heart says physical, mind says digital. Or maybe the other way round. I also thought it has just too much stuff going on, but I suppose figuring it out will be fun.

The game looks gorgeous though. So much detail and polish.

I’ll be buying two of these physically. I wish I could just download them to my Switch to enjoy the instant access of digital though. Like you can when you buy vinyl or books. Best of both worlds innit?

The switch lite would be near perfect if it had an hdmi out. I can’t be the only one who thinks this?

@Bunkerneath me too. I’ve liked their merch and design so much, I’m sure they could bring out a special edition. Ay was throw in those cool socks they would get cold hard cash thrown at their beaks!

@Heavyarms55 I can see why someone would say this but honestly, after playing with my kids one, I just want it. BUT it Hs to be able to go into the tv! The whole point! But as a handheld it’s way superior imho.

I’d have the kk one for sure. Been out and about in nyc to see what goodies can be had. To date: Nintendo world store, assistant said they weren’t doing anything. GameStop Brooklyn, mo goodies but there is a chance of getting the game a little earlier if preordered. Target, often has stuff but I haven’t checked that out yet. That place is a bit of a mess so I’m not sure I want to trust my day one order with them. Best Buy, need to check too.

@oh_no_melon For sure! Way more creative and interesting! I’d imagine the ad company had a brief that mandated emphasis on “real human emotion” etc....sometimes, bad ads aren’t the agency fault but a restrictive brief.

You should definitely get into the ad game though, I’d totally watch the ad you described!

Ads sometimes just need to leave a broad impression. This one aimed at moms and families is, “this is safe fun family play together time”. It’s not CoD or whatever weirdness is going on with the expensive set up in the older brother’s room.

Is it asinine and uncreative? Yes. Does it leave an impression that it’s is a game anyone can p,ay and is fun, cute? Yes. Job done for this particularly group.

For the rest of us, we know the score....this game will be a super fun, relaxing, escapist time sink. I played this as a single young bloke and had a blast and now I will play it with my youngster as a dad. Can’t wait!

Bit head spinning. I have an og, the little one a lite. We are both hyped for this game. I’m prepared to buy two games but for me, like a few of the posters here, I want to leave letters and play around adding stuff to my kids land etc...if I can do that , then all good.

Meh. I always have trouble getting things like this to look right when applying. I just want the game. And the keychain. And the kk amibo. And Brewster plush and oh...dammit....just take all my money already,..

Looks good but the black moody switch looks incongruent. A white one would look totally boss!

I for one will find it tricky to go back to the old ways. I love playing on TV then “switching” when I want to travel, lounge on the sofa. It’s genius really. Yeah, I’m sure cloud streaming across devices a la Strada would scratch the same itch but I like a bit of hardware - and Nintendo hardware at that!

Sound design is decent but I’m not sold on the look. Not much charm. It’s all down to gameplay though, I’ll look forward to the review.

Incredible numbers all round. Add the mobile stuff and it’s truly impressive.

DOOM is fun for sure but is a bit one dimensional (a hell dimension but even still). I like it for a quick 20 min session.

AC on the other hand will dominate my LIFE. Ugh. I submit to it. Bring it on!

Nice enough. However I’ll be spending something like $150 on two copies of game already which is more than enough already. Hopefully GameStop US will have something for preorders to sweeten the deal.

@Onion not sure of your TV set up but if you can, tip the thing on its side, it’s a blast! I have a fairly small Samsung monitor so not a big deal to lean up, so be careful obviously...and I’m not to blame if something breaks.....but it’s fun
