With Little Nightmares II just days away from release on Nintendo Switch, who better to give us the heebie-jeebies than award-winning illusionist and mentalist Derren Brown?
Bandai Namco has today launched a brand new trailer for the game starring Brown as he explores the topics of fear and nightmares. You can watch it for yourself above, or read this quick synopsis if you need convincing:
"Set within the warped and twisted reality of the Little Nightmares world, Derren takes you on a journey through your deepest fears and nightmares. He explores the depths of what you feel and dread as you try to escape the dark void you find yourself thrown into. Discover your own nightmares and find the answers to your own important questions – is the nightmare a dream or is it a reality?"
Little Nightmares II is a "suspense adventure" which has you playing as Mono, a young boy trapped in a world that's been distorted by the humming transmission of a distant tower. Promising to be just as creepy as the first game, the title actually has a free demo available to check out on the Switch eShop as we speak.
The full game launches on 11th February, both digitally on the eShop and at retail.

Jeff Bezos let himself go.
"Good night, and sleep tight"
Good job sir, I will not
Brilliant! I hope the second game is much, MUCH longer than the first one!
Now that is how you do a trailer! Class.

Oi! Jeff wishes he was half as cool as Derren Brown!
Well I did not have any previous interest, but that was a great trailer! Will have to check out the demo
Good trailer. Much better than a corporate head on an E3 stage.
The line between scary and goofy is so very thin.
Good games trailer. Different to anything seen before and game play footage included too. I like DB, seen him live twice and it was astounding.
It gave me chills!
I usually do not like scary games because they are more gore than scare, but this has good atmosphere. I'm digging it.
I really enjoyed the demo but this isn't a £30 game to me. I'll wait for a price drop.
Eurgh, Darren Brown. Hadn't heard his name in a couple of years - was hoping he had vanished himself from existence
This is honestly the game of 2021 that I am most hyped for
Great trailer! Will likely pick this one up. Enjoyed the demo.
I have zero respect for Derren Brown. His past 'documentaries' have tried to make viewers think he has convinced somebody or some people that something has happened or that they need to do something (like a serious candid camera show).
But an astute viewer will realize it's all fakery and that the unwitting 'victims' are actors.
Already have this preordered. Loved the first game so much. If you like atmospheric, scary games with physics based puzzles then you should definitely check this one out.
