PS5 version for ownership. Not interested in empty Game-Key Cards, and Capcom games on PS5 generally have an offline build on the disc.

I love my Switch 2 but why would I pay the same amount for a digital rental with worse performance and lower resolution?

Looking forward to it. Had to get it for PS5 unfortunately because you own that version rather than rent it via an empty Game-Key Card.

Game-Key Card means I wouldn’t have been buying it anyway, sadly.

@AlanShore Yeah, Namco’s handling of Switch 2 releases has been very poor. They’ve lost a lot of money from me due to it.

This will almost definitely be a Game-Key Card as well, so another skip from me.

Where’s the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Soma they promised last year?

So if I want to replay the main game, am I expected to delete my 100% complete save file, or did they add an extra slot like the Zelda Switch 2 Editions?

I know you can create another User on the console and play it from the start again that way, but I don’t want to do that, and I want my play time to continue increasing on my own User and profile page.

I was looking forward to the wooden block set for the longest time, but in no universe am I paying £113.99 for bits of tree.

I didn’t mind him in Wonder, but I also stopped playing Mario Tennis Fever because of him (I know you can turn him off in some modes).

@blockfight I’ve no interest in purchasing a game that is badly optimised. There is no reason this game should take up more space than games like Tears of the Kingdom and Resident Evil Requiem.

Plus, as I said, 1080p docked is unacceptable. Switch 2 has significantly more processing power available when docked so this game could and should be outputting at native 4K, or at minimum 1440p. Sounds like they just couldn’t be bothered.

Won’t be buying this because there is no excuse for a 6 hour long 2D game being 29.1GB lol.

Edit: I guess you’re referring to Resident Evil Requiem releasing the following day, which is totally unrelated and the way it was worded made it sound like Pools is being released on Switch 2 by Capcom one day after the Switch version.

How is a mobile-looking game like this only at 1440p on Switch 2? It should be at 4K 60 without issue.

I’m finding the button and stick controls rather unwieldy and almost unplayable, but I realise they did the best they could considering how the games were originally designed.

You say Simogo Legacy Collection is coming to both Switch and Switch 2, but the eShop only lists a Switch version.

So is there actually a Switch 2 version, or are you just referring to the Switch version being playable on a Switch 2?

As expected, mostly stuff you can order online right now from the comfort of your own home, without having to potentially travel across the country.

Devolver recently (finally!) confirmed that the Switch 2 version will be a free upgrade when it eventually arrives, so I’m buying.

So glad they’re doing a screen protector. I’ve been scratching my Switch 2 up for the past four months because only a Turtle Beach branded one will do!

Would’ve bought it for the fact it isn’t a Game-Key Card, but what’s the point when the version on the card will be outdated if and when the 60fps patch drops?

I got all the Achievements in the other Fire Emblem mobile game, by using auto battle for everything just to get My Nintendo platinum points.

Have no interest in the game or franchise otherwise. Shame this one doesn’t seem to reward players with platinum points.

Seems to run at a sub-native resolution in handheld mode, and the rumble is just generic/loud vibration.

Not the best first impression.

Could you not add an option to unlock the framerate to 60fps for Switch 2 players, though?

I’ll buy it if it’s enhanced on Switch 2. Seeing as it isn’t mentioned whatsoever, I’m guessing not.

I’m not interested in Ubisoft, Star Wars, or Game-Key Cards so it’s not for me, but I’m happy to see it’s a decent port.

I bought the Upgrade Pack the night it came out and the resolution is abysmal, it looks worse than the Switch version. Really poorly implemented DLSS, with artefacts and heavy blur. The framerate is quite smooth however.

@canaryfarmer Official Nintendo Magazine UK once gave a poster of Phantom Hourglass art, but they put the logo for Twilight Princess at the bottom, and spelled Twilight wrong (“Twighlight”).

Only seems to be a thing in North America. Disappointing that you of all sites would neglect to specify that.

I had no issues with the first game. I’ll be buying this.

Joy-Con 2 are better for gyro controls, so that’ll help too.

It would seem that us in Europe and the UK aren't even given the option of a Game-Key Card.

The only Nintendo series I have no interest in, so this NSO + EP update is a disappointment to me.

"£39.99" suggests a UK release to me, so that's great. Will be getting this instantly.

Also, samushunter on X recently correctly leaked the Xenoblade Chronicles X DE announcement, and they're now saying Metroid Prime 2 Remastered should arrive around February 2025, having apparently been pushed into Q1 2025 from this year.

For some reason it's listed in the eShop with a release date of October 31st, despite releasing yesterday, November 7th. For this reason it's quite far down the Recent Releases section of the eShop. Just search for "Broken Sword" instead.

The game also wasn't listed in the eShop coming soon section prior to release. I can never understand why publishers do this, it's like they're actively trying to ensure their game sells poorly.

We played Wii Sports and we loved it. We found ourselves weeing all over the floor from the sheer fun we had with our Wii. We've now cleaned up our wee and we want to tell you that we love you Nintendo and we love our Wii.
