Can't wait. I want to enjoy using my Wii U again. Good games help with that.

Just a heads up for anyone in the UK, you can get the light blue Wii with Wii Remote, Nunchuk, Mario & Sonic 2012 and Metroid Other M from ShopTo for £90.

It takes component, SD cards and has Wifi, but no GC compatibility.

Ill get one for my collection if its like £50.

That's cool but you should have used a more pristine DS Lite. The rubber pads on the back are badly stained and the shoulder buttons have discoloured.

Having the option to choose would probably significantly delay VC games in Europe.

I'm happy. It gives me another great reason to repurchase VC games of which I've already bought the regular Wii version.

I just hope they keep releasing them in 60hz.

Can you guys ask NoE if all Wii U VC games will be 60hz in Europe now? I'd also be interested to know if Balloon Fight will be updated.

According to NoE's weekly download news on their site, the Rayman Legends demo came out yesterday. It isn't on the eShop though...

Yeah, Lovefilm isn't on the eShop, and the icon on the Wii U menu says it isn't out yet.

Why are Nintendo pricing eShop downloads much higher than they used to? PullBlox is £1.80 cheaper yet has more content.

If the golden raccoon block appears on a level and then you save and quit, you lost the sparkly stars. It happen to me on the very last castle on the final secret world. I was pretty sad. Luckily, if you beat the level without using it the block disappears from the level and the sparkly stars returned. I tested this to double check.

Wii U launch game, along with a port of Rayman 2. It's Ubusift tradition to have a rushed port of Rayman 2 at console launches now.

I didn't need reminding. I spent so long waiting for a UK launch date announcement that when May 3rd 2002 was finally announced the date seems to have been engraved into a section of my brain.

One of my favourite consoles ever. It helped me get through secondary school, which I hated lol, and made me feel proud to like a console that wasn't just the in thing, like the PS2 was at the time.

That should make it £1.80 here. If so I'll download it straight away.

Incase nobody has remembered, the day these games are available is the Gamecube's 10 year anniversary in Europe!

Game & Watch Gallery 2 will be only the second Nintendo published GBC game released in 10 months. That's absolutely appalling in my opinion.

G&WG2 is the Color version. There's been a trailer on the Nintendo Channel for ages.

Metroid is the main thing I want, whether it be a 2D side scroller or Prime 4 or both.

F Zero, Eternal Darkness 2 (Pretty confident this will be announced, as Nintendo re-trademarked Eternal Darkness and Luigis Mansion just before Luigis Mansion 2 was announced), Big Brain Academy, Wave Race and Donkey Kong 64 3D would be nice too.

I really hope their is a black Wii U and controller at launch. I'm not buying white again. It doesn't matter how clean you are, those white rubber circle pads will be yellow and discoloured in a matter of weeks.

@James, do your "sources" know of any plans to release the Wii U in black at launch?

The game looks extremely generic, but if it turns out to be fun, I'll get it from ShopTo. If its GAME and Ganestation only for online as well, I'll leave it.

Doesn't matter where you go, you always get one of these people who think they know it all and just because their 3DS doesn't have a specific issue, it means everyone else who does is either crazy or lying.

I read about this quite a while ago, but yeah it would explain all those old IGN-fueled rumours of a Kid Icarus revival for Wii.

Maybe they'll do a Sony and eventually port it to Wii, like how Sony ported some PSP games to PS2, such as WipEout.

Anyway, as Nintendo were in charge of marketing this game in Europe, this is partially their fault. If they advertised it as much as they do Professor Layton, which this game is very similar to, it would have easily sold better. Nintendo would rather waste money on hiring some idiots to drive around in "real" Mario Kart's to advertise old games everybody already has though.

Already completed Zelda without restore points last year when the Ambassador games launched, so nothing for me.

Nice. A review of a first party downloadable 3DS game a few hours before its even out. Will buy later if I'm not still busy with Rhythm Thief.
