@JohnnyMind it can be toggled to play in 3rd Person in game. You press and hold B then somewhere on the wheel that pops up there's an option to toggle to 3rd Person.

I had a ton of fun on this and made quite a bit of friends cuz of it, but I spent WWWAAAYYY too much money growing my clan fast since ofc everyone and their mother were more interested in joining the Nintenno Clan ☹️ also with now a growing Switch 2 backlog I really can't see myself diving back in plus I hear it's cross-platform now and that means even MUCH MORE advanced Clans than even Nintenno exist... it is tempting though to see who still stuck around though I know if I log back in I'll be engulfed again...

Uuuhhh no? It was developed by the same group as those that'd developed Odyssey so of course it's going to have the same feel... now if it was developed at least by a different Group within EPD then mmaayybee and yes I know those groups focus on different things, but then it would have fresher takes.

Only games I have pre-ordered are Cyberpunk 2077, Daemon x Machina and Donkey Kong Bananza. Was going to preorder Madden since it's been 13 years, but being a GameKey Card definitely tipped it to a No. Same for Yakuza. Hitman and Bravely Default I was already on the fence. Them being GKC pushed me to No. I'm sure therell probably be a game that will be a GKC and I'll have to bite the bullet, but atm there isn't a game like that so who knows.

I usually don't buy accessories until after a few months. Then I'll probably buy a Travel case, second ac adapter, pro controller and micro sd express.

@X68000 uumm you do realize Cyberpunk 2077 is supposedly 64GB and it's going on a 65GB Card so I don't think space is the issue with Madden. It's always $$$. Heck explain Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster also being on a Game Key Card and supposedly is going to be 11 GB there's now some mysterious 54+GB of space being taken up by that game?

I keep all my systems especially now with the possibility of games being much more expensive and yes I know BuT tHe PaSt I can work on my backlog lol with that said I'm surprised people still trade in with eBay and Amazon being a thing not to mention the other dozens of sites that allow people to sell their junk. Probably could get more than those values or wait til Switch 1 are rare and make bank selling to someone desperate to replace a broken system that's hard to find.

@Daimando kinda answered your own question. They probably want the sales not the same controversy and giving Nintendo fans what they usually laud on boards of on Cart and Lower Price will only help them

@mlt IMO it's no better than I, II, III, IV or even Odyssey so if they didn't tickle your fancy doubt Shadows will.

I tried supporting Ubisoft as much as I could but they haven't really released much on the Switch... I think I've bought every Ubisoft title outside Just Dance and Rabbids Party and yes that includes their board/card games and even Roller Champions which actually was pretty fun.

@Zeebor15 It probably isnt the actual unit. Otherwise I would think Nintendo would have sent a Cease & Desist order and terminated whatever license is held that allows them to make accessories for the Switch 2. I guess Nintendo could be waiting so it's not confirmed that is the actual unit, but doubtful as the longer Nintendo waits the harder a lawsuit gets when it comes to NDAs afaik.

@Jimmy_G_Buckets same especially since apparently I saw on Facebook that they added a "Prioritize Performance" option even for the likes of PS5 since I guess they were having issues during the Beta... I'm getting it on PC, but would love portable option ofc.

I hope not but to me it looks like it's some kind of portable dock... I hope "Switch 2" isn't some kind of enhancing peripheral in the vein of 64DD or the Expansion Pak or others like 32x or even the SNES Playstation or whatever it was supposed to be called. I'm fairly certain I've heard other things Nintendo was trying to do with the likes of even the NES and GameCube and even the Wii, but can't remember off the top of my head if they were true or just rumors.

Brotherhood was probably the word they were looking for and would make sense as it "covers" their relation whereas brothership would imply they're not really Brothers, but are actually "Bros" (which might explain the constant abbreviations) "creating (as in moving)" their relation closer to being Brothers. Which makes no sense seeing as if I remember correctly its been officially announced they are Fraternal Twins. Sssooo mmaayybee they mean Brother's(Hip) like Brothers attached at the Hip 😆

@Max_the_German Its something I always mention in any Survey since "Switch 2" was formally announced to be real and a Letter to the President I've written. Kind of like Sony did recently with a new batch of PS5s they released.

I've suggested at least a year of being on MyNintendo, 6 Months with a NSO Subscription or 3 Months with a NSO +Expasion Subscription. I suggested ~1000 Platinum Points or ~100 Gold Points for MyNintendo and just like the Controllers must have an active Subscription which I've ofc mentioned have a certain time frame too so someone can't just do a Free Trial on multiple emails. Thing is didn't know how to account for those on Family Memberships unless they can somehow allow 1 per profile per membership or something like that.

Also, Nintendo may want to launch sooner than expected if Tariffs really will be increased.

@Yoshi3 I'd love to see Hunters' Multiplayer fleshed out more say for Metroid Prime 4 which I know apparently is an unpopular opinion. I know CoD apparently will be coming to Switch 2 (yes I know MP4 is supposedly a Switch 2025 release, but could be coming to Switch 2 like how BotW did), but would be cool to have more shooters because it's one if the main reasons my brother doesn't play his as much anymore. Yes he's one of those that got a Switch mainly in hopes it was going to get a CoD like Wii U did.

Didn't they do the same prior to the reveal of NX? I mean it was better than Wii U support but not exactly expansive.

Excited for all of them. With that said here's to hoping the more includes Ecco the Dolphin, Comix Zone, Vectorman and most hoping for Skies of Arcadia.

For me it all depends. If I'm really into the game the longer the better. If not then ofc short. Maybe like other games I've played make them long but skippable.

Highly excited but been burned twice from crowdfunding so just gonna wait for it to actually be released.

@MegaMari0 didn't mean to sound negative lol I did say it was a mention (unconfirmed) that I only noticed for a second or saw. Never really looked deeper. So it's still quite possible. I mean going off XC3/FR and what VERY little I played or even remember of XCX I'm sure they can shoehorn XCX into the Trilogy somehow and maybe we'll see XCX Definitive Edition as they announce XCX2. All of which is just a dream just in case lol

As for Devils Third. It definitely was clunky, but once you got used to the controls. It was amazing and even with the small player base the amount of drama that was playing out between Rival Factions online complete with backstabbing and triple crosses. It was freaking amazing. I can only imagine if it got the user base that would have allowed what Itagaki envisioned to happen... "hundreds of Seiges every day" how more dramatic the online mode would have been...

@cvrator depends where you live and the temperament of the person that spotted you. Try "fidgeting" a 6 inch blade in a Newark MVC where the Security Guard spots you and see what happens.

@MegaMari0 Mine would be Devils Third, but definitely Xenoblade Chronicles X too because I only played 1 mission and then got hooked on Devils Third lol I mean I still have it, but would love to see a Remake or Remaster although I did glance a mention that X isn't considered part of the Trilogy so pobably wouldn't happen...

@cvrator I know up to 18 months in prison and a $10,000 fine is bonkers compared to 4 months...

I'll eventually get it, but still waiting in a Physical or at least for the digital to drop to at least $30, but preferably $25. Also waiting to see how Online with Switch 2 will work because atm don't have NSO and don't want to commit to a year and find out it'll have a much better Online System. Regardless I'll still get this for just Single Player alone but then probably would wait for $20 or preferably $15 if so.

I just wanted Metroid Prime 4 since that was the splash screen lol I didn't see "All New Metroid Adventure" and I'm fine with that. The only thing I want out of the extra delays is a robust Online Multiplayer Mode. I also wasn't really expecting to be wowed by the graphics and coming from someone who really doesn't care about graphics (hence the username) 4 definitely looks better than previous entries and probably any Wii U game as far as I can remember lol who knows maybe the extra time was for Switch 2 development as well.

How's the Pedigree of these two companies? I've heard Pqube but have yet to play any of their games and never heard of the second one. I'll still be keeping an eye out for this one, but fairly cautious as I am excited.

@dmcc0 Thank You for the heads up. Was ignoring the sale, but didn't know Qubic is the current Publisher of the Bit.Trip games. Although not amazing. They were quite relaxing for short burts when I only had a short time or didn't like a long gaming session. So they're definitely worth 20c each imo!

Basically as long as I have a guarantee that 30, 40, 50 years down the line when I'm feeling nostalgic I can redownload a game I puchased and no a "refund" would not cut it. An example is I just set up my N64 again because seeing Blast Corps announced made me want to replay it and I didn't have to subscribe to Nintendo's Premium Online Service then I remembered hard it was and was only looking to unwind so switched to Conkers Bad Fur Day XD

TLDR as long as I can play decades down the line without paying and yes I own physical copies of a lot of streaming shows and movies.

Has Sony produced any amazing movies recently? I'm genuinely asking because aside from the obvious Uncharted and Spiderman movies I can't think of any movies that Wowed me recently much less being remembered they were produced by Sony. Actually there was Afterlife. Enjoyable but not to the point I'd expect a Zelda movie to be... man I gotta temper my expectations lol I know I'll probably be severely disappointed with my supremely high expectations atm... I mean I'll ofc go see it but damn right now I'm hoping for The Greatest Movie of the Past Century type deal which I highly doubt it'll be XD

It was awful for me. Not because no Switch 2 or Metroid Prime 4, but let's be honest those definitely would have been show stealers. I thought it was awful because of all the fillers of games not only already known but were already in the previous Direct! Only thing I'm slightly excited about like most is Thousand Year Door, but ofc I'd much rather a new Paper Mario like I would have preferred a Super Mario RPG 2. I hope what seems to be a Direct filled with known Announcements that means the next Direct will be bonkers or be for Switch 2.

@Laxeybobby The Total War games are supposed to be pretty good. I loved Shogun and Rome, but haven't tried Warhammer yet as not big on the Fantasy Universe myself. I'm hoping for a 40k version lol

Ofc if you mean Switch again not my kind of Universe so havent actually played them but the Warhammer Quest games on Switch Ive heard good things about as well as Storm Ground but that one seems more Extreme Hate it or Love it lol

Maybe if it was Which franchise deserves a new game already then sure, but my choice would still be Eternal Darkness well actually Custom Robo.

I've actually lost interest n CoD since not being out on Switch for so long. I probably would've stupidly bought it day 1 had it come out a few years ago, but the likes of Ark and Payday 2 has kept me busy. I know they delayed my brother from selling his Switch for now.

@Snatcher I'm the opposite. If I like it on the Switch I'll buy it on Steam/PC for the better graphics and online lol it's practically what I've done since.

Could be for the Asus ROG Ally but that's coming out soon so a bit late to tease or any of the Steamdeck competitors. Could also be for the rumored new PSP.

I'm definitely interested myself but not at the current price. Will wait for it to come down to $60 or so which I'm sure will happen. Maybe even $50 considering my substantial back log lol ah who am I kidding will probably snatch it at $60 and make my backlog take a backseat 😭
