I have this on PS3 physically, I got it for like $10 new on a Black Friday sale, but I have never played it mainly because I am waaaay behind on One Piece. I'm somewhere in the Water 7 arc, I think.
Someday I will play it. Someday....

I love how creative people are getting, and the cool thing is, the game allows it to happen no problem. These aren't "glitches" at all. Heck, I love that the game gives you more than one way to find solutions. If you want to open a gate, you have the straight forward Zelda solution, or you can just... use one of your special skills and fly over the gates.

I can't believe it's almost E3 again. Time flies. Holy crap.

I haven't gotten Horizon yet. I was going to get it day one, but I never did. Kind of just wanting to decompress from Zelda. I don't want to compare them. Lately just been playing games that I can't relate to Zelda in any way lol.
Maybe I'll ask for Horizon for my birthday this summer

Really... EA is just following the money. They see high sales, so now they're on board. They're like a fair weather friend.
Say what you will, but Nintendo needs EA. Nintendo needs EA and other third parties to be in on their system or it won't sell. We're not in a position to be picky about who comes and who goes.

Obviously, we don't know what they mean by bringing more games to the Switch. Ports of old games, maybe. Releasing full priced ports of old games that everybody has already bought and played elsewhere, and then wondering why they don't sell.... gee, that sounds familiar.

If I didn't upgrade to the New 3DS XL last year, I would buy this.

If you brought your Switch to a social setting that is most likely the reaction you'd get. My friends would probably grab it and throw it away.

The proper battle mode makes me want it I love having friends over and having a few beers while playing that. So much fun.
Don't have a Switch, but I know for a fact that I'll double dip on this and Zelda.

I've never even seen one of these things in a store, ever. I gave up my search in January. I still know tons of people that want these things.

Probably a port of the original game to PC (and maybe XB1 and PS4). Along with maybe a Bayonetta 1+2 pack for Switch.

If it's Bayonetta 3, I will wet myself.

Also, has there been any more news on the Bayonetta amiibo? Because I want that in my life.

I was wondering this to myself as well, while playing. I also had similar thoughts while playing Pokemon Sun.
CAN they go back to the old way of 3D Zelda after this? Can 2D/Top Down Zelda, traditional 3D Zelda and Open World/BOTW Style Zelda all exist together? I really like the traditional 3D Zeldas and the focus that they have, but I also like this new style. We'll have to wait and see.

I know I shouldn't be looking at these types of things, but I can't help myself. I want the best!

Got the Wii U version, just as I always intended. Won't be getting a Switch for another year. There's really no reason for me to buy that system right now. I am pretty sure I will double dip of BOTW though.
It's perfectly fine on Wii U. Frame rate drops every now and then, but that's to be expected from a game this large that has so much going on on-screen at times. I did have it freeze up for about five seconds after I killed an enemy though.

That said, I'm enjoying the game. Played it all day yesterday and played a little bit this morning. If I didn't have to go to work in an hour, I'd probably have another all day affair lol.

I have a feeling the Wii U version is going to be collectible somewhere down the line, just as Twilight Princess on Gamecube is more collectible than the Wii port (it was also the best version of the game, up until the Wii U rerelease).

"Friendzone cards". I'd have loved to have had them. Those Twitter people were clearly never eight years old and handing out valentine cards to EVERY KID IN THEIR CLASS. That was stressful.
It was even worse when you got down to the last five kids you really didn't know very well or like, and all you had left to give were the "Be My Beloved Valentine" type cards.

Well, I know I'm still buying it.

The real question is... can we just turn it off all together and just have the text?

I think Nintendo is banking on Zelda bringing in the sales (and it probably will). They're going after the people that skipped the Wii U.

For some people, finding the lost city of Atlantis would be easier than finding the NES Classic.

Presentation was a mixed bag. Personal highlights for me being Mario Odyssey and Xenoblade 2 in the middle and Zelda at the end. Still getting Zelda on Wii U as I've had it preordered for years. They gave very little information on their launch, though more may come out in the coming days.

$299.99 is in USD. In Canada the Switch is most likely going to be like $399.99. No way. Can't do it. No preorder for me, waiting for a price drop already lol.

Don't trade-in anything unless you really need the money.

@aaronsullivan I'm in Canada and I've had zero luck since day one lol. A coworker of mine actually found one at Shoppers Drug Mart, and said he would have gotten one for me had he known I wanted one. It's a drug store chain that also sells video games, but no one goes there to buy video games and everybody forgets that they sell video games. Which is probably why he found one there. I went to the same store the next day and there were none.

Kind of given up and won't start looking again until the new year when stock will most likely become normal and steady. I'm fine with it. But it's good to know that they are out there and that they're slowly trickling into the stores. It gives me some hope that the stock issue will be resolved some time soon.

These guys have several social media accounts, you'd think with all of the people that tweeted them saying "I'M GOING TO BUY THIIIIIIIS!", they'd have gotten the hint?

I've never actually seen that heavenly "In Stock" statement on any website ever, let alone any of my local stores.
I've made peace with the fact that I won't be seeing this thing in my house for a while.

This was one of my favourite features from HG/SS. It gave the game a little more of a personal touch.

That said, it might have had something to do with hardware limitations. The original 3DS struggles with these games enough as it is.

I think it's Mass Effect Andromeda. It comes out in the same month the Switch launches. If they're really on board, they have to prove it.

It's a really good game. I'm happy more people are going to get to play it. Though this seems like a reoccurring thing whenever it comes to these third party exclusive games on any platform anymore. They are running a business and they need to make money, and the Wii U really isn't a money maker of a machine.

Hopefully better frame rates and load times will come with these ports.

Another cool thing I found was that if you spin your trainer around in circles enough times they'll start doing a pirouette.

I'm almost positive these things are already sold out in Canada... or they're going to be.
I want one, and I'd like to get these as Christmas gifts for some people... but I don't see myself moving mountains for it. If it were a SNES or Gamecube (I'm not a huge N64 person), I'd be jumping through hoops.

I think a classic platformer game would be difficult since the characters differ in their speed and just how their games work.
It'd be interesting to see some kind of crossover RPG game though, like Mario and Luigi.

I hate that I can't vote for both Metroid and F-Zero.

The Wii U gamepad would have been good for a Metroid Prime game. It would have highlighted the gamepad. As a matter a fact, there are a lot of game genres that would have been good to define the gamepad's purpose, but they just didn't happen for one reason or another (or no reason at all).

And if Nintendo teams up with Sega again for F-Zero NX, that'd be awesome. Do I think it'll happen? No. I'm almost ready to say that Nintendo is done with the franchise at this point. Metroid's last real release was in 2010. F-Zero's was in 2003. I still have a fair bit of hope for Metroid (whether it be Prime or a 2D/2.5D game), but I think F-Zero is maybe just going to be a page in Nintendo's history book.

I think it's also fair to say Nintendo really doesn't know what to do with Star Fox. I wouldn't be shocked if Star Fox Zero is the last game we see from that series for a little while.

If I were 15 years younger I'd jump at these. But as a 20-something year old, I get the feeling that I'd feel like a bit of a tool walking around in one of them.

But now that I'm looking at the site, those Zelda Christmas sweaters would be kind of nice just to wear around the house in the winter.

I honestly haven't really watched the Pokemon anime since the start of the Battle Frontier. That said, this... looks terrible.

Still playing the games though. The new games look awesome.

Picking five was actually really tough. I could have easily picked just about every game on that list. I played a bunch of these games to death during elementary/middle school.

I'm still holding out hope that some day there will be another Pokemon game in the vein of Colosseum/XD.

I'd be lying if his story didn't make me a little misty eyed. My condolences to his family. I too was thinking about making some kind of donation to the epilepsy foundation.

You could just mess with the clock on your 3DS settings if you wanted to though. That's what I used to do with Diamond on the DS all the time. Don't care as much now though.

I might end up buying both versions in the end. I have Sun on perorder, and I'll probably try to get Moon on a sale some time later.

Glad to see they're trying to give the series some new life. I found the games were getting really stale.

I've come to strongly dislike amiibo and their functionality and the fact that they're glorified DLC.... but I love these figures.
