The Galaxy games are two of my absolute favorites ever, as you can tell by my handle. I’ve played them probably more than any other game except maybe SMB3 and Mario 64. But I have just never cared about the Rosalina storybook part of the game at all. Don’t think I ever even really paid attention to the story

I can get down completely with this list if you take out all the remakes. Tears at 6 seems fair though it’s probably my favorite 3D Zelda. I like how Wind Waker is in the top 5. Minish Cap should always be higher!

Uhhh yeah there is absolutely no doubt that is the filming of the Zelda movie. How in the world could you think that is “fake”? With those horses and the actress confirmed?

Physical for Switch 1, please

Dead Cells one of my favorite games and I also really enjoyed the last Prince of Persia. A Dead Cells with more platforming sounds perfect to me

Bananza over Silksong but I haven’t played Clair Obscure nor Hundred Line but if those are RPGs I would by default stick with Bananza. I don’t really like point and click games.

@Oyaji_Music in my opinion these miniscule updates are worth maybe $5 at most. I guess if you really want to replay any of these games it may be worth it to you. But the gameplay never changes, and most people don’t care or even notice tiny frame rate or resolution changes once they get into a game

I really dislike this era we are in with “Switch 2 Version” of games that are only a few years old. The box art looks ugly with all the text at the bottom and it’s all so confusing what you get on the cart vs have to download. Hopefully this only continues for a little while longer and they get back to releasing NEW games

I always play games with all default settings. Only things I may adjust is sound settings (I usually turn up music volume and turn down all other things like dialogue/sound effects)

Is it just me or does $3.50 actually seem kind of expensive for the time?

Of course they are. AI can’t even accurately pool data yet. It was hilarious how every podcast a couple years ago hyped AI and said it would take over the world by now. True AI still doesn’t even exist and likely never will.

Onto the next Super Smash Bros. I bet

Good. Get it right. I don’t want to buy any other consoles and this is the only game I really want to play that’s not on Switch. AstroBot is the only other one but I don’t see any way that ever comes to Switch.

The Super Mario 3 one sold out I see. I’d probably get the SM2 one or the Pikmin shoe fidgets. Not to put on shoes, I don’t own any fidget loafers. But looks like the best bang for your buck to have 3 rubber Pikmin figures

Most things are better with an Indika. This looks especially true. Need more games like this. Hate that almost every video game falls into the same boring tropes of science fiction

I don’t think they get to 15 million this year as forecast but we will see

If they felt this way we should all be thankful they made this decision. We should all encourage game makers to release finished products on Day 1. It’s a terrible new reality but it wasn’t that way for 30 years of video games so it doesn’t need to be a standard (releasing “unfinished” games)

Not a huge fan of the Mario case. DK one is nice but I usually get Mario-themed cases if not just plain black. I have a glow in the dark, neon green mushroom case for switch. Still glows well!

Why not allow locking of buttons on the back? Doubt it comes up much but maybe there will be a game where useful

Tiny graphical updates to games I already played mean absolutely nothing to me

To me it seemed like Reggie was an actual gamer and Bowser a very casual gamer at best. I do think probably that the head of NoA has little say compared to Japan, but we know that Reggie had enough pull (and smarts) to demand WiiSports be a pack-in. Helped save Nintendo. And America is obviously the largest market. Many things lately have given me pause for the first time as a Nintendo fan.

I think the biggest thing yet to give me pause is not the higher prices, but the lack of “Nintendo extra quality/polish/detail” to go with those price increases. I’ll pay extra for the Nintendo Seal if it continues to mean what it always did

Not big into sports games but I appreciate the effort. I think this takes Nintendo and sports games from “I would never play a sports game on Switch” to “I would play a sports game on Switch if I didn’t own any other console”

But I do think it would be more “Nintendo” if they would sacrifice some graphics for better performance. I’ve always liked Nintendo the best because they prioritize gameplay and physics over graphics
