Bravely Default 2 for me. Split Pad Pros are nice for portable play. I prefer them to the joy cons. Also, did not know Road Redemption was getting a physical box release. It's a solid title that scratches that Road Rash itch.
Don't care about this game but comments made me want to grab a bowl of popcorn. My guess is the press release was, at least a little bit, to get their game a headline. It worked, I didn't know what this was until today.
Torchlight 3 is a port that really bums me out. The game feels super slow and looks generally bad. Torchlight 2, by comparison, is much better. Maybe they will tweak performance down the road, but I don't have my hopes up. As for this list, I'm really interested in the dino simulator and I might double dip on Metro. Had that on PC years ago and the first game is a pure classic.
FF7 and games of that era got the benefit of being the first 3D game of their respective series. The game itself is good but so damn overrated. Kefka is still a better villian and I'd argue 7 isn't even the best of the PS1 era. I suppose this is cool for the many rabid fans of FF7 though.
No reason to change your image. People see you as the family friendly company. Whether true or just perceived, they have a niche. As an 80s kid and now an old guy with kids, I appreciate what Nintendo is doing.
Nintendo doesn't really compete with MS or Sony anymore. Both have long since abandoned the family and kids demographic. Nintendo is really the only company that consistently tries to make new experiences. They're not always on point (the cardboard stuff), but at least they're trying.
Maybe the powers that be will just give everyone a shot of Vitamin C and stop breathlessly reporting every case? I'd almost be fine with it if it meant we could have human connection again.
This looks good. I never played it but I'm a bit hesitant without a review. Wish they'd release Unreal and some of the arena shooters from the late 90s early 00s.
Kemco basically uses RPG maker to create generic SNES style JRPGs. If you really really like that era and have literally exhausted the entire catalogue of 16-bit RPGs... Go ahead but you won't remember most of them.
9 is almost unplayable... They dropped the encounter rate but didn't compensate with more experience per fight. Without the modifiers the game is just not good and honestly, it's aged worse than both 7 and 8 because of the 4 person parties making battles last an eternity. I'd probably choose 6, 8, or 12 assuming the 8 port is okay.
One of the greatest and most underrated games in Rare's library is Blast Corps. I'd be all over a remaster. That game provided a lot of fun in the early days of the N64. A classic!

Re: Editorial: Happy New Year From All Of Us At Nintendo Life
2021 shaping up to be even worse. Hopefully we at least get some info on Metroid Prime 4.
Re: Video: Square Enix Releases New Trailer For Switch Exclusive Bravely Default II
Was a fan of the first game so will definitely get this but yeah... Those character designs... Blech.
Re: Feature: Best Nintendo Switch Ports Of 2020
@Anguspuss I would love a port of X. Maybe the multiplayer could find a community on the Switch.

Re: Reminder: What's The Best Switch Game Of 2020? It's Time To Rate Your Favourites
Xenoblade and Cross Code were my favorites this year. Hades was good, maybe even great, but still overrated by gaming press.
Re: The Game Awards GOTY Is The Last Of Us Part 2
The game awards is as much a joke as the Oscars or any other award show.
Re: Ghost ‘n Goblins Resurrection And Capcom Arcade Stadium Coming To Switch In February 2021
Buying this for sure.

Re: JRPG Sci-Fi Adventure Woodsalt Delayed Again To Avoid Cyberpunk 2077
The big heads are enough of a turnoff for me to pass. This is an art style that should have been left in the past.

Re: This Powerful Portable Console Has Us Dreaming Of A Nintendo Switch Pro
Switch Pro will probably not even be 1080p. My guess is a sleeker design but not much in the way of more graphical power.
Re: Mini Review: Five Dates - An Amusing Dating Sim That Doesn't Seem To Know Its Audience
Graphics are very realistic.
Re: Poll: Rate Your Favourite SNES Games
Ogre Battle was outstanding. Did not know a Tactics Ogre game was on SNES....

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Duel #65 - Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
Great game, but wasn't as scary as some contemporary stuff, mainly Silent Hill 2.
Re: Nightdive Studios Delays Its Enhanced Edition Of Blade Runner
Game is a classic. Will support this effort when it goes to market.

Superman 64 not on the list...

Re: Review: Alwa's Legacy - One Of The Best Metroidvanias We've Seen On Switch So Far
10 to 20 hours for the genre is perfect. Hollow Knight was way too long.
Re: In An Unusual Twist, Remothered: Broken Porcelain Will Now Launch Earlier Than Planned
What the hell does remothered even mean?
Re: In An Unusual Twist, Remothered: Broken Porcelain Will Now Launch Earlier Than Planned
@aznable 3 was so disappointing after 2. The Room was more memorable than 3 imo.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Duel #60 - Metroid: Other M
I picked Japan not because it's good, but because the other one is very boring.

Baten Kaitos is the other gamecube game I'd love a remake of.
Re: Random: Some 3D All-Stars Players Aren't Happy About The Visible Debug Cubes In Super Mario Sunshine
Mario 64 not supporting 16:9 is the biggest issue I have with this collection.

I can't wait to claw into this one.
Re: Nintendo Reveals Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, A Game Set 100 Years Before Breath Of The Wild

Would love Mario 64 with Odyssey graphics. Too bad.
Re: Review: Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition - A Weak RPG Enlivened By Nostalgia
Bizarre game to remaster.
Re: Poll: What's The Best Final Fantasy Game On Nintendo Consoles?
@Ulysses I'd take an 11 port all day. 11 is the greatest mmo ever imo.

Any vibration on this pad? Looks interesting and priced good.
Re: Tormented Souls Brings "Classic Survival Horror Gameplay" To Switch In 2021
A little bit of fatal frame silent Hill feel which is great, but concerned about performance and all that darkness on the handheld screen.

Re: Metacritic Implements 36-Hour Delay On User Reviews, To Ensure "Gamers Have Time To Play"
Probably pressure from Naughty Dog and Sony after The Last of Us 2 debacle as to not damage early sales.
