In an industry where delays have almost become the expected thing for new releases, indie publisher Modus Games has revealed that Remothered: Broken Porcelain will be doing the opposite, launching earlier than originally planned. Ah, that feels better.

The game's original release date of 20th October has been scrapped, with the team now heading for a 13th October launch. Shane Bierwith, EVP of global marketing at Modus, explains that a busy month ahead is to blame.

"This is an incredibly busy month for games, particularly horror games. While moving dates forward isn’t common, we’d like to allow horror fans to get their hands on Broken Porcelain early so players can have more time to experience all the great games releasing around Halloween."

Hey, we won't complain!

If you're only now hearing about this for the first time, Remothered: Broken Porcelain acts as both prequel and sequel to its predecessor, Remothered: Tormented Fathers. The new title is said to "weave events from the first entry into this all-new experience that pulls fans and newcomers alike into an incredibly immersive and haunting experience".
