@Damo Ah okay. I should've been more specific. The GamesIndustry.biz one only shows the top 10 all format chart.

I meant the one on the actual Chart-Track site which has the full UK top 40 individual and all format chart. I enjoy more detail, plus who doesn't want to know that Mario Kart 7 is back in the UK top 40 again. :]

Re: Random: This Dreamcast Nintendo Switch Paintjob Sure Is Dreamy

Folkloner

The back is fine, even though Dreamcast 2 makes no sense. Front is fine except for the bizarre and off-putting circular lines cutting through the Joy-Cons. I get what they were going for but it aesthetically, it doesn't work.

The grip is pretty shoddy, esp. considering the faux-VMU design isn't even centered properly.

Re: Starlink: Battle For Atlas And Additional Packs Available To Pre-Order From Nintendo UK Store

Folkloner

I fear for Starlink at this high price tbh. I can't see them selling many Starship packs either given how expensive they are.

I hope i'm wrong and the Star Fox license, plus the tendency of things to sell well on Switch, ensures decent sales for it but i also wouldn't be surprised if it being in a genre that typically doesn't sell amazing numbers, plus the high price point ultimately dents its sales impact.

Re: Sony Responds To Nintendo's Success With Its Very Own PlayStation Classic Mini Console

Folkloner

Is it really Sony copying Nintendo though? Micro consoles existed 'before' the NES Mini. Plus, doesn't it makes complete business sense to follow what others have done when it's profitable to do so?

We yell until we are blue in the face on here that Nintendo need to copy Sony and Microsoft when it comes to proven, industry standard online infrastructure and functionality, but Sony looking at what Nintendo are doing and following suit, that's deserving of criticism? Get real.

Re: Nintendo Switch Nindies Showcase Summer 2018 Announced For 28th August

@Nincompoop

To be fair, over the last couple of months Doom Eternal, Saints Row 3, Grandia I and Grandia II HD, Diablo III, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Disgaea 1, Digimon Survive, FIFA 19, South Park: The Stick of Truth, Fortnite and Paladins have all been confirmed or released on Switch.

There's also rumours of Dark Souls II, Spyro Remastered and Red Faction.

Not that we don't want more of course, but they are being announced.

Re: Nintendo Posts Job Listings For Switch User Interface Engineers

@19Robb92 Likewise. If anything, i feel completely ambivalent about this news as on the one hand i'm happy to 'know' an overhaul is in the works, but on the hand, amazed and disappointed that it seemingly [a] hasn't started yet, or [b] has stalled and they felt they needed help.

The other possibility is that the reason they're hiring for such specific roles is because their plans for the overhaul have grown more ambitious than they once were.

Not that i hold out much hope of the latter given this is Nintendo we are talking about.

Re: Nintendo Download: 16th August (Europe)

@oji Another week, another comment from yourself that displays your ignorant and baseless opinions. Your faulty logic dictates that because there's a lot of releases and you don't know or care to look into what any of them are, they must be shovelware.

Either that or you don't understand the meaning of the term. At least 8 to 10 of the new releases come no-where near meeting such criteria.

Re: Review: Overcooked 2 (Switch)

Folkloner

@NintendoFan4Lyf Yeah. After i read that above i was overjoyed.

That said, i am glad to see that you can play Story Mode online with friends. You just have to press 'X' on the main menu and host / join a friend and 'then' enter Story Mode.

Friend[s] can join 1-3 players on a single Switch and play Story, Arcade, Versus together if the 1-3 players on that single Switch are the host - which is nice, but it doesn't work the other way around at launch.
