@RareFan i liked AoSTH, silly and not all that serious yes.. Good if you like that kind of thing though, the voice actor for Robotnik was great IMO.

@CaptainRPG i wouldn't say that's a bad thing tbh, it's just a shame they censored Sonic X over here. A slightly more mature film would be welcome along with the jokes but I'm not counting on it.

Hope it's difficult, i can beat SoR2 but never been able to beat Final Fight CD.. Amazing music, i even tried 1-2 years back on an emulator and must've tried at least 8-9 times and i got quite far, still lost.

For some reason i find Final Fight very difficult, the only way i could get far was by using a lot of flying kicks later on, great game though.

@DsheroX have you seen the way "mature" people talk in online games? I've heard literal kids on mics, meanwhile filth is going on in the comments when they KNOW a kid is there.

Some parents are obviously dumb to let them play multiplayer games in the first place, and they're obviously too young to be playing mature games anyway.

Plus communities are usually toxic anyway so..

Oh and N4G is definitely not family friendly either, sometimes littered with very sexual stuff all over the pages, but then clicks = money so they don't care.

@NightBeast ahh the predictive critic, just like most are. I can think of a few films that are well liked that i DON'T like. And vice versa..

@EvaEeveeFan I think the bigger problem is parents letting little kids play mature games, hearing what sounds like 10 year old over the microphone screaming and shouting gets very annoying.. But that's not even the main issue, every day i play online i see at least 1 person being extremely abusive with language and insults, and parents think it's okay to let little kids into that environment.. It breeds constant toxicity.

It's funny how parents think it's OK for their kid to see brutal gore and filthy language, but suddenly it's a no-no when a bit of nudity is involved.

The Super Scope seems to get a bit of a bashing for being inaccurate, but i don't remember it being an issue? Just that it had to be calibrated by wildly shooting the target at the start until you hit the bullseye.. At least from what i remember.

I also had the guns with Lethal Enforcers, good cheesy fun that one, i quite enjoyed it.

For the next system can't they just add a powerful decently sized cooler into the dock? The dock won't be really compact anymore, but if it had heatpipes coming out to dock to the Switch (if possible?) That can boost up the power quite a lot.

Even if they give us a Conker remake and sequel, kids will probably still play it, they've been infesting adult MP games for a while now.. Thanks to moron parents.

Jim is right, it's like IMDB.. Bandwagon of hate or love, even if something is overrated or underrated. People don't think, they just go with what's trending.. Figures why most things like memes are usually cringe worthy.

@Reigestugatensho I haven't seen much 15 (UK rating) anime but i know for a fact there are some like Highschool DxD with that rating and from what i know they can be pretty pornographic.

@xshinox uh, no there is some sexualisation going on in Shantae, not much but a bit hence the 12 rating.

Have you ever even seen some 12 rated anime? They can be surprisingly mature, with the 15 stuff being practically soft core pr0n and definitely not for kids.. Which is prob why they're on bluray/dvd and don't get aired in the UK.

With Shantae it's mainly just a bit of skimpy clothing and some suggestive text tho for the most part.

Hope there's a remake coming of Monster World, loved that one.

Slightly improved hardware? I don't get the point unless it's at least 40-50% better. This just sounds like New 3DS again but we'll see.

As above i think it might be a fun film, can't go much wrong with Jim Carrey.

Only saw a little of the intro of the first game and never played it, looks hilarious though.

Wish they'd bring it back.. Too bad Rare won't do anything with it, why not just let Nintendo buy the rights along with Banjo? We could do with an adult theme game like that, there's nothing else really like it.

Too many people bash stuff for stupid reasons these days. I'm gonna watch it just for Jim Carrey anyway, he seems fun in this considering he was looking quite glum for a while, nice to see him acting a bit silly like he used to.

Loved Monster World personally, on the Mega Drive anyways. Willing to give this one a go.. But, why does it look like he's wearing just underwear?

@Stocksy 7 is a good score based on number alone, don't forget that taste differs from person to person and that 7 could easily be an 8 to you as well. This is why i take reviews for games & films/anime with a pinch of salt.. Not everyone has the same taste.

My favourite WB game is either Monster World on the Mega Drive, or Dragon's Trap.

Wonder what a 3D game in the series would be like, i always pictured it as being very similar to Zelda.

End of the day you watch and enjoy what interests you, critics are nonsense and sometimes biased by their own taste. It's all subjective. I can think of some popular things on TV that don't interest me at all, and vice versa.

I'm with the few who didn't mind the design all that much, though of course if they make it close to one of his more recent designs then great.

Regardless people will no doubt find something to trash the film IMDB style. Personally i take at least 50% of what I've read from that site, as well as myanimelist, with a spoonful of salt.

Eh, to be fair people moan about everything these days.
I enjoyed Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog with its silly humour, that had a great Robotnik. Carrey looks fun here and i haven't seen him like that for quite a while, probably since those personal issues.. So I'm still gonna watch it, and not pay attention to any sites like IMDB.

Still something feels off about it to me. Maybe it's because there's no ending and it''s just relying on expansions to add new stuff.

Still would prefer a stand alone Star Fox game.

Extreme violence & gore and they censored out the f word.. Yeah that makes total sense.

I hardly think it matters since so many people use the f word you'd think it's going out of fashion these days. Kind of sad when you think about it, people have small vocabularies.

Screen isn't high enough res for eyes being pressed up against it.

Lets be honest here, memes are pretty much stupid to begin with. The majority of them aren't funny, disturbingly at least half of them seem like they're made up by adults with child like thinking.

Physical is usually going to be best, that's how i like my anime.. physical = mine, and better than streaming quality.

Also best for resale purposes.

The only digital only games i have are on PC via Steam.

The problem i have with a Pro Switch is it needs to be a proper mid gen upgrade which all current games can benefit from, not just new ones. Not like the new 3DS which was almost pointless.

I hope it has good online. For other stuff like NES games i honestly don't get why there aren't simple game rooms, with lists showing each game, go into main lobby etc.. and games in progress or ready to start listed at the top so you can join in or chat in the main lobby. Basically like Wireplay was in the late 90's on PC, or even Gamespy. Can't get simpler than that and no idea why Nintendo seem to make it difficult to play/communicate with others.

I'll probably get this but i really hope they fix the exploits that were possible in SOR2 at least, where you could grab enemies and take little/no damage through the whole game.

Anyone else that really doesn't see the fuss with Smash? I feel the same with Pokemon. I really don't get why both are so popular but whatever, at least i learned that just because something is popular doesn't mean everyone will think it's good.

People say it wouldn't be a fair race if Sonic was on foot, so.. did anyone forget that in the original 2D games that all characters ran at basically the same speed?

At least i think Tails did in Sonic 2.

People tend to bash movies no matter what (IMO) I've seen some films rated in the 6.x-7.x range on IMDB and thought they deserved higher scores, even though those scores are classed as average 6 to 7 good, even the odd film rated in just the 5.x range seemed underrated.

Of course just my opinion, and everyone has different taste of course. But it made me not to fully trust scores for films at least.

As for this film I've no clue how it will turn out.. When i first heard Jim Carrey was playing Robotnik i was a bit surprised, Jim isn't the same person as he used to be.. Not like he was in Liar Liar, The Mask and Ace Ventura anyway.

@link3710 I enjoyed DKR on the 64, so I'll probably get this.. since it has an adventure mode.

Got my physical copy from ebay today, paid when the 10% off code was running, still not cheap for this kinda game but still worth it.

Nice, will probably get this and haven't played this one yet, already got Monster Boy ordered too. Had as many physical games as i can since when eventually the online service shuts down you won't be able to re-download digital purchases. Best for resale too.

The sexual undertones really stick out in these games too, at least they did a bit in Risky's Revenge anyways.

Personally i think Anime is better than FG at least in terms of sheer adult content, and it's usually not just random garbage. Not sure what the writers of FG are up to but half the "jokes" are either weird or plain not funny, though there are some few exceptions here and there.

FG just tries a bit too hard to be funny, repeats unfunny stuff too often too.. i think South Park is better written tbh.

They should either get the rights to Conker or make a game similar to it, you know.. for the adults, i mean the regular platformers like Mario etc are for all ages, but an adult game would be nice since there's literally no others like it really.
