"Will you be keeping this one out of the reach of your children?"
With the amount of what sounds like 10 year old kids I've heard playing older teen/adult rated games.. I'd say not.
In fact I'm getting rather tired of hearing them screaming over the microphone, they only pick up on foul language by small minded trolls/morons half the time anyway.
Why parents let them play such games that's so inappropriate for them at their age i have no clue. Probably no brains.
I also had thoughts that Nintendo could have packed away higher texture qualities into the game cards, reason being: once a successor or upgrade comes along with more power, the game could run those higher res textures too.
Shame they can't do that for many games because of card size/cost limitations, it would also be ideal if DLC itself could auto copy to the physical game card as well.
A minor revision is completely pointless IMO, if they want a proper mid gen upgrade they need to make it more powerful to notice the difference.
And if Nintendo has any sense then the next system will be fully backward compatible to run games at higher res etc, but then even the mid gen "upgrade" should do that, but if it's a minor upgrade and not like PS4 Pro or the One X style upgrade, then it's not worth talking about.
Love how people would rage hard if it got a 7 score, but suddenly a game is amazing if it gets an 8, seems plenty of people can't count if they think a 7 score is bad.
Besides how often do you see scores vary across sites? It's quite subjective, taste in games/films.
The cutscenes with the Starfox characters in them is really good IMO, but something about the game play is very un Starfox like. It's obviously because it's not a Starfox game i guess.
It does show the potential a proper new game in the series could have though.
Really don't know what to think of Starlink itself, seems like there's not much music going on and mainly just sound effects, i feel like there's not a lot of action going on at times.
Starfox has always been about constant action.. Hopefully a new proper game is made in the series.
I haven't played it, but i thought this game got 7's, unless it got lower scores elsewhere.
6 is average, 7 is good. And then you have to account that taste differs from player to player just like films. So you can't really trust scores too much, i learnt that with IMDB film ratings.
I get the feeling Fox was thrown in, or being put in for the sake of it..
They should do a new proper Star Fox game like the originals, and they could have also ported that Wii U game with the motion controls removed for us to play in the meantime.
Looking great if they really did get rid of the vehicles.. now please, online play.
People can't tell me that Mario Party would be too long a game to play online, i had games of Worms Open Warfare 2 on the DS last around 40 minutes or so at times. Anyway they could just limit the amount of turns for online play, or change boards slightly so they aren't as big just for online mode if they are that concerned about it.
Love that anime style, looks great will definitely get this.
Really enjoyed Monster World on the Megadrive when i was younger too. Hope there's decent challenge spread out as well, Monster World went from like 5 to 10 on the difficulty scale on just the last boss alone.
The gooseneck things work really well, i got one in a sale a while back. It does put a bit of a grip on the sides which did concern me a little, but it doesn't seem to be a problem, at least i don't think anyway.
@OorWullie each to their own but I've learned not to trust all reviews, in fact sometimes the minority have more accurate opinions on how you may feel about a game/movie, rather than the majority who may bash it for silly little reasons.
That's just my non sheep following thinking busting out, but as always everyone has different tastes.
Not saying there can't be something that's completely bad, but when you reach good scores of roughly 7, that's the point it can be a bit muddy, and may well be something that you really enjoy and think it deserves a higher score than given.
Tbh i take criticism with a pinch of salt these days, especially when some people seem to think that 7 is a bad score, because they forget that opinions differ and one man's 7 can easily be an 8 for somebody else.
I've seen a few TV shows/films that deserved higher than their given score, especially with anime.
I don't play "follow the sheep" i try something for myself to see if i enjoy it, not decide i hate it if others do. Unfotunately that seems to be a theme these days, with some trolls deliberately giving something like a 1 star rating on sites like IMDB.

Re: Video: Here's Your First Look At Star Fox's Wolf In Starlink: Battle For Atlas
The scene of Wolf eating an arm, instantly reminded me of DBZ..
This game though, it just doesn't feel like Starfox, too bad because the cutscenes and voices are great. Always liked the original 64 voice actors.

Re: Super Mario Party On Switch Appears To Make Use Of Nintendo's Recent Multi-Screen Patent
First MP game i played was actually Mario Party 1 on the N64.. i enjoyed it quite a lot even though i mostly played it by myself.
It would be a big missed opportunity if there's no online play. Still hoping.
