Nobody was excited for Rodea, so why should we be excited now?

Rodea felt like a miss to me, I can’t say I’m excited for whatever this new project is.

I still wish he didn't left Prope,his own developer studio.I loved Rodea the sky soldier,bought all 3 versions.A Switch version, based on the original Wii one, would have been amazing.

Honest opinion here: I think Yugi should just go work with Nintendo at this point. The dude has quite a few cool ideas, but because of his legacy most other companies wouldn't consider imposing their company policies, leaving his ideas without question or polish. Nintendo is likely ample enough to tell him "Don't do that," enough that a game like Rodea can actually be good.

Everyone wants him, because his legacy, but no one wants to scare him away.

Excited? Not particularly. Sonic has only had a couple of good games and Yuji’s adventures since leaving Sonic behind haven’t exactly been exciting either.

But sure I’m curious in what he’s up to, but we’ll just have to wait and see if whatever he’s doing is good and if it even ends up on the Switch.

Since Sega is not working with Square Enix, all the previous IPs don't have apply. It is an original action game, so lets just hope it closer to Sonic or Nights than Rodea...

because he doesn't really have any action games and sonic games bar the first few are terrible, so his work has been pretty awful overall, well... bar phantasy star

Forget he helped create Sonic. He was part of the Phantasy Star 1 team. That's more important to me. I'd like to see a game with the original Phantasy Star line up. Alis, Odin, Myau, and Noah.

Would be nice to see some non-Sonic-the-Hedgehog-games from this man.

To bad that his other games never were as popular as Sonic. Although there are much better, at least in my eyes. This goes for Sega in general. They have so many great IPs: Nights, Skies of Arcadia, Billy Hatcher, Panzer Dragoon and all of them got over-shadowed by so many awful Sonic games.

Wonder if that SA remake will go ahead, i could go for an overall more challenging game and nice graphics.

A Final Fantasy Sonic would be nice but since it's an action game I hope it's Brave Fencer MuSonic or Parasite Amy or Knuckles Hearts or Chrono Tails.
