It's fine. It's hard to call it horror because every single thing ends in a joke. I personally had it as a 4 out of 5 star movie until the end dropped it to a 3. For context I think Weapons was the best movie last year so I am a Cregger fan

Sometimes I feel like video games need 2 review scores. If a game gets a lower score than some fans want they say, "you should've got someone who likes the series to review it". But on the flip side if someone loves Fire Emblem and was dying waiting for it to come out they might not be critical enough. I want a "are you expecting to love this" score and a "are you an outsider wondering what the hype is about" score

Blah, just like basically every direct the last 3 or 4 years. Do you absolutely love every nerd JRPG that could ever exist? Great, you'll be the happiest person in the world. For everyone else, too bad, maybe you get one game to be excited about every 5 or 6 months. Metroid should be good at least and Ocarina looks good.

I was extremely disappointed in the lack of movie information. They couldn't even show 15 seconds? Or talk about more casting than Link and Zelda? There's a movie coming out called Wild Horse Nine that I first saw a full trailer for on March 22nd, that movie doesn't come out until November. 7 months and they had a full trailer. They can't even tease the Zelda movie?
I am excited for Ocarina of Time. Young Epona was fun to see

As someone who has only played 4 I would say it's actually a great game to just jump into. I think everyone knows MGS has stupid ridiculous storylines so if you go in already knowing it's nonsensical even with the backstory you can enjoy a game that is great to play

I don't trust Sega to make a well optimized Switch 2 game at all

2D Metroid is so much better than 3D and maybe with the mediocre reception of Prime 4 Nintendo will realize that.

MGS4 is the only one in the series I've really played, outside of a bunch of hours of 1 on a PS demo disc. I really enjoyed it but never got into the others

I imagine a lot of devs would like to know when Zelda is coming out and the possible maybe Metroid game. Who knows, this game might have just moved into one of those windows

Part of me wants to get the NES switch 1 controllers just for when I play Tetris games. The switch 2 pro controller is still not good for it and actually holding the system to play it also feels worse than on the switch 1

Pikmin definitely fits the Minions/Angry Birds type vibe if Nintendo lets them be voiced

As long as it's 2D it's an instant buy. The only real Metroid games

Star Fox Adventures where you are not in the plane the whole time is the only fun Star Fox game. Had a Beyond Good and Evil type vibe. The others are just basic arcade flight shooters, like a 3D Galaga. Not very interesting and to literally do the same game that came out almost 30 years ago is only catering to people who liked it the first time. There's nothing modern about the actual gameplay

The thing that I never understood is why more people don't hold the controller on the left and right sides regardless of they are using the d-pad or the analog stick. If you are a super young child holding it in the middle for the analog makes sense but as a 13-year-old it's not a far stretch

Better art and better box art I think are 2 different things in this case. The NA one is better box art

@the_beaver I've beaten OOT at least 5 times. Star Fox is a remake. Rayman is a remake. The Kingdom Hearts games other than 4 are just reissues. Minecraft has existed forever. Tomb Raider and Metal Gear sets that are not new. Wii Sports Resort is basically a game that's already existed. Multiple other games that have been out on other systems. Zero Mario games in a year and a half at least of the system's life. Might be 2 and a half if they don't get one until 2027 holiday. Who knows when a new Zelda. I love Nintendo because I love Nintendo games, but I want actual new ones

Don't want to see Star Fox or Rhythm Heaven at all. Star Fox already had it's own direct and both release so soon they don't need even a mention. Need something good announced because the lineup has been terrible and is incredibly thin in what they have announced already

Need something I'm interested in to be announced, please. Would prefer even a weird small new Zelda to an OoT remake but I'd still get that. Fingers crossed for no more dang jrpgs since that's all the switch 1 got the last 5 years. Don't want to go 2 years with bananaza being the only great first party title

Story is crazy underrated and maybe the next in the list. If you just eat whatever fruit you see then yeah it's boring, but it's got depth of trying to only eat melons. That sentence may not sound compelling but it gives it way more depth than most Yoshi games

The FromSoft mentions that come up in reviews really concern me.

As someone who doesn't play hitman games I'm not really excited for this one yet. Seems 100% like hitman with hair and maybe less killing. I do not care for that series' character designs and animations. Feels stuck in the 360 era

I think a lot of you are missing the point. It's not Fox that they really want to promote, it's that they want Glen Powell to be able to do promotion for the movie. You don't pay whatever he costs and then tell him he can't say he's in it until after it comes out

Played thru twice on PS5 before stating a Switch 2 run. The most noticeable difference is the load times, even on my base PS5 are basically zero and it takes some not insane but not zero amount of time to load on S2

4 is the only metal gear game I've fully played and it was very good

@Aswannsong where did I troll? I gave it the score of an ok game and listed a few of it's many flaws. Trolling would be "0/10 this game sux!" You and @dreadfuldragon are attempting to put me down without any defense of what I said. That makes you more troll like. I bought the game because I saw it get high review scores with no mention of all the problems. Even if someone doesn't think those problems detracts from it I wish I knew about them before I spent money. I would expect a 9/10 or 10/10 game to not have so many annoying things in it's gameplay, at least if it's not a story driven game which obviously this isn't.

Maybe they find an easy way to just swap out the hair textures in the future instead of the really bad downgrading they currently have. But that's such a minor thing when you're actually playing the game outside of the cut scenes. Definitely look good enough to play and it's encouraging they are already getting these results at the beginning of the console's life. Obviously it's going to look better on the PS5 but no one is ever playing the same game on two consoles side by side so you never need to worry about the slight downgrade

@AlanShore I beat the game. And I've played and beaten many Metroidvania games, so yeah I'm qualified to have an opinion on this game. It has many obvious flaws overlooked solely because it's from a 3 person indie developer

This game is a 6/10. The penalty for death in the early game is enormous when you are most likely to die. They make you not only buy the map, but you also have to buy a pen to add more to it, which is annoying but fair enough. But if you are going to claim that's more releastic then having to equip a badge to know where you are on the map is so dumb. If you don't know where you are then you couldn't add more to the map! You do a lot of work to try and get weapon upgrades that are pretty much worthless because the game scales the enemies damage every time you upgrade. What's the dang point? Stupid game design.

There are 3 games I'm interested in and 2 of them, RE and Indy, I was excited about before this. Seeing previews for Pragmata this week put it in on my radar. The rest are pretty trash to me. If you are a tactics or especially rpg fan than you've been living the high life with switch for 3+ years. I'm begging for more action games

I understand key cards, even though they only exist for people who hate the planet, but code in a box is the worst thing in the world. Then you just add plastic waste to the world without even having the benefit of being able to pass it along to another person to use one day! Should honestly be illegal

I am so sick of JRPGs being the big focus at every direct for the last 3 years I'd like some good games. At least we get Resident Evil and Indiana Jones this year. Interested to see what 007 looks like

They should make Mario Bowling. It has to BY FAR be the most popular Wii and Switch Sports games. Make some different powered balls and some crazy pins that do different things, maybe some kind of lane hazards. That would be a blast.

@cvrator I think Nintendo would argue BOTW is still just BOTW and this is Wonder + Bellabel Park. Either way I don't think this is worth $20

The game doesn't really interest me either way but what a nothingburger comment from Nintendo. No one would possibly think Nintendo is changing someone's game themselves. But saying, " your game won't meet our guidelines without x and y changed" is pretty much the same thing. I do wonder if the blowback will make Adhoc make a non Japan version with the censorship as an option instead of forced or if it will put them off Nintendo entirely.
