Interesting opinions on here about how much hype a nearly year old game that fell off the public scene a month after release deserves.

I didn't finish the Shinobi demo but what I played was pretty dull and certainly didn't make me feel like a ninja. Ragebound, even at 30fps, feels quicker and snappier.

Is so weird that for the last few years my PS5 has been miles better for action games than the Switch/S2 and the Switch has a billion dang RPGs i could not care less about

This is not last minute. They certainly plan all of these well in advance. The strategy the last number of directs, not counting the Switch 2 reveal or game specific ones for MKW or DKB has been to announce them the day before. This is right in line with what they've been doing.
Also crazy to say Nintendo doesn't have much this year, when in a 6 month period they'll have Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, DragXDrive, Kirby Air Ride, potentially Metroid Prime 4, and while not exactly first party a Pokemon game. I have a PS5 as well which I enjoy and I think Sony literally has Ghost of Yotei and nothing else this year

Can we get Indiana Jones?

On the one hand it would be nice if the other VAs knew they were being replaced (though I'm sure if they really cared about the role they would've realized it before launch), and on the other hand it's not like these characters have a ton of dialog so we're not losing iconic performances

@Toastmaster the Wii U's external hard drive support was awful. Even at the time it was hard to know if what you had would work, the system couldn't power it even with using both USB ports on top of that. It's made buying a hard drive for one these days basically impossible because no one sells externally powered drives now and barely anyone did at the time

Is the article "best" or actually "every single switch 2 case with no distinction on which are best"?

Here's an enticing reason, the plastic won't be left on the planet for hundreds of years after you die.

Miyamoto is like Steven Spielberg. Media forms need people who can tap into things that will resonate with the majority of people.

He's making a product and he wants it to be the best product it can be. We would be so lucky if everyone making a product thought that way. If the main focus was creating art they wouldn't make enough money to stay in business or employ people

You can put WW ahead of Chibi and I wouldn't fight you if you had Sunshine ahead of it,but nothing else on this list comes close. I think people may start to realize the entire F-Zero catalog stinks and there is a good reason they don't get made anymore

Sometimes you have to take away people's choices because they hold on so hard to the past they won't even try new things otherwise

I never understand why people say, "this game is broken" for things like this

@DwaynesGames twice I logged in, won my first match which gives you 100 points so you instantly unlock the theme and then turned off the system. It’s crazy because I only have like 11 wins total.

A government working for people instead of corporations wouldn’t let this happen.

Not taking the time to make it would have been a better decision than making it and charging $10 for it

I mean, 2 years out basically is a goal, not a set date

I’m looking forward to the game but that was not a good trailer. So slow in the pacing and it’s starts with ‘scan everything to get doors to open’ and ended with ‘use telekinesis to open doors’. Love door opening gameplay

They have too many different apps

Of course ebay sales are higher. A store isn’t going to give you what it sells for, how would they make money?

It would make ZERO sense to launch it the same day SF Nintendo store opens. You’d want that running smoothly, know you don’t have any point of sale issues, etc, before doing a system launch

It’s more likely it doesn’t get a Switch 1 release than it is that it doesn’t get a Switch 2 release

I need someone to tell me how to enjoy Hollow Knight. I love metroid style games but HK is so incredibly annoying at the start. When you die it’s such a big punishment it puts me off playing further.

Nice to get thru 20 questions and have the page reload and get rid of my progress

The thing about the bezels is, to me, it’s super noticeable side by side but if I’m playing a game I’m looking at the screen not the area around it

Busted out the WiiU to play a little tropical freeze and my god this system is almost unplayable. The loading is awful.

Probably the laziest port of a game no one was clamoring for Nintendo has ever done

System has sadly become WAY too much of a JRPG machine the last few years. And the crumbs Nintendo gives those of us not interested are like 'here's a Donkey Kong game for literally the 3rd time'.

Not 100% convinced Metroid comes out this year. I’m sure they want it on the next system so maybe it launches with it, but we’ve only seen a small amount of it once

Loaded release schedule, lol. 3 games and no one who likes those franchises would need to buy a system to play them, so that’s not going to help them move more systems

So many bad choices made at the start of this. Dr. Mario has absolute bangers and they give you the game boy versions. No punch out which is one of the most iconic Nintendo songs ever. The Zelda songs are just the ocarina short clips or whatever is in the Switch games which are the least music centered ones.

Played this on PS5 and it was bad on there as well. Froze multiple times when I’d try to use the outside the book powers. The actual game itself left much to be desired as well

I am playing on PS5 so I can’t speak on the Switch version performance but the game is not very fun. It’s charming but there’s not much actual game to it

I’d have gotten it on the Switch anyway if it wasn’t free with the PSN plan I’m on

Interesting this is just the refresh console price. What will the PS6 cost?
Also inflation pricing comparisons are so dumb. If you asked someone in 1995 or whatever to come up with $250 it still seemed reasonable. The actual number still weighs into the value proposition in people’s minds. I wonder if consoles will find a way to be like cell phones where you get people paying on installment plans with upgrade options every few years

Chibi Robo at 47 is insane. Top 10 GameCube game easily, maybe top 5

I can’t imagine there’s a large group of people to whom, “the same game but with commentary” sounds appealing enough for a double dip

@Coxula it is wild how people act like he’s not one of, if not the top, greatest 80s arcade game players of all time.

I honestly expected a lot more times to be glitch related because when I did the events I hadn’t seen the news about Nintendo stopping you from doing so many. While it still felt unfair when i saw this i also never expected to be super close to the top anyway.

The best Atari games were made by Activision and they are really the only ones that hold up at all

Absolutely insane price. I’m kind of confused on who this release is even really for. It’s not a bad game but i can’t imagine a lot of people are desperate to play it again and most of the people who are probably are the kinds of Nintendo fans that still have a wii or wii u to play the original.
The only thing that makes sense is that Nintendo realized if all their remakes are $40 then the vouchers have no value
