Has anyone played this on Switch? Does it run okay? I'm conflicted about where to purchase this one.

I just finished my list of indie games... My wallet is bleeding.

If this isn't the first of its kind, I'm not expecting any announcements. As for June, I could see anything being released in August being small-ish and just announced on Twitter.

@Ryu_Niiyama I feel that as well. Even when I feel like I'm putting a dent in my Switch Wish List, more games come along to bloat it.

Has anyone played The Pathless on Switch? I know it started as a PS5 game, and I'm curious how it runs on Switch. That's a pretty steep downgrade.

@Axecon I want to play it so, so, so freakin badly, but I'd rather not use my crummy laptop.

This game is hitting all the buttons for me. I'm sold.

@Shepdawg1 so then all I'd need to do is pay for Pokemon Home in the future after linking the accounts?

@Shepdawg1 don't you need to pay for it to get Pokemon Transfer? That's the service that moves Pokemon from the DS games, correct?

Alternatively, if you're a prepper like me, now's the time to start stockpiling money for the enviable Switch eShop closure! (Although I will admit a large part of it is waiting for sales on a lot of the more expensive titles on my wishlist.)

@Ade117 that's the biggest thing that's making me contemplate buying the MK8D Booster Pack when I have the NSO Expansion Pass. Hopefully, they just keep the same eShop for whatever comes next.

@dkxcalibur I'm kind of over it as well. It's been an exhausting year, and at this point, it's all kind of the same stuff, especially since a majority of the games on it are available elsewhere. I only have maybe one game I'd pick up, but I have yet to check if it's available elsewhere yet.

You can download Wii U stuff after it closes, correct? I had to delete the Xenoblade Chronicles X QOL DLC to make room for everything else, and I'm not in any shape to be able to buy a Y-cable and external storage.

I ADORED the demo for Sea of Stars, so that's a Day 1 purchase for me. I might not be able to play it then, but I cannot wait.

@Deviant-Dork it just looks so, so simple. Not in a bad way, but I just haven't heard anything about the Switch port.

If you're like me and only really want stuff that isn't preserved on other consoles, the Ace Attorney games are locked on 3DS.

@Erigen while Square is a large part of the problem, it's also important to call out Bandai Namco for their insane inconsistency in their re-releases. For every Katamari Damacy REROLLED, there's two more like Tales of Symphonia Remastered, Baten Kaitos 1+2 HD Remastered, and Klonoa (which is good, but it comes with the guilt trip of having to buy it for more).

@MJF I mean, you are better than them, and they know it.

I'm tempted now, if it's a big improvement. Might still wish list it, and grab it on sale.

I ADORED the demo, and I honestly feel like I'm not done with it in order to justify this at launch at this point. If I pick up a game in the very near future, it's this or Tales of Symphonia.

@Leostacks the bit of gameplay I watched did give me some massive Earthbound vibes. I can completely see it being a massive nostalgia hit, even if it isn't the best.

@CazSonOfCaz I'd still like to know what draws other people to it so that maybe I can begin to appreciate it for what it does.

I would hope they have a reason for why it's $70. If it's on a new cart that can hold it, then sure. If not, then I'm concerned for the future.

I'm spreading these out since they're surprisingly heavy, but I do plan to pick up Theatrhythm, Tales of Symphonia Remastered, and Kirby at some point. I still need to buy Bayo 3 before even considering Origins.

Is this getting a physical release?

@RaphaBoss it leaked when Engage did. Of course it's old. Nintendo wouldn't have a reason to announce it any time soon.

Unless the main DLC expansion is the remake?

Are people going to ignore that there are a bunch of underage characters who probably shouldn't be in anything but a platonic thing with Alear? How is that a localization complaint?

@DDFawfulGuy I also think the gender-less pronouns are probably to make things easier for the localization team. That'd be a lot to do to basically have two transcripts where the difference is he/she. Same with voice acting, even if I think the NOA team needs better voice acting directors.

@Shiro28 basically whenever people say something's "woke," it's because they've taken something that is traditionally full of white men and made it more diverse to reflect what society actually is. In this case, having characters who are black. Having queer-coded characters. Using gender-neutral pronouns. Having same-sex couples. Trans characters. People who say things are "woke" are only saying it for that reason. Apparently, this makes FE:E "woke," even if there are a handful of minority characters.
