Re: Talking Point: So, When Will Nintendo Announce Its Next Console?

@Bizzyb You're completely forgetting that part of those 5 years included COVID, and we have no idea what the Zelda team was doing with that time. Nintendo seemed to only really focus on ports and externally-developed games in that window. There's also no way that they keep it as tight-lipped as it's been. Literally every other system had something leak. Shoot, Fire Emblem: Engage had a significant info leak months before it came out. Nintendo is ALWAYS secretive about Zelda development, especially new titles, so this is nothing new. There is no Switch 2 in 2023 at all, and definitely not in May. If anything happens this year, it's the first leaks of the successor.

For my money, it's late 2024-2025 at the earliest. The Wii U was a completely different beast when it came to the Switch's reveal.

@Lizuka I second Mario Party Superstars DLC. More boards feel like it should be essential.

I really liked the demo, and while I haven't picked this up, I feel like part of the reason Nintendo does this is so more people can be like "Oh yeah, I wanted to pick that game up." I know I'm one of them. However, I do agree that full price is insane for some of these. All three sports games should have been $40 AT MOST. It made Mario Tennis a lot easier of a sell, and I really enjoyed my time with it.

Re: Ubisoft Subject To "Cyber Security Incident", But No Player Data Was Compromised

@Fizza If this is a response to Ubisoft's mistreatment (and even then, that word seems super mild here), then Activision might be next. If I remember correctly, their skeletons came out of the closet before Square released that NFT email or Nintendo announced the eShop closures.

On a side note, all these abuses mix together, and I might be wrong about the order of things. It's mentally exhausting.
