@Zeebor15 Thank you, and Good on Atari for at least doing some publishing of their own still. Like, Yars Rising was a normal release and I got that right away. I have NOT played Atari today, but I should correct that error. 😂

@Zeebor15 Oh that's great news then! Thank you for clarifying that for us all. 🙂LRGs website has it as a numbered release, which usually means it's exclusive. But as we sometimes see, some "exclusives" end up going regular retail ages later.

@jojobar Except for Cyberpunk. The rest were mostly ports of stuff most people have already played. Also, keycards aren't helping.

@Lord People will continue putting themselves into massive amounts of debt cause most people will justify anything for special occasions like the holiday season. S2 should easily hit 15M by March 31st 2026. All it needs is to average 1.1M for the next 8 months, and holidays always spike sales.

Everyone, don't expect much from EA on Switch 2. Activision will finally bring COD back, it'll do fairly well, and make EA/BF even less relevant to Nintendo players in the process. EA even makes Ubisoft look good... Now that's saying something. 😧

@N00BiSH The continued, incestuous relationship with LRG is really hurting the appeal of Wayforward for me on a personal level. Shantae as a series is still really good, and I really want to get Advance (albeit on a modern platform like Switch and NOT via LRG directly), but ugh, it pains me greatly. LRG is such a terrible company.

@Fiergala Toronto never had any really iconic skyscrapers, save maybe First Canadian Place? But it's hardly a household name. Mostly just generic looking office towers. That's no secret. We do however have a ton of very famous other landmarks that aren't skyscrapers, like High Park, Casa Loma, The Distillery District, The Roundhouse, The UofT campus, The Brickworks, Ontario Place, the old TSX building, to name some. What we need is a skyscraper that looks like a raccoon, then we'll get noticed. 😆 (we already have a library that looks like a turkey 😉)

Edit: There is that stupid One Bloor Tower being built. It's a BILLION dollars in debt already and way behind schedule. While it'll likely be iconic, the very project is a complete and total ridiculous farce. 🤦‍♂️

@Grim Thankfully this is NOT a numbered release, it's a distro title, so what that should mean is that this game is probably going to be available at other retailers as we get closer to release. Hopefully. One less game held hostage by the terrible LRG is always welcomed. 🙏🥹

It's instantly recognizable, what with the iconic CN Tower and the Skydome right beside it. I'm not deeply in love with toronto, I'm just stating the obvious. Gamechat also includes just voice, which everyone seems to be forgetting. I'm sure Devs could restrict camera usage to free up more RAM. If every other platform can have voice chat built in, isn't it time Nintendo had the same? No need for some BS app or hearing background sound filtered through my phone will be a godsend.

@DanijoEX-The-Kumiho Physical media sales, be they games or film, is down across the board. We have sales data to back this up. DVDs are still made because they're cheap and presumably still profitable enough to warrant them, but physical is a shrinking market. This isn't opinion.
Also many parts of the developing world never moved past DVD where they remain plentiful and cheap and the preferred type of hard copy.

LRG is garbage and a complete joke. If there's anything exclusive from them I want, I'll go through one of the indie stores who receives their stuff. It wouldn't kill them to do second prints of very popular titles. This fake FOMO business model is bull 💩.
