I recently bit the bullet and got a 2TB expansion card for my XSX, which is 33% more than it was 2 years ago. Justified it by telling myself next gen consoles will be 4 figures plus cross gen will last for years, so yeah... dark times. 😢

@gcunit I guess cause I always strongly disliked the multiplayer in the Tales games. The lack of it won't be an issue for most. Sucks for the few who want it.

Also, that's an apples-orange comparison. A port of a retro classic compared to lack of an upgrade path between S1/2. It is insane it isn't available. The MP mode from Tales should be included, but it's not an issue for most. I'm just happy to see it remastered.

The lack of Switch upgrade packs and consistently, especially from Square and namco is insane at this point.

I imagine many of the games we're playing today have AI in them, and we're not even aware of it. Not defending AI, just making that assumption since the tools are easily available and companies are hellbent on saving a dime above all else. 😔

@DennisReynolds Asset quality. A game's file size does not determine its overall gameplay quality. If that was true, COD would be a yearly masterpiece.

These game file sizes are really getting outrageous. Combined with the manufactured techbroligarch AI ram crisis, it's unsustainable... 🤦‍♂️😡

@WhiteTrashGuy @BAN It's not the developers, it's the CEO/management class that only care about making the line and their stock price go up. Charge you more for less features, take away physical games, quadruple down on the same IPs and formulaic gameplay over unique, experimental ideas, and we have an industry in absolute shambles today, it's really no surprise.
A game like Deus Ex would never be made today, at least not by a major publisher. Too risky, too niche.

@Deadringer80 While hardcore gamers may have a PS3 still in the house, most have long moved on. Most sell their previous console to get the new one. PS3 hits 20 years old in November. It's retro at this point.

@LightSpirit In all fairness it would be easier and more accessible to play this on modern hardware.
