Nintendo should work with NetherRealm so we get some guest stars. It would be great.

Mario Fatality: Consumes mushroom, becomes giant and proceeds to stomp to death.

Bowser Fatality: Sets an opponent on fire then proceed to bite the upper half of their body clean off.

Link Fatality: Shoots the opponent with multiple arrows, runs towards them, jumps high in the air, and does a downward stab to finish them off.

Or slashes their body multiple times with the master sword, then proceeds to toss a bomb, exploding them to bits.

Or Link proceeds to thrust the master sword through the chest, rewinds time, and repeats this torture till boredom.

Ganondorf: Transforms into beast form, impales the opponent,, tosses them up in the air, then shoots a dark beam, wiping them away from existence.

@larryisaman From AAA games to indie games, not many rpgs have gripped me story wise.

I struggle with JRPG's because either the plot is too convoluted for it's own good, or the character's are usually teens which I struggle to get behind.

On the flip side we have western RPG's where alot of AAA games mostly focus on the same medievil fantasy tropes a hundred times over.

I already praised it the other day, but the only RPG that me excited with it's story was "Yakuza: Like a dragon". Every part of the story had alot of love and humor put that made me grin. Plus it was different. It wasn't some medieval knight going off to fight a great evil, nor was it an edgy teen who kills without remorse but suddenly doesn't wanna kill the main villain because of plot reasons.

The whole story was about family and brotherhood. The main protagonist is perhaps the most lively and fun hero I ever spent time with in any RPG's.

I guess what works for me is I'd like more Western RPG's to really think outside the box and not be scared to tell an offbeat story. Something that isn't cliched and predictable like BioWare, or Bethesda which doesn't even try anymore with their stories.

@TheSaneInsanity @VoidofLight @Maubari Alright, alright now. Let's settle down. Let me share a story if you will.

Back in my youth I used have such a cynical view of the world. While I could make some people laugh, many time I would go too far and ruin everything. I was an awful jerk to be around.

Back then I met a very special young lady who loved Disney. And I mean really loved everything about it.Why? Because it made her happy. She was terribly bullied and became an outcast. Finding solace in the world of Disney and falling in love with animation itself.

It changed my whole perspective on the world and the toxicity I was adding to it. So why am I sharing this story? Because all of you are right in some ways.

You are right you shouldn't befriend a company, but you are also right that a company can bring enough joy in your life that you are happy they exist. And there is nothing wrong with that.

At the end of the day the average higher up doesn't give care about anyone. But at the same time the products they make brings something wonderful to those who consume it.

I don't think most commenters here are that crazy. They enjoy a product that brings them joy.

@VoidofLight while there is nothing wrong with your comment, take head not to always be negative. There is more to a person and a reason they become attached to things than we'll ever know.
