@solarwolf07 Well I say give Link's Awakening a try. It's my favorite 2D Zelda of them all and no other has quite topped it.
As far as the 3d titles? I skipped out on OoT so I struggled to finish it but I did recently. I say try to finish it so you can get to Majora's Mask which has become my favorite 3d Zelda game of them all.
@batmanbud2 The development of the Oracles games is a fun read if you ever get the time .
I haven't played in a long time but if I recall Seasons is more action based while Ages puzzled based. Alot of I what read Ages is the stronger of the two.
@Truegamer79 Youtubers would review bomb youtube. Anyways im pretty sure there's fair criticism even within youtube for the game not being great that have nothing to do with feeling threatened playing as Zelda.
@Markatron84 That p***k is the legendary hero of time. A cursed boy who's every incarnation is faced with daunting task of saving the world.
No words are needed. No emotions shared. That hero does what needs to be done. He is Link. A nephew, a lost child, a brother, a protector of friends, and loyal soldier.
@Jamie64326 Yes, for me it is. I don't really feel like re buying generations all over again for a bit of extra story. But Im not hating. Im happy for Shadow fans. I even said the trailer was cool!
@ThatGuyWho All three characters are important and not a single one is more important than the other. All three characters is what makes Zelda, Zelda. Not just the princess alone.
I'm not personally interested in a Zelda focused game (kudos to those that are, im not bashing it). But if Nintendo is experimenting, then let it lead to me playing as the beast king himself.
Cool. All I have to do is take a 2nd mortgage out on the house, sell my car, shop around to see who's interested in a liver, and I'll have barely enough when the price is revealed.
Well Im not double dipping, but that trailer was pretty cool. Admittedly the only reason why I played Generations in the first place was because of classic Sonic only.
@BLD I'm upvoting you simply because you took time to explain your well thought criticism. I personally haven't played it, and don't intend to. Alas, I can appreciate reading peoples experience be it positive or negative.
@the_beaver Not my cup tea either, but then again I don't like tea. However I'll give this game a shot because I always enjoy when creators try to be bold, and ambitious.
@NintendoWife You know, I think a mad developer should seriously do that. Make a collectathon platformer where you must collect exactly one billion "x" to unlock the true ending.
@larryisaman From AAA games to indie games, not many rpgs have gripped me story wise.
I struggle with JRPG's because either the plot is too convoluted for it's own good, or the character's are usually teens which I struggle to get behind.
On the flip side we have western RPG's where alot of AAA games mostly focus on the same medievil fantasy tropes a hundred times over.
I already praised it the other day, but the only RPG that me excited with it's story was "Yakuza: Like a dragon". Every part of the story had alot of love and humor put that made me grin. Plus it was different. It wasn't some medieval knight going off to fight a great evil, nor was it an edgy teen who kills without remorse but suddenly doesn't wanna kill the main villain because of plot reasons.
The whole story was about family and brotherhood. The main protagonist is perhaps the most lively and fun hero I ever spent time with in any RPG's.
I guess what works for me is I'd like more Western RPG's to really think outside the box and not be scared to tell an offbeat story. Something that isn't cliched and predictable like BioWare, or Bethesda which doesn't even try anymore with their stories.
@Tasuki While I think such a deep hatred is strange, I don't think the idea of a fifth turtle is bankrupt. The character Venus just had too much going against her.
1. A poor background to explain why she exists
2. By the time of her arrival, Ninja Turtles was already waning in popularity.
@TheSaneInsanity Hah, I already know that. If you re-read my post, you aren't the target of it, but rather those who turned a simple article about a birthday into something negative.
I just tagged you, because you were right in some ways.
@TheSaneInsanity @VoidofLight @Maubari Alright, alright now. Let's settle down. Let me share a story if you will.
Back in my youth I used have such a cynical view of the world. While I could make some people laugh, many time I would go too far and ruin everything. I was an awful jerk to be around.
Back then I met a very special young lady who loved Disney. And I mean really loved everything about it.Why? Because it made her happy. She was terribly bullied and became an outcast. Finding solace in the world of Disney and falling in love with animation itself.
It changed my whole perspective on the world and the toxicity I was adding to it. So why am I sharing this story? Because all of you are right in some ways.
You are right you shouldn't befriend a company, but you are also right that a company can bring enough joy in your life that you are happy they exist. And there is nothing wrong with that.
At the end of the day the average higher up doesn't give care about anyone. But at the same time the products they make brings something wonderful to those who consume it.
I don't think most commenters here are that crazy. They enjoy a product that brings them joy.
@VoidofLight while there is nothing wrong with your comment, take head not to always be negative. There is more to a person and a reason they become attached to things than we'll ever know.
@ozwally Same here. Astral Chain was pretty good. I never played a plat game till then. Though my only nitpick is they don't do those custom character 2d scenes anymore. That part was too funny.
@MSaturn Eh, I don't know. Even still on the off chance both Sony and MS went away, as long as there is a market for consoles, another big company will just step in and take the mantle.
@-wc- I bounced off because it felt like false advertising. At no point was I playing as Samus in Transylvania hunting down vampires with my arm canon.
@the_beaver Nah, you aren't no one. You are someone because you exist. I wouldn't think your opinion was any less valid than if Taylor Swift had said the game is good.
@Qwiff Oh cool. You should. It tries to replicate the feeling of the movie itself. I don't what the remaster will change, but hope you're okay with a little old school horror fun.
I just want a new game based on The Thing already. We had one in the ancient times, but this is a new era. Let a new horror game based on a cult classic come to life.

Re: Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom: Walkthrough, All Puzzle Solutions, Collectibles
@Johnny44 Fair enough. I avoid all guides and just learn as I go along. I do get a sense of joy that i figured something out on my own.

Re: Review: The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom (Switch) - A Bold Blend Of Old & New That Ranks With The Series' Best
@B238ben The Switch just has issues. About every Zelda title so far as had performance issues. It's just the hardware.

Re: Mortal Kombat 1 Lands 'Khaos Reigns' Update, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
Nintendo should work with NetherRealm so we get some guest stars. It would be great.
Mario Fatality: Consumes mushroom, becomes giant and proceeds to stomp to death.
Bowser Fatality: Sets an opponent on fire then proceed to bite the upper half of their body clean off.
Link Fatality: Shoots the opponent with multiple arrows, runs towards them, jumps high in the air, and does a downward stab to finish them off.
Or slashes their body multiple times with the master sword, then proceeds to toss a bomb, exploding them to bits.
Or Link proceeds to thrust the master sword through the chest, rewinds time, and repeats this torture till boredom.
Ganondorf: Transforms into beast form, impales the opponent,, tosses them up in the air, then shoots a dark beam, wiping them away from existence.
Re: Sonic Adventure 2's Biolizard Is Getting A LEGO Set
@mpcsolyar17 Wooohoo. Now I can tell my family they can stay. Jokes aside, I hope Heroes makes it to Lego soon.
I would be very happy to a mini Neo Metal Sonic and giant Metal Overlord.

@Maubari @MegaVel91 @Snatcher @MirrorFate2 Lets work together and ask Sega to bring Sonic's original concept to life.
Im talking about Sonic the rabbithog. Hardware at the time failed, but we have the tech now to make it happen.
