@Elitepatriot Cheers. I had something I liked very much stolen too years ago. I can relate. But on the bright side, maybe now with the Switch, you get a second chance to try the game.

@Yalloo Oh wow, thinking of that reminds me something I didn't like about Twilight Princess. Many items were so dungeon specific, it was just extra baggage once the dungeon was over.

@Elbow Well don't wait too long to play it. I myself should give other the games a try if they were anything like the RPG. Only minor gripe with Like a Dragon is it's bit too grindy in some parts.

Rather that's good or bad, i guess depends on your level of patience. What got me through was the charm of the story and it's characters.

I haven't played the game in years, yet I recall every moment of the experience and still listen to the soundtrack from time to time.
Never had a JRPG hit me so hard.

Wow, a co-op single player game. Sounds good!

The only game I played so far in this franchise is "Like a Dragon", which was the first JRPG I enjoyed to the fullest. It made me want to stick around till the end with it's heartwarming yet absurd story.

It concluded with the first entry. A nice story and what if of two franchises. Everything else is just a mess of convoluted plots.

How unplucky for the Switch. Hopefully with some pluck, the devs will fix those issues soon. Cross your fingers for good pluck.

I think some thought is put into it, just not as much time focused on character designs and more time on gameplay mechanics. Needs balance of both.

@MrGawain There isn't any benefit to the PS5 Pro imo. The base PS5 is fine as is. Would have been fine for another 6 years. The thing just launched 4 years ago.

Hardware wise, it's powerful enough to get a good 10 years out before making a jump. Personally, for 700$, I can just buy a Switch or the upcoming Switch 2 and still have enough leftover to bring home a bundle of games.

We need a souls-like rogue-lite card based metroidvania game. That would be awesome.

When PS6 launches it will sell for a modest 899$. When the PS6 Pro launches it will sell for the low low price of 1199$.

So save up your pennies. You will need every cent for not only the game system, but also the games which will cost roughly 90$ minus the DLC of course.

Now all we need is Wario & Waluigi adventures.

@TotalHenshin It's amazing how many great games never made it oversees. Luckily, there are groups of dedicated fans who do English patches. Heck, some games I found out were already in English to begin with for some reason.

@anoyonmus The PS Vita is ahead of it's time. Heck, not even a Nvidia RTX 9999 graphics card can match it. And that doesn't even exist.

That's how powerful the Vita is.

@HeadPirate It's cool. The perspective of time is wonderful. A kid in the 80's couldn't imagine how much graphics would change in 90's. A 90's kid thought the same in 00's and 00's kids thought the same as of today.

It's been roughly 50 years since videogames first entered homes and yet how much they evolved is amazing.

@Tasuki We never did the crossover of Battletoads x Final Fight x Double Dragon x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but maybe one day.

In the meantime I look forward to this collection of games.

@HeadPirate Well to be fair, humans started it by creating powerful orbs to imprison Pokemon for the thrill of pitting them against eachother for human entertainment.

I can see where the want for destroying humans come from. But, Pokemon are just gosh darn adorable killers.

I never finished the first game. After the cool factor of killing robo dinos wears off, everything is just repetitive. The story is dull, and the characters lack any personality. There's no excitement to be found because everything is melodramatic.

Other than that, it's just open world tick boxes found in games from 10 years ago. It really is telling how little the needle has moved when it comes to innovation within the open world genre.

@Yoshi3 Easy. You place the main character in a castle with zero dialogue and watch him move left, right, up, down for 30 mins an episode till he reaches Dracula.
