Time to move on. You can still re-download your purchases, just can’t make new ones. Sony did this with Vita. Honestly, I move on as I am too busy with Switch and PS5 at the moment, and someday I will move on to Switch 2 and PS6.
Pretty sure those Batman listings are true and will be announced . just hoping that there won't be a lot of cloud based games, as I can't play those on the go. Would love a Mario Odyssey 2. Still waiting for NHL or Madden, come on EA.
You have a minority of gamers demanding physical releases or no purchase, then they give you a limited physical release, and people complain of prices. Can’t win. Physical releases are too expensive to make for smaller games. Time to accept digital releases .
Wow, thanks for telling us how much percent the games are off. How about doing the homework for lazy people Like me and tell us the actual sale prices?
Somehow I don't see an Animal Crossing gamer liking GTA games. I like GTA and I don't like Animal Crossing but I don't post how Animal Crossing is lame (to me) and how AC lovers should play GTA games. Why have an AC super fan post on this in the first place?
I tried playing Isaac when it was on Vita. Found it too hard for me, and then had to start from scratch each time. Games like Rogue Legacy are better because they let you keep some progress/experience each time you die. By the way, which Isaac version is this now?
I just want a couple of games. Nintendo should allow me to purchase a couple of download games, not subscribe to rent a bunch of games that I am not interested in.
With Sega classics collection that contains 50 games for 30 bucks, it’s harder to want to justify the Sega games here. And Nintendo doesn’t want people to own digital purchases anymore with the older games and would rather have fans rent instead. I would rather have the option to buy a couple of these individually for $5 to $7 a piece.
So funny that people are still into cartridges. All or nothing, hahaha. I guess some folks are going to be missing out on some games, while I replay these remastered classics on the go and enjoy every minute of it. I have been waiting for GTA games on Switch, so big yes for me.
They already have a new handheld, it is called Switch. How about using this productivity to bring AAA games to Switch instead? Not just remastered games. Having said that, wouldn't mind a Switch Pro or Switch 2 as long as it is backward compatible with Switch1 games.
Best GTA clone and best Simpson's game ever. Would love to see a remaster. Also release 2008 Simpsons from PS3 on current consoles and other older Simpsons games.
@Chowdaire #2 is Minecraft, not released in last month. I did mention Mario Golf. And let's be honest, if the 1st or 3rd party releases were stronger, the games you mention wouldn't even make this list in the first place.
A lot of old games here, speaks volumes that Nintendo has not offered anything great lately besides Mario Golf. And doesn't everyone have Minecraft at this point?
I was at work all day. Getting this now, how does this beast upgrade compare to the old Switch? Oh wait, next to none. 🤣 hilarious how the fervent cult like fans defend Switch here. I own Switch, One and PS5 , so I am not tied to blind loyalty here. 😜
Instead of doing Collections of let’s say 10 games for $20 regular price, they are changing $8 a pop. $3 regular price should be the max for each. Very overpriced for games this old.
As an owner of all 3 systems, Nintendo won E3, but still a very disappointing E3. Sony did not bother to show up. With Microsoft buying up every studio in it's path, you would think that they would have a bigger show, but rather disappointing showing. And then there was Nintendo. The most exciting announcement was Mario and Rabbids Spark of Hope, but that was announced over the weekend. Metroid looks kind of average. I thought that the Nintendo would have some AAA announcements, but most of their 1st party games have been average lately, not of AAA standard. When I bought Switch, I had AAA games like Zelda BOTW and Mario Odyssey . They should have ended with a Mario Odyssey 2 announcement. Last 2 years have been terrible. 2019 had Luigi's Mansion 3 and maybe Astral Chain. 2020 had Animal Crossing. It seems like Nintendo is coasting and has been coasting. And can we move on from Super Smash DLC announcements? And there is this disturbing trend towards Cloud games. Yeah, there was Covid but Sony somehow managed. Rest of 2021 looks kind of meh right now. Yes, yes, I have BOTW2 to look forward to in 2022. I don't know, I wanted to be blown away. I expected many more game announcements, but it ended up being about 11 games in total announced and that is including 3rd party games. Maybe I set my expectations too high.

Re: Soapbox: Dear Konami, Please Do Something Decent With Castlevania
I loved Lords of Shadow (the first one). Maybe they could remaster the 3 Shadow games.
Re: Review: Sherlock Holmes: Crimes And Punishments - A Superb Port Of The Best Sherlock Holmes Video Game
No comment on whether long loading times were improved for Switch. Xbox one version had some super long loading times.
Re: Spike Chunsoft Switch eShop Sale Is Live, Discounts Up To 85% Available (North America)
I love pixel junk monsters 2 but stopped playing because of super long times. Does anyone know if they fixed that?
Re: Nintendo Dominates Amazon's Best Sellers Of 2021 Gaming List
What is the incentive for Nintendo to release the next Mario Kart if 8 Deluxe keeps selling like crazy.
Re: Feature: Nintendo Switch Ports We'd Love To See In 2022
Would love to see NHL or Madden , even an inferior version. How about NHL 94 Rewind?
Re: Frogwares Teases A Switch Port Of Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments
Get ready for super long loading screens. Even on Xbox One, it took forever. But it is a super fun game to play
Re: Nintendo Announces Massive Sale, 1000+ Games Up To 75% Off (Europe)
I love when nintendolife posts how much the games are off percentage wise, but doesn't post the actual sale prices.

Re: Talking Point: Should The Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack Library Expand Faster?
I just want to play a couple of games on this service. I should be allowed to purchase separately, not having to subscribe
Re: Feature: All Five American Football Games On Switch (Yes, You Read That Right)
Shame how there’s no Madden or NHL on Switch. Not even NHL 94 Rewind, come on EA, make it happen.

Re: Talking Point: Do You Have A 'Way' You Play Certain Switch Games?
You forgot another option, play big screen with PS5, Switch for portability. You have an option but it doesn't take other consoles into account

I just want a couple of games. Nintendo should allow me to purchase a couple of download games, not subscribe to rent a bunch of games that I am not interested in.

Re: Poll: Metroid Dread Is Out Today On Switch, Are You Getting It?
You forgot another option : yes, when it goes on a sale 10 years from now
Re: Feature: Our Predictions For The September 2021 Nintendo Direct
Please no more Smash. Hope that portion doesn’t take up a chunk of time. Mario Odyssey 2 would be cool to see.
Re: Alan Wake Remastered Has Been Rated For Nintendo Switch
Probably a cloud version, if that, then will pass the Switch version.
Re: Sega Releases Its First Patch For Sonic Colors Ultimate On Nintendo Switch
Does it fix the allegedly super long loading? It is 3 times as long to load on Switch than Wii. Yikes

Re: Boulder Dash Deluxe Smashes Its Way Onto Switch This Week
I have fond memories of playing Boulderdash on my Commodore 64. I am old, lol.
Re: Switch Players Are Supposedly Encountering All Sorts Of Glitches In Sonic Colors Ultimate
This is supposedly so much worse than Wii U version including much longer loading times. How is it that Switch version is so inferior to Wii U? Yikes.
Re: Seven More Switch Games To Watch From Gamescom's Awesome Indies Showcase
Terror of Hemasaurus looks fun, but I wonder if makers of Rampage have a lawsuit here for the game looking too much like Rampage.

Not cloud? Actually digital or physical? If yes, then that's awesome.

Re: The Simpsons Co-Showrunner Would Love To See Hit & Run Return But Admits It's "Complicated"
@stipey Simpsons on TV targets adults and teens. The game targeted those same teens and adults, not children. It was perfect
Re: The Simpsons Co-Showrunner Would Love To See Hit & Run Return But Admits It's "Complicated"
Best GTA clone and best Simpson's game ever. Would love to see a remaster. Also release 2008 Simpsons from PS3 on current consoles and other older Simpsons games.
Re: Talking Point: What's Your Switch Game Of 2021 So Far?
Monster Hunter is the only AAA brand new game (s) so far on this list. Everything else is a port, remaster or niche
Re: Poll: Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Is Out Today On Switch, Are You Getting It?
You should have another option “ I will pick it up when it is at the super rare $39.99 sale price years down the road “
Re: Valve's Steam Deck Might Be The Closest We'll Get To A Switch Pro In 2021
So I can play Xbox pass games on it, Epic Store, steam games including Sony games on Steam? This might be the best handheld this far.

Re: BioWare Had Plans For A First-Person Mass Effect Game On Nintendo DS
$10.50 for a cartridge? Does that include the plastic case? No wonder companies prefer digital. I wonder how much a Switch cartridge costs?

Great news for the 1,000 people that still have a Wii-U 🤪

Re: Tekken's Kazuya Gets Added To The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Mural
I think Smash has had enough support. Time for Nintendo to move on to something else and use the resources on another game.
Re: Talking Point: Why Metroid Dread Will Be Worth $60
Nintendo knows that it has rabid fans , who will defend Nintendo at any cost. That's why theY can get away with a $60 price tag for this game.
Re: Another Cloud Game Is On Its Way To Nintendo Switch This July
This is a fantastic game for anyone who has not played it. I played it on PS4 Pro, really good. But cloud version for Switch? Yuck.
