Re: Nintendo's Investors Are Reportedly "Spooked" As Stock Slides

Dman10

I wanted my Switch 2 to be more powerful and able to play PS4 and PS5 3rd party games. And I got exactly that. I don't want gimmicks. But Nintendo has not released many first party games, that people will run out to get Switch 2 for. They need a brand new 3D Mario game or something on that level, system sellers and they need a new Direct to get people excited.

They need a new 3D Mario ASAP. Tennis doesn't exactly sell like hot cakes. The only current first party game that I am looking to get is Bonanza. That's is for current 1st party games. I am actually more interested in 3rd party games like Assassin's Creed, Cyberpunk and Resident Evil games.

Re: Pokémon Pokopia Is Seemingly Nintendo's First Game-Key Card Release

I don't care about Pokemon but I don't see game key cards as an issue. Sony and Microsoft are going that way too. All 3 companies would only do digital purchases only if they could, but they want that physical storefront presence especially during Christmas present buying season. These game card releases are not for everyday gamers, but for clueless parents/relatives who want to put something under a tree. This is a perfect solution.

Re: Nintendo Is "Acting To Protect The Industry" With Switch 2 Game Key Cards, Says Ex-Capcom Composer

If the game is available on a game key card, people complain and claim to boycott that game. But when a game is available only digitally (not physical or game key card), several break ranks and purchase the game as evidenced by Silksong. I think that the game key card is more for brick and mortar store presence than anything else. More of an advertisement. Yeah, some games like PT might be taken off the digital store, but that is a small percentage. And I will be too busy playing Switch 5 or PS8 to notice.
