Assassin's Creed Shadows on Switch 2 and Psychonauts 2 on PS5

Amazing games. I did like the first one better.

@PRIDE_ I don't mind the Blizzard account requirement or that it is on a key card. Always online requirement on the other hand makes this a skip for me, as I am not always online in handheld mode.

I play a lot on the go outside an internet connection. Does this game require a constant online connection?

Hopefully they will have some 1st party games for 30% off. I have a couple like Bayonetta and Metroid games that I am waiting for a sale to purchase.

@PurpleG thank you for your help. Turning off HDR worked. I can see normally in handheld mode and makes the game great now. Ubisoft should alert within game to recommend changing it for better experience. Thank you again

Many like me have been waiting for a new 3D Mario. That's the leak that I honestly want to be announced the most during the Direct.

I love AC Shadows in handheld but playing in the night setting is so hard to see. I will be purchasing the new Black Flag but I hope they fix the night setting for this one

I wonder how Switch 2 version will compare to PS5 version. I will have both upgrade versions on both but have not really played either. I do play games more on Switch 2 handheld mode these days.

Wow. I was hoping for Witcher 3 Switch 2 edition. I picked up the Switch version digitally when it was on a deep sale. Glad I held off playing it. Cannot wait. Free for a significant upgrade where first party game upgrades cost $10. This is great.

This game is meant for parents to be able to buy something to put under the Christmas tree for their child. May have to buy a memory card too. That's all that it is. It's not meant for physical media collectors.

Still waiting for EA to release NHL on Switch. But thinking that it will never happen. I would settle for NHL 94 Rewind.

I like these ideas except the pixel graphics. That's for Indie games. I want Metroid to push Switch 2 to it's limits in graphics.

I loved this game. It can be hard but it does have an easy setting. Highly recommend it.

@Olderion US is not innocent when it comes to landfill and pollution. They export landfill overseas and have products created overseas where there are less pollution controls and laws. We could also be better at reducing population by having programs to encourage it. But people would be up in arms about it . We are slowly destroying Earth. Most of us are very individualistic so by the time we try to do something, it will be too late.

@TrogdorTheBurninator I am pretty sure that after the cost of making a physical release, the profits are minimal. I could see why this 10% of the market would be irrelevant to stock holders. Someone has to pay for shipping and handling, the plastic case and the expensive game cartidge. Let's not forget that 3rd party vendors like Amazon and Best Buy also want their share of the sale. Add lost revenue to the used game resales that the publishers never see a dime of.

@Anti-Matter you should be worried about plastic waste. You are from Indonesia, one of the most populated countries on earth which has some of the worst pollution and landfill/waste problems.

Switch 2 is the best handheld that I ever had. Runs circles around Switch 1. I play it every day and it is my preferred system to play 3rd party games. I have a PS5 but barely touched it since I got Switch 2, although GTA6 might change that.

@Pillowpants I have a PS5, but I love playing AAA games on a handheld, making Switch 2 a great purchase. These would have been great on the go.

@Toastmaster Some of us own another console in addition to Switch. I have a PS5 and a Switch 2. It is easy to portray another console maker as a villain to justify owning only that one console.

I would to be purchase some of these as a digital purchase without having to subscribe to NSO.

@Ganon821 While I don't have a must have AAA first party game this year so far, Switch 2 has the best 3rd party support this year, probably best in over a decade or more. You need to sell your Switch 2 right now and take on another hobby if you think that it's a dead weight.

I hope that they have a Switch 2 update for Witcher 3

I honestly still can't see the difference between 30 and 60, so I am okay with it.

I hope that digital version is cheaper than the physical version. I should not have to subsidize the cost of physical release by having to pay same price.

@Krlozgod you do know that you can delete and re-download games? 1TB can hold tons of games.

You all can act outraged, but when that future new Mario or Zelda game is digital only, many of you will eventually fold and buy it. Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo all know this. Rockstar can do a code in a box, because they know people will complain but will ultimately buy it.

I loved my PSP and Vita. I ended up getting a Switch 1 and now Switch 2 after Sony dropped out of the handheld market. I love my Switch 2 games and some of first party games like Mario and Zelda. But I also love games like Uncharted, Last of Us, and Infamous. I am very much interested if a PS6 handheld hybrid comes out

@Kilroy I don't chase scores. Usually one playthrough is enough for me. Although this game would be ripe for open world or should I say Universe. Like the DLC for Star link except with a much better storyline and graphics.

@jsty3105 why you sweating about Switch 2 going offline in 30 years? We all will be too busy playing Switch 7 to care or notice. Plus we don't know how healthy you or I will be, or if we are alive 30 years from now. Just enjoy the games now.

Isn't this super short? I heard 3 to 4 hours long. Review mentions the length issue but does not include it as a negative in final score.

People can complain all they want but this is going to set records. I can see Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft watching closely and doing this type of release for their future first party games. A new 3D Mario game with digital code will still sell like hotcakes.

PC has been digital for a long time. Surprised that consoles took this long. I personally prefer digital over physical, but ultimately buy whatever is cheaper. Reselling is a pain these days.

Graphics look so nice. Runs circles around the ugly Switch 1 version. Sucks about the no upgrade option but definitely a huge improvement.

You forgot to take off your nostalgia glasses when rating these. And how can the superior version of Sonic X Shadows Generations Switch 2 version be lower than the Switch 1 version? Because of no upgrade option? Should be rated on the game itself.

I like the new design. Bring on the best graphics for Zelda yet. Could be a showcase for what Switch 2 is capable of.
