Why does everyone just want updates on games we already know about? I want newly announced games that no one knows about.

Yes, loved it on PS2. Almost got it on PS4, will be great to play on the go on Switch. I was beginning to wonder why THQ Nordic wasn’t announcing more games for Switch.

Spyro Trilogy on Switch. I am stuck in getting one of the dragons in Spyro 1, so I moved on to Spyro 2. Also playing New Super Lucky’s Tale on Xbox One. And still trying to get PS5.

I never got a chance to play Last Story, and I no longer have a Wii. They don’t have do a remaster but a straight port would be nice.

The fact that Nintendo Life finds this game mean spirited, makes me want to play it more.

@Mr-Fuggles777 It is free on game pass, but if you have the Xbox but don't have game pass, how much will it be a year from now compared to Switch version? also, it is probably on game pass for a limited time.

Somehow I sense that at some point the Xbox version will be cheaper than Switch version even though it coming to Xbox much later. Love that Switch tax.

I want to know the actual numbers of the units sold, not just that it is number 1.

So much hate for Sports games here. There are former PSP/Vita owners who jumped over to Switch because Sony didn't have a follow up handheld. Those folks, me included, may be more interested in games like Borderlands or Madden. Personally I want NHL to come to Switch so I can play it on the go.

It is interesting to to see how the most fervent Nintendo enthusiasts defend mother Nintendo at any cost. It is like the abused spouse syndrome. I have a Switch, and this this a crappy move by Nintendo by taking down Super Mario 3D All-Stars on the digital store. People defended Nintendo before saying, don't worry, these will probably be sold separately on the digital store, you'll still be able to get it. Now, the defense is, of course they are going to take it down, they did say it was limited. I don't want to feel rushed to buy a game, I should be able to buy it on the digital front when I am ready to buy. And there is no copyright issues on Mario games, just a bad move by Nintendo to try to rush folks to buy it now for full price and to drive up resell prices on cartridge version, which then make Mario even more desirable for future games.

Should have a list of these for Some of us who are too lazy to watch the video.

NHL on the go would be great

Binding of Isaac Rebirth is $15 on PSN and Xbox regular price. $40 on Switch. Yikes, that's $25 more.

@GamingFan4Lyf on Switch? Or just on PC? I ask because I don't game on pc even though I have one.

Doom is on "sale" for $30, when it is $20 regular price on PSN PlayStation store. 😂

This article mentions that per PS4 trophies, only 49% completed Fallen Jedi. That is actually a high completion percentage. But it makes me wonder if this is why Nintendo doesn’t want trophies, maybe they don’t want folks to know how many people actually complete a particular game.

That is because Nintendo did not have a huge lineup of AAA games (not including remasters) and they wanted to entice folks to buy Switch (not including diehard Nintendo fans who will buy anything from Nintendo) and to show longevity of Switch.

So when people complain about lack of original new games coming from Nintendo, are we now going to count this lackluster looking game as one of the originals?

Doesn’t Nintendo have a separate Direct for Indies? That would be great to follow up the main Direct next month.

This is only for the first 6 months of 2021, so BOTW 2 and Metroid are not going to be mentioned.
What I want:
Mario Odyssey 2 announcement
Zelda HD collection
Exclusive GTA for Switch, or Rockstar games. Really would love a AAA game (like Call of Duty or GTA) that is geared towards the adult audience.
Batman Arkham Collection

What I don't want but which we will probably get:
Another Pokemon or Smash announcement (Nintendo mentioned another Smash DLC but it is time for Nintendo to move on to something else).
Cloud based games.

I heard that the Switch version is much worse than Xbox/PS4. While I usually prefer to play in portable mode on Switch, this may be one I end up playing on PS5 ( when I am able to finally get hopefully at some point in the next couple of months).

I hope that there are not too many announcements of cloud based games.

Thinking it did not do well on Switch with the cloud edition. A good portion of people accept digital downloads , but thinking that cloud gaming is not that popular.

SW Bounty Hunter was fun on PS2. Bring that over next.

@Anti-Matter Ty3 was published by Activision, but Krome actually owns it. And Krome released Ty1 without Activision, and is re-releasing Ty2 shorty (again without Activision)

What I really want from EA is NHL, Madden and Mass Effect trilogy on Switch.

I would rather see Madden on Switch. Not a cloud edition, even if it is a downgrade.

I love how the diehard fans are giving Nintendo a pass on not having Directs anymore. I, for one, loved them and miss them. There was something for everyone in each presentation and would get me excited about Switch’s future and give something to look forward to.

There should be another poll, which one is the easiest and which one is the hardest. I had struggled with the second half of Mario U Deluxe. I had to play a bunch of levels as Nabbit. Maybe it is my age as my reflex is not what it used to be.

It will probably be cancelled on Switch or it will get another cloud version.

I don't mind digital download games but I try not to support cloud games. I am trying to get a PS5, and will most likely pick it up for PS5 at some point.

@stinky_t Zombi is not that great. I played it on Xbox One and found rather boring and average looking graphics wise.

The majority of these made their way to Switch. Outside of the Zelda games (which could at some point also come to Switch), there is no reason to own Wii-U. I would like to see a Batman Arkham Collection on Switch.

Glad I did not pick it up on PS4. Feels like this will get more time spent playing on the go.

I would instead prefer the original Plants vs Zombies that was on the phone. I had it on Vita and it was a blast. Would revisit again on Switch (I don't play games on the phone).

This game was announced in 2017. The way it is going, maybe we will see it on Switch 3.

I don't mind digital games, but I really don't like this trend towards cloud games if rumors about RE3 are true.

Scott Pilgrim is awesome, rest is trash. In the last 3 weeks, there have been over 40 games released but only 2 or 3 were good games. Must be this time of the year to dump the garbage games.

Wow, there's people here who actually bought a Wii-U. Jokes aside, I think this more meant for the Switch folks that did not own the Wii-U. And maybe for some Wii-U owners to revisit on Switch with new content.

@Christofu Last of Us 2 was made by Naughty Dog and Ghosts of Tsushima was made by Sucker Punch Productions. Sony owns Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch, so it was in-house development for both games. Not like a 3rd party like Capcom that made these games.

I know that Covid impacted game development, but Nintendo seemed to have gotten lazy this year after New horizons came out. I am not counting the Mario remasters. Sony managed to release two AAA games during COVID: Last of Us 2 and Ghosts of Tsushima. Might be hard to believe but not everyone loves new Horizons. Nintendo is at the top right now, I hope that they don’t get too complacent. I miss Nintendo Directs; I hope that Nintendo has some killer announcements this year.

$3.99 should be the regular price, not the sale price.

Wow, 18 games that are average or below average. Last week was the same.

PS5 would have more sales if more units were available. I have been unsuccessfully trying to get one since it was released.

I wouldn't mind if Sony or Microsoft merged with Nintendo. It would mean less consoles to buy.

I play . I now find collecting odd, we all have short life spans, just enjoy the games. When you are gone someday, your loved ones will sell off your collections or they will end up in trash. I used to collect when I was younger, but as I am getting older, I no longer collect and just enjoy the games.

Is this a good acquisition? I mean Next Level doesn’t own any original IP. They are awesome at making Nintendo games but employees come and go. I guess that they have an established environment to make games.

@NTELLIGENTMAN I did say one or two games are actually worth playing. By the way, Gradius 3 was a great game for it's time and I could never get far with the insane difficulty, not sure I want to play it again, now that my reflexes have slowed more with age.
