Re: Feature: So, What Happened To Super Mario Galaxy 2?

Dman10

I want Mario Galaxy 2 but I am more disturbed this collection is only available until March even on the digital storefront. Why would Nintendo do something like that, to make people buy this game in droves? To drive the prices and demand high? Terrible idea.

Re: Round Up: All The Games From The Nintendo Indie World Showcase - August 2020

Dman10

Finally, this is what most of us want, directs to let us know as to what to expect. This was a good Indie Direct. Now if we can have a Nintendo Direct for first party games and also AAA games from 3rd party publishers 😀. heck, just give me updates on what they already announced. Keep me updated, it makes happy to look forward to Switch’s future

Re: Nintendo Indie World Showcase Announced For Tuesday 18th August

Dman10

hmm. WB is announcing something Batman related for tomorrow. It could be info on that new Batman Court of Owls game, which Switch would not be powerful enough to handle. Or maybe they could announce Batman: Return to Arkham for Switch, which includes Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Would be awesome to revisit those on the go.

Re: Switch Software Sales Are Comfortably Beating The PS2's, The Best-Selling Console Of All Time

Dman10

More than half of Switch owners have played Animal Crossing New Horizons. It is a resounding blockbuster for Nintendo. Nintendo should not forget that some folks might not like New Horizons and have something else in addition to Pikmin for the rest of the year. I would love something new (1st party) besides remastered/deluxe editions, but I will settle for those rumored Mario remasters.

Re: Talking Point: Is Nintendo Making As Many Games As It Used To?

Dman10

The big problem from Nintendo is lack of communication. Nintendo has a huge blockbuster seller this year: Animal Crossing New Horizons. Problem is that they presume everyone should be happy with it and they think they are done for the rest of the year. The other big game was Paper Mario, which seemed like a smaller scale game. They need to tell what they have planned for the rest of this year and for next year. We are days away from August. Sony managed to just release two huge games, and have PS5 on the horizon. My suggestions for Nintendo:
1) Announce Mario 3D remaster/port game announcements, Pikmin 3 and street date for Metroid Trilogy Remasters. Maybe drop a Luigi Mansion 1 and 2 Collection.
2) Don't just rely on remasters/ports, they should be complemented by AAA games. Is there anything on the horizon for AAA games? Mario Odyssey 2, BOTW 2, Metroid Prime 4, Bayonetta 3, Mario Kart 9, something unknown? When?
3) Have a mind blowing announcement from a 3rd party. Something to rival Witcher 3. Maybe Nier Automata, Kingdom Hearts games (all of them), Persona 5 (not some spin off game) and others.
4) How about a 3rd party exclusive for Switch and not just a port? Maybe a Switch exclusive of a new Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid or Tomb Raider to take advantage of Switch. It could be an exclusive spin off game like MGS Peace Walker. It needs to be more than one game.
5) Buy a 3rd party developer or even two. Bring all that developer's games to Switch and announce an exclusive.
6) How about having a best of collection of old games (2 volumes with 10 games on each volume). Yeah, you can get some on Online, but actually be able to buy them.
7) this is unlikely but I would love NHL and Madden on Switch on the go.
8) Have an actual Nintendo Direct with tons of these announcements.

Re: Poll: Did The Nintendo Direct Mini: Partners Showcase Meet Your Expectations?

Dman10

Seriously. Origami looks so so. Nintendo thinks everyone loves Animal Crossing New Horizons; well I don't like that genre and don't like Pokemon as well. So, not much for me out from Nintendo. Where are the updates on Bayonetta 3, No More Heroes 3 (and maybe 1 and 2), Metroid Prime, BOTW 2, etc? What about the rumored Mario Remaster games? How about something new altogether? What happened to those EA mystery games? I would have loved a surprise announcement of something akin to Borderlands 3, Nier or something else. How about Mario Odyssey 2. Please tell me you got something up your sleeve the last quarter of this year. I want to be excited about Nintendo's future, don't wait until 2 months before release to tell about the game, I want to know years in advance.

Re: Watch: Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase July 2020

Dman10

Did I miss anything? Did the announce release dates for Bayonetta 3,Doom Eternal, and No More Heroes 3? Did they drop a bombshell like a Nier or Borderlands 3 announcement? How about those mystery EA games? Or maybe Mario remaster announcements even though they said they wouldn't. Hope it is not another Bakugan disastrous announcement with some DLC or some obscure game with a small following. 😉

Re: 'Reverse Horror' Game Carrion Slithers Onto Switch This Summer

Dman10

@Reigestugatensho I jumped over from PSP and Vita to Switch (my first Nintendo handheld); those Sony handhelds had more games geared towards me. I have been in heaven with Borderlands, Bioshock, Witcher 3, Saints Row making their way to Switch. That is what I mean by rated M games. Carrion will be a perfect fit for my taste. Maybe GTA and NHL will make their way to Switch (my dream handheld games). Because there is no Vita successor, adult gamers like me have made the jump to Switch. Sorry, if we invaded your PG based realm.

Re: Review: XCOM 2 Collection - Firaxis' Stone-Cold Classic Makes The Leap To Switch Intact

Dman10

@MrMichaelJames I agree , I am also I also in mid 40s. I can't keep up with the constant deluge of new games, I don't revisit NES/genesis/PS1 days unless it is a port, remaster or remake. I have Nintendo Online but barely touch NES/SNES classics. We watch movies digitally and listen to music digitally. I don't see a big deal with digital games. So what, some game gets delisted, I will be too busy playing PS5 and Switch 2 by that time.

Re: Review: XCOM 2 Collection - Firaxis' Stone-Cold Classic Makes The Leap To Switch Intact

Dman10

@StevenG Are you sure? I can re-download Burnout Paradise on PS3 (but never got the DLC so can't speak for that). I can also redownload games like Duckales Remastered and Simpsons. On PS4, they delisted Deadpool, Lego the Hobbit, yet I have them and can re-download those even though they don't show in the store. I just did that with Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy which I just downloaded it to my PS4 (even though I purchased it a long time ago). That is also not showing in the PS Store, but I am playing it. It has to be the same account that you made the purchase on. If it doesn't show in the same account in your game library, you can also go through your download list on your PS account on a PC, and you can find your purchases and push them to your PS3 or PS4 to download. You won't find them just by doing a search. You have to go through each purchased game (which can be a royal pain if you bought a bunch of games).

Re: Review: XCOM 2 Collection - Firaxis' Stone-Cold Classic Makes The Leap To Switch Intact

Dman10

@StevenG When you get a new PS3, you can still re-download your games as long as you use your same account. They might not show up in the store and are no longer available for sale; but if you bought them, they will show up in your library (I have a PS4 and PS3). It doesn't work for only a handful of games. Thinking that either you are not aware of it, embellishing a little bit, or not being truthful.

Re: Multiple Amazon Listings Hint At Unannounced Switch Games From Several Major Publishers

Dman10

Maybe Switch will finally get Fallout 3/NV games? That would be neat. Didn't Bethesda in the past talk about possibly bringing Evil Within games to Switch?

For Capcom, hmm. It is very likely a port, but of what? Devil May Cry 4? Maybe Resident Evil 2? I would love a Viewtiful Joe Collection but thinking unlikely.

For WB, please bring Arkham Batman games over. A Collection of the first two would be awesome.
