😆 what a joke! Just get a GB Boy Colour with an EZ Flash Jr. and you're good to go. This kind of junk is made for sitting on the shelf of some fat youtube videogame virgin
Suddenly everyone is in love with motion controls when they hated the whole idea back in 2006. This game is not new or innovative and it's going to cost more than the original because it's a limited run 😆 but hey if you wanna keep wasting your money on old Nintendo games that have been on ebay for the price of a latte go right ahead
A fan hacked Mario 64 about two months ago and added a bunch of quality of life improvements to make it play more fluidly, and I'm already playing Sunshine and Galaxy on my Wii in HD for free. Nintendo please do keep up
Repackage resell repeat. Why make new games when people will pay for the same mediocrity just because it's in HD now? No need to create a new Mario Kart on Switch hardware, let's give them the same game and never bring down the price!
The GBA versions of SMB2 and SMB3 are easily the best versions, while SMB1 and SMW have whole websites dedicated to fan hacks that are better than the original games. But don't tell Switch owners that 😆
Calling it Mario World 2 was a stupid cash grab by Nintendo. They were trying new things with Mario on Mario RPG and Mario Kart, Mario & Wario and Mario Excitebike, but Yoshi was a popular enough character to have his name be the only one on the box.
It made you think you were going to play a Mario game where you hold Y to run and do spin jumps and beat up Koopas. It had almost none of that and should have been promoted as a new kind of platformer like DKC and Kirby Super Star.
I really enjoy the music, especially the intro. The game design is fantastic and once you get used to Yoshi's physics it is a blast to play and transform into different stuff. The egg throwing is fun and works when you get the hang of it. Is it the best Mario game? No because it's not a Mario game. It's still great though.
And anyone b1tching about 2D Zelda needs to seriously consider another hobby.
@retrotheigyer_77 The Homebrew Channel on the Wii has all that plus romhacks, free fanbrews, and FREE ONLINE. What a novel concept, right? NOT charging people to use their own internet to play games.
You would think with all those billions Nintendo is making, they'd invest some cash to make a decent online system that doesn't suck. Windows 98 had more customization than the Switch lol
Would be great if you could play a 5 minute demo of these games, but yeah the Wii eshop was waaaaaaaay better organized and had music!! Also it turned your Wii into a retroconsole with games from SEGA, TGx16, Neo Geo, N64, and MAME. And yet over 10 years later with billions of dollars in the bank the Switch is looking more and more like a giant scam hahaha
Quick! Make a role-playing game with no story, where your character gets no EXP points after battles or party members to join him with a system reliant on turn-based combat. Also no funny mustaches or hats on any characters who can only come from one "world". Go! It sounds like a gofundme challenge more than a Nintendo game
Gotta love modern gaming. $60 bucks for essentially a test release with no manual or any cool stuff that came standard only 5 years ago. And forget trying to beat the game without downloading 2gb+ of essential DLC. Hahahahahaha
Oh please let it be an instruction manual oh pretty please let it be something that was standard with your video game purchase 10 years ago (crosses fingers)
I wonder if it will have Bluetooth so you can use an 8bitdo Zero as a 2nd player controller.
The GB Boy Colour is more appealing to me if only because it's a full-on backlit GBC, but with my giant hands the only portable emulation device worth a damn is the Saitake 7007f.
Still got my copy of Soul Caliber 2 on the GameCube with Link!! The full grown Ocarina Link not the stupid girlie toon Link from Smash. Such a great game. Also got Tetsunoko vs. Capcom and Guilty Gear Accent Core X on the Wii. So many great fighters NOT for the Switch
The timing/combo system has been done much better on Xenogears, not to mention that game is miles ahead of Mario RPG. This thing though, screams of freemium touchscreen crap. Super generic and uninteresting design, horrible grammar on the presentation... It's Mexico, they don't need 40k to make this game a reality.
Go and play the Super Mario 64 in Ocarina of Time hack. That game is like 10 kinds of awesome. And don't get me started on 2-player Mario 64, Super Mario Bros 64 or Mario Oddysey 64
2020 easily. When you have 50 million hungry fans that you know are just sitting at home dying to play something new and exclusive, maybe with a well developed online component (lol) and you give them refried leftovers, a farming simulator and Donkey Kong Country... Thank God I never bought a Switch.
A lot of the "latest" games are ports or remasters that were more fun on their original consoles. This is why I love emulation. More money for quality of life improvements like driving a luxury car and drinking good beer
I have WWE Day of Reckoning 2 on the GameCube, which is basically the sequel to No Mercy. It looks and plays way better than that marshmellow wrestling game.
It's times like these that I'm happy emulation exists. I can finally play 1000 Year Old Door, Superstar Saga and the fan hack of Final Fantasy I with Mario characters...and remember a time when this series was worth looking forward to
To unite all peoples within our nation! To denounce the evils of truth and love! ... Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light! Surrender now, or prepare to fight!
You're better of just downloading games nowadays. Somehow physical copies are an event and download codes can cost up to $50 for a game that still has DLC and microtransactions. Such bu115h!t and everyone just accepts it. Now we got fans making their own manuals because game companies are too cheap to print anything.
So glad romsites and emulators exist. If a game is just information floating on the internet then I'll just bypass the middleman and go straight to the source.
I have over 60 Gamecube games sitting in my 128gb usb drive connected to the Wii. So nice to play games I never owned without even having to insert a disc or take up much needed comic book and action figure space 😉
Super Tecmo Bowl Bubble Bobble Kung Fu NARC Recca Summer Carnival '92 Mega Man CX Sonic the Hedgehog NES Demake Guerrilla War Power Blade 1&2 GI Joe Pauline in Donkey Kong with all 4 levels
Awesome, a bunch of NES roms jumbled together are now a $20 game. I'm sure they won't milk this by making 2 collections totalling about 4mb because they just can't fit all that awesome in one cartridge?
They jump from the late 70s to the early 90s with nothing in between. No Return of Invaders or Infinity Gene, which are easily the best Space Invaders games of all time.
