Re: Mini Review: Dr. Mario 64 - Diagnosis: A Bit Rubbish

DasWunderkind

Saying this is the best Dr. Mario game is like saying the 77' Gremlin was the crown jewel of the series. Sure, you're technically right but it's not really an accomplishment.

Ms. Pacman Maze Craze, Bomberman Arcade, Puyo Puyo Sun 64, Magical Tetris Challenge are all far better and more interesting puzzle games. Dr. Mario is the same damn game on every console.

Re: Nintendo Switch Online's N64 Games Need Some Work

DasWunderkind

Got a free N64 from my girlfriend and picked up an ED64+ with the entire N64 library including romhacks. All for the $60 and it's all mine! No going online or worrying about frame rates or badly mapped controllers.

And you're paying how much to rent them? ๐Ÿ˜„

Re: Court Orders Popular ROM Website To "Destroy" All Of Its Unauthorised Nintendo Games

DasWunderkind

All the best romsites are still running strong, so who cares? Emulation is cool until people start pirating or copying games that are easily purchased at any big brand store and even some smaller ones so Nintendo has every right to do this.

But games like Zelda: Ancient Stone Tablets, AM2R, Pokemon Prism and Super Smash Remix are still easy to find and download. As long as Nintendo stays away from the homebrew scene and lets us download their NES, SNES GB/GBC/GBA, N64 and GC roms then let them waste their money suing trolls in a sea of them ๐Ÿ˜„

Re: Metal Gear Creator Hideo Kojima Is "Afraid" Of A Future Without Physical Media

DasWunderkind

For me it depends on the media. When it comes to music, I prefer high quality digital played through high quality tech, be it a good car stereo or Bluetooth headphones.

For books, I prefer physical as I like to have the thing in my hand and turn the pages, not to mention the sweet smell of a fresh new copy of a comic book I've been waiting for.

For games, I emulate everything on the Wii but use the actual controllers for each console. I also own about 50 physical games for it but rarely open any of them ๐Ÿ˜„

SMB3 stage 1-1
Mario Kart 64 Lugi's Raceway
Mega Man 2 Metal & Flash Man's stages
SMW Level Yoshi's Island 2
Ms. Pac Man 1st pink maze
DKC first stage
Super Mario Land stage 1
Sonic Episode 4, stage 1-3 sunset
Super Mario 64 1st bobomb king mission

Some of these are perfectly designed and really get you into the groove of each game's mechanics. Super fun and classic games never get old ๐ŸŽฎ ๐Ÿ“บ
