The world's a mess right now, so why not end your week right by enjoying the simple things in life - just like these Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle-themed GameCubes.

They're not official, as you might expect, but are in fact the result of a restoration project. Twitter user and retro shop owner @2ButtonHero is responsible for the cool little collection, who says that they're now "far better to look at" than how they were in their original condition.

As you can see, each 'Cube has adopted the colouring of one of the four turtles.

It's never nice to see an old games console finally bite the dust and have to be thrown away, so if you have a broken machine sitting around at home, why not try out your very own customisations?

We recently shared the work of a fan who transformed a broken NES - and then a SNES - into a working Switch dock, or if your DIY skills are as bad as ours, perhaps simply repurposing an old Wii Fit board as a way to weigh gas canisters is more your speed?

Have you ever tried to do anything fancy with your consoles at home? Let us know in the comments below.
