@RupeeClock while it isn't an exact fit, it's exactly what's happening in Ireland with Sports Direct; there's a gaming section in most SDs and an online component through their website for ordering games (although it's still in very early stages). I imagine in the event they convert to this model, the "GAME" brand will just refer to the department that handles the gaming section of whatever Frasers Group website it's in.
@NFrealinkling chibi-fied posable figurines that come with a multitude of different parts. Very good in terms of quality, but mileage varies depending on what's being converted (e.g. aniem characters get dimensions reduced). Kirby generally looks very good in the style because they're already a small character.
Thought we were long beyond the days where NL posted about random rumours with no evidence that claim "unreleased game might come to Nintendo platform".
@Lizuka That's literally the whole point, Toby said anything after Chapter 2 will be released when the whole game is ready (i.e. no demo for Chapter 3 will arrive before Deltarune releases).
@LexKitteh literally no evidence to suggest that TPC decided that was the way to remake DP, and considering that GF's previous remakes did way more than "faithful" remake (with ORAS and LGPE actually trying to match the styles of the flagship titles), it doesn't seem likely that it was anyone other than ILCA that pushed for this system. You can certainly bet they trapped themselves in that corner. If the fanbase is very happy to blame Game Freak for the issues that arise when their titles are released, it makes no sense to not blame ILCA for the same.
This author has progressed from outright advertising specific YouTubers (simultaneously claiming they aren’t biased), to writing a whole article about a random YouTube short they watched (presumably to disprove that bias). It’s definitely working.
@Olliemar28 so you're going to ignore the countless times they've antagonised the very company they've previously worked with, as well as the numerous lies they've concocted, all because your site clearly has a bias for them?
Grabbed 5 and will probably go back for more at a later date (got what I thought were the hot-ticket ones early - Sonic, Pikmin, Rosalina, Wario and Diddy).
As usual, putting your own April Fools' prank in the "best" pranks of the year is not only ego-stroking, but also factually incorrect. At least it wasnt as bad as that "movie" prank you did a few years back (that ye've also deleted in the meantime, thus making it infinitely harder to prove it ever existed)
@Westlondonmist in the UK, it actually got lumped into the Amazon Spring Sale by accident (wasn't officially on sale, but was included under the Video Games section). That and the fact it's £23 new (half the price of the other titles) pushed it up.
@somnambulance FC24 is on sale across both physical and digital (80% in the PSN store, also part of the Amazon Spring Sale). It's not really that much of a shock.
Why do Nintendo Life insist on giving these has-beens more and more spotlight, when they’ve previously shown how unreliable they are? Their speculations range from bog-standard predictions that everyone else has made, to outlandish claims of harassment that Nintendo themselves had to step in to actually confirm what happened.
@RupeeClock actually, the comment that replied to you is right, in a way. The subsequent updates for that cartridge actually forced you to download the data for the DLCs, even if they already had it. I have both Shield (from launch, with the DLC purchased) and Sword (from the Complete package) and both have in-or-around the same amount of data on the latest patches.
@MysticX In fairness, that's what the last "Complete" edition of Pokémon did (the updates that followed release forced a download of the DLCs, even if they were available on the cart).
I'll be the contraband and say there's no issue with multiple presentations, but this wasn't at all acceptable as something being bigged up. Everything revealed today was part of a title or series that had already been announced, with every game having a very similar presentation to the other one (we already knew about Paldean Winds, and the Path to the Peak was covered earlier in the year when they announced multiple new Pokémon short-form series). Its a complete joke that 2 minutes was given to the only new title (Detective Pikachu), 20 to the mobile games (most of which heavily rely on microtransactions) and the remainder dedicated to a 5-minute ScarVi DLC trailer, followed by an 8-minute overview of that same trailer (most of which was dedicated for a DLC that won't be out for months, and too little on the one out next month). In an era where there are multiple titles expected to at least be acknowledged (Mystery Dungeon, Snap 3, a new Legends game that adapts any region - and can even incorporate the Paradox Pokémon in unique ways than ScarVi), getting the same old drivel is tiring and pathetic.
Question is will the Switch version support rollback? The way device treat it, it ranges from impossible (Rivals of Aether) to not technically feasible (FighterZ - although ASW have proven that to be true for every other platform as well) to limited (Nick All-Stars) to "yeah, we got it working no problem" (MK11).
@Orpheus79V love the whole biased comment even when it's trying to claim its not. We're actually seeing equal performance across both systems, with only unique cases for performance better on one than the other (although that is usually PS5). "More powerful" is very narrow-minded as well, the console has 1 extra Teraflop but we're at a power level on both devices that's so high that it doesn't really matter in practice (plus the PS5 storage method makes the overall loading experience faster on the platform).
Game was on sale for Amazon Prime Day for a significant discount (less than £15 on current-gen), and sells on every platform, that’s why it’s so high this week.
Everyone here wondering about the usefulness and critical reception, forgetting that this was announced at the same time as the Pokémon app to help kids brush their teeth. Quite literally no reason to look that deep into it. We're not the target audience, just another demographic.
@GoldenSunRM Europe had it when the game was released, it took ages for them to go out of stock too (LA Link went out almost immediately, everything else took a week or 2). You just missed it.
Very much a last-gasp sale. Games have been out for nearly 10 years, and(based on the sale prices on other platofrms) is a clear attempt to obtain more money than their current valuation (at the lowest discount, buying both games and their DLCs would be less than $10.)
@iDidSomething the stretch goal advertised it as "paid DLC" that would be free for all backers (aka an imcentive to back it), and considering everything else that went wrong with the KS, it's just another slap in the face to anyone who backed it.
@Cashews all we've actually learned is to not back the Kickstarter of a company who could afford to do it regardless.
This is a deceptive article. This isn't at all for "saving" money, it's just a quick-and-easy attempt by NL to get money by advertising a "deal" (like €3.50 is that significant of a discount). Shame.
Priorities on this site seem to be all out of wack. The sale was announced yesterday as part of Indie World, yet it was posted AFTER the news story on the Advance Wars reversible art.
Outlier of the supposed "challenge run" aside (can't verify whether it was true), the remaining content was about modded content. Unfortunately, PointCrow drew the public eye with the multiplayer mod announcement (especially with the claim he not only offered a bounty but provided funding for the team), which also attracted Nintendo's attention. The fact he deliberately funded an unofficial mod and released it is their issue, and the fact that (as the sole owner of the mod) he has directly profited off it through content creation is the reason their "attacks" have targeted that side of his platform. From there, they've seen the other mods he's similarly promoted and attacked them as well.
In essence, his decision to attempt to further enhance the game he's most known for has now ruined it for everyone, an (obviously unintentional) selfish choice.
@Il_Nintenditore Leaving a comment for the sole reason of complaining that a shooter whose main gimmick is being an online multiplayer game, doesn't have an offline mode (beyond a story mode) is weird, tbh.
@Grumblevolcano why would Nintendo waste all the money spent on logistics, shipping and customs, as well as packaging and printing of labels, to send a digital copy? The file size listed under the subtotal is present on confirmed physical deliveries, it’s just a template. No need for fearmongering over nothing.
@Alundra-1998 and will probably be waiting for a very long time. Physical Bayo 2 already exists, this physical edition was purely for fans who wanted a physical of Bayo 1 (which was digital-only until now, which was included in Bayonetta 2). No chance they're going to (re)rerelease Bayo 2 as physical-only at this point, the bundle has been off-print for a long time as is.
@Ashfan2020 the issue isn't that point, it's the fact K&K are passing off this opinion as fact from Nintendo, something they've already been called out before for fabricating (Nintendo's stance on nuzlockes in Pokémon, reasons for leaving EVO). This article does the exact same thing, establishing a very clear rumour as "fact" because they claim their source is Nintendo, when they themselves have admitted their access to internal information is limited (as was the case with the Pokémon "nuzlocke is bad" claim)
Ki and Krysta have been proven multiple times to be factually wrong with regard to “insider” comments, why are ye still taking their words at face value?

Pulbisher notes have been updated to remove Nintendo as a copyright-holder, as well as solely name Square Enix as the publisher

Usually, for joint efforts, Nintendo have been given publishing credits in the notes, as is the case with Super Mario RPG
