I love story driven games, JRPGs and Visual Novels are my favourite genres. But let's be honest and turn off fanboyism, story isn't Zelda games' strongest suit, to put it mildly. So no, I don't play Zelda for the story, it would only lead to disappointment.
I finally watched it yesterday and sadly can't say that I enjoyed it. Now I didn't expect Casablanca, of course, but I wanted it to be on par with the first movie. But it was worse. Way to many chase and fight scenes, every reference screamed: THIS IS A REFERENCE, SEE?! and Fox inclusion looked like something that should've been blocked by adblock. I watched first movie three times, yet I can't see myself ever rewatching second.
Greetings, good people. This weekend I'll be playing ping-pong! Oh wait, we're talking about video games. Actually right now I'm on my way to pick up Switch 2 version of Bravely Default, I specifically ordered Asian version with English localisation without censorship, so that's what I'll be playing today. And earlier this week I tried Disaster Report 4 on PS5 before it left PS plus. Guys... I swear, 3/10 review on Pushsquare doesn't do it justice. The game is so f-ked up on every level, you have to try it yourself to believe it. I could write an essay on how utterly ridiculous every aspect is, but you better experience it yourself. Trust me bro™. That's it for today, love each other and have a great weekend.
Greetings, good people. The weather in Moscow took an unexpected turn for good, so this weekend I won't stay at home and play, good weather usually doesn't last here. In the beginning of the week my kitty finally got better, so I could properly focus on RE Requiem, now on my third playthrough on Insane and gathering missed collectibles. Also finished Octopath Traveller and started the sequel. Lovely games. That's all for now, love each other and have a great weekend.
@Samalik Wii U version of Maiden of Black Water was censored like there is no tomorrow, to the point that one very important scene was butchered so bad it eas impossible to understand what happened without reading on it online. No idea if it was fixed in Switch version. Needless to say, I'm in no rush to buy remaster.
Greetings, good people. Congratulations, we almost made it through the winter. (Looks at the piles of snow higher than my window outside) Almost...
Now onto the games, I'm sure many of you enjoy new Resident Evil while I wait for my physical copy. But even if I got it yesterday, I would still be playing WitchSpring R until I finish it. I mean, I heard it's good, but words won't do it justice. The game introduces you to the most charming, innocent, best daughter in the whole world... and then makes her life miserable very step of the way. Seriously, if in the end Pieberry won't find happiness, I swear I'll <redacted>. Ok, deep breaths...
And I also got true ending in MIO: Memories in Orbit. Very engaging, charming and beautiful metroidvania. Yeah, it's no Silksong. But what is? What's more surprising, that according to the achievements, only 3% of the players finished the game and 2% got the second ending. What is wrong with you people?!
Alright, that's all for today. Love each other and have a great weekend.
I absolutely adored Village (on PS5). Reviewer said it took inspiration from RE4, but I disagree, 8 felt like "Greatest Hits" compilation. Castle is RE4, manor is RE7, swamp is RE5, factory is RE2. The only downside for me was fort and Chris segment, the felt more like Call of Duty, where you just walk in straight line and shoot hundreds of Village People ™. Still a great game and I wholeheartedly recommend it on any platform.
This weekend is extremely cold here, so instead of usual going out to ice skating, ping-pong or such, I'm staying indoors, cleaning the house and playing games. And boy, I really stretched myself thin, despite usually avoiding doing so. Wuchang: Fallen Feathers on PS5, Trails beyond the Horizon and MIO on Steam Deck, Octopath Traveler and Super Mario Galaxy on Switch. I really should commit and finish something this weekend, and it will probably be MIO, very beautiful metroidvania with emphasis on platforming, highly recommend.
That's all for now, love each other and have a great weekend.
Honestly, I don't give a fork about what fans, haters, journalists or youtubers think. I found the game bad. Not average, not just good enough, simply bad.
I'm playing Super Mario Galaxy on Switch 2 right now, and I'm gonna confess that the trailer for SMG Movie makes me sad. Rosalina is kind and gentle mama, and they are making Captain Marvel out of her in the movie.
@Kiz3000 I mean it only works if you live on Nintendo diet. Yakuza 0 is ten years old already, I'd wager if you wanted to play it, high chance you already did. Two sole exclusives are paid tutorial and a game that's a killer only in a sense it's so bad it kills me.

Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Playing Final Fantasy XIV Online On Switch 2?
I used to love FF14, but friendship ended, sadly. Dawntrail dropped the ball so hard it broke through the floor.
Re: It Sounds Like Peach's Mario Galaxy Movie Backstory Will Be Canon In Future Games
Miyamoto can hope for what he won't. I hope that Miyamoto won't be involved in any video game story ever again.
Re: Sunsoft's Upcoming Switch Game Has One Of The Most Ridiculous Titles Ever
Super Robot Taisen Original Generation Saga Endless Frontier Exceed (good game by the way).
Re: Unsurprisingly, The Mario Galaxy Movie Is Already 2026's Biggest Box Office Hit

Re: Video: Mortal Kombat II's New Movie Trailer Features A Very Special Kameo
Sorry, but previous movie sucked balls. The worst thing you can do with MK movie is to make it safe and family friendly, and they did just that.
Re: Talking Point: Which Zelda Game Would You Most Like To See Remade?
Very unpopular opinion, but I want a new game. Nonsense, I know.

Re: Review: Super Meat Boy 3D (Switch 2) - Not The Finest Cut, But Still Tasty
The thing that bugs me the most is the lack of option to reassign controls. Hope it will be added in the future.
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give The Super Mario Galaxy Movie?
Here it will arrive in theatres only on April 11st/10.
Re: Miyamoto Expected "Significant Resistance Internally" To Fox In The Mario Galaxy Movie
They should have resisted harder.

Re: PSA: Switch 2's "GameChat Welcome Offer" Ends This Month, Try It Out For Free While You Still Can
Never once used it and never will. So far only used it for couch co-op with actual friends. And for online discord exists.
Re: Community: Which Switch 1 Games Benefit Most From Switch 2's New Boost Mode?
Looking forward to trying Bayonetta 3 now after I finish Octopath Traveller.

What the hell happened to the world?
Re: Talking Point: Are You Tired Of The Talking Flower Yet?
Yet? I turned the voices off in Wonder before even starting the game.

Berseria is one of my favourite Tales entries, but I'm perfectly fine with my PS4 version.

Re: Resident Evil Requiem 'Creator's Voice' Video Dives Into The Switch 2 Release
Playing horror and not wanting to be scared is like buying a rhythm game and playing on mute, or skipping all dialogues in visual novel.

Re: Fans Are Asking Nintendo To Refund Xenoblade Chronicles X's Switch 2 Upgrade
Blind loyalty to corporation is amusing and scary at the same time.
Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Mario Tennis Fever
I will get it... Someday. I'm not bothered about lack of single player content in multiplayer sports game, but 70$ is just too much.
Re: Review: Carmageddon: Rogue Shift (Switch 2) - A Destructive, Roguelite Wreck Fest That Runs Out Of Road
Zombies instead of pedestrians? That's not Carmageddon, at all.
Re: Round Up: The Previews Are In For Super Mario Bros. Wonder - Switch 2 Edition + Meetup In Bellabel Park
It's clear that the target audience is a big happy family from commercials, not the people who frequent gaming websites.
Re: Hands On: Does Hollow Knight's Free Upgrade Make A Difference On Switch 2?
Third? Haha! Six playthroughs already across two systems, steel soul included.
Re: Talking Point: Nintendo Direct February Partner Predictions - What Do You Want To See?
Just something new and not a port of a game that is already available on other systems. Too much?
Re: Round Up: The Final Previews Are In For Mario Tennis Fever
I'll get once it gets cheaper and if there still be people online to play with.
Re: Preview: Pragmata Might Wind Up Being The Biggest Surprise Of 2026
No question if I'm getting it. The only question is whether to get it on PC, Switch 2 or PS5.

No, I don't have little kids.
Re: Random: Mario Wonder's New Box Art Might Be The Ugliest 'Switch 2 Edition' Cover Yet
The next step is printing terms and conditions on the cover.
Re: Anniversary: Resident Evil: Deadly Silence Is 20 Years Old Today - Were You A Fan?
I thought it sucked balls, and yet I'm one of 50 people who enjoyed Resident Evil on GBC.
Re: Review: MIO: Memories In Orbit (Switch 2) - An Accomplished, Visually Stunning, But Familiar Metroidvania
@LastFootnote I have lots of demand for good metroidvania cause I already 100%'d Silksong.
Re: Review: MIO: Memories In Orbit (Switch 2) - An Accomplished, Visually Stunning, But Familiar Metroidvania
Already have this game due to gamepass, look forward to playing tomorrow.

Re: Opinion: I'm Happy amiibo Survived The Console Jump, But These Unlocks Are Getting Silly
I hate the entire concept that amiibo unlocks ingame stuff. Figure should stay a figure, not physical mtx.
Re: Nintendo, Sony And Xbox Update "Safer Gaming" Principles
@Vyacheslav333 it's not funny, it's alarming and scary AF.
Re: Nintendo, Sony And Xbox Update "Safer Gaming" Principles
Translation: no uncensored Japanese games for you. You will play only what government approves and you will like it.

The OST isn't anything special, but certainly better than the writing. God it was horrible.

Re: Poll: So, Now The Dust Has Settled, How Did You Find Myles MacKenzie?
The game is a disaster. Myles is not the biggest problem, but problem nevertheless.
Re: Talking Point: Our 2026 Nintendo And Switch 2 Predictions
I'm playing Super Mario Galaxy on Switch 2 right now, and I'm gonna confess that the trailer for SMG Movie makes me sad. Rosalina is kind and gentle mama, and they are making Captain Marvel out of her in the movie.

Re: Talking Point: Does Switch 2 Have Nintendo's Best Launch Line-Up Ever?
@HenrikW GBA and Gamecube for me. Though I played many of those later down the line, the games themselves are superb.
