Prime 4 is one of the games I initially bought original Switch 4. But after all the trailers and reviews I went and ordered Japanese copy of Super Mario Galaxy 1+2 for 50$. Maybe I'll get Prime 4 someday when it'll cost 30$ and my backlog will be smaller. Maybe I won't.
So expect even more escort missions and chatting than was in the preview. Between that and motorcycle... Oh man, I unironically bought first Switch for Prime 4, and now I'm not sure if I want to ever buy it.
I like both action games and Zelda games, but musou is something I can't stand regardless the wrap it's wearing. I bought first Hyrule Warriors, but solely because of the scarf as a birthday present for my friend. AoI doesn't give me the same reason.
Sorry, but everything about bike and empty open areas looks awful in Metroid. I still have hope for Prime 4, but every trailer so far looked kinda sad.
I'm still plowing through Ghost of Yogurt, and it's much longer than I anticipated. Either I'm extremely slow, or howlongtobeat lied to me, I'm only in the third region and the timer already shows almost 40 hours. In the beginning I really enjoyed the gameplay loop, but now I just want to be done with it and return to Ninja Gaiden 4.
Other than that, I'm having a wonderful time with Once Upon a Katamari, it's a delightful little game. It might be the best entry in the series, it has everything that I love about Katamari: songs, humour, variety - abundance of all. Play it if you ever liked Katamari.
While I'm certainly not a pokemon fan and discovered the series pretty late, I enjoyed ZA way more than TotK. Latest Zelda game feels just too diluted to me.
After being disappointed by Yumia, which is not a bad game, but Atelier in a name only, this game has everything what I love about the series. Playing it on Steam Deck and having a wonderful time.
Like many of you, I too play Switch 2 version of acclaimed Nintendo 3D platformer: Kirby and the Forgotten Land+ Star-Crossed World, obviously. (no, I didn't type it manually)

Re: The Game Awards 2025: Time, Date & How To Watch
Yeah no. I hate dorito pope and his professional jury, I'm not staying up night for that. I'll just read about announcements afterwards.
Re: Rolling Stone's GOTY List Shows A Whole Lot Of Love For One Nintendo Mascot
@Kilroy I'd take vanilla MK8 over World any day.
Re: Rolling Stone's GOTY List Shows A Whole Lot Of Love For One Nintendo Mascot
I absolutely loved Clair Obscur, it's my second GOTY after Silksong.
Oh, and "Officer I swear she said she was 18" > MK World.
Re: Poll: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Is Out On Switch 2 And Switch This Week, Will You Be Getting It?

Re: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond - Meet The Team
More than a decade to make a game and we get Sergeant Duke.
Re: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Difficulty Settings Revealed By Nintendo
Nintendo: we think you suck, so we won't let you select hard mode without beating the game once, we have to protect your ego.
Re: Digital Foundry Dives Into Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition's "Big Downgrades" On Switch 2
Getting mad at digital foundry for performance analysis is like screaming at the bar for serving beer
Re: 'The Duskbloods' Could Be FromSoftware's Most Ambitious Game Yet, According To Leak
I enjoy souls games, but please, the name of the developer isn't enough to sell me the game in the genre I don't like.
Re: Review: R-Type Delta: HD Boosted (Switch) - The Best R-Type? Possibly, And It's Never Looked Better
Finally a developer has some (force) balls to name kid difficulty for what it is.
Re: Poll: What Do You Make Of Link And Zelda's Live-Action Looks?
They could have found the most talented and beautiful actors in the world, I still think that Zelda movie should have been an animation.
Re: Feature: How Mega Starmie Became The Internet's New Queer Icon
I'm just sad that everyone forgot Bowsette already.
Re: Poll: Have You Had Issues With The Ethernet Port On Switch 2's Dock?
I don't actually know if it works, my Switch dock is basically a charger, I play only in handheld mode.
Re: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Finally Gets The Trailer We've Been Waiting For
So expect even more escort missions and chatting than was in the preview. Between that and motorcycle... Oh man, I unironically bought first Switch for Prime 4, and now I'm not sure if I want to ever buy it.
Re: Preview: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Is Great, But I Want To Kill One Of Its Characters
I knew that Nintendo defence force is passionate, but defending Jar Jar Binks is really too much.
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Imprisonment
I like both action games and Zelda games, but musou is something I can't stand regardless the wrap it's wearing. I bought first Hyrule Warriors, but solely because of the scarf as a birthday present for my friend. AoI doesn't give me the same reason.
Re: Feature: Now Samus Is Doing It - What Is It About The 'Akira Slide' That's So Great?
Sorry, but everything about bike and empty open areas looks awful in Metroid. I still have hope for Prime 4, but every trailer so far looked kinda sad.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (6th November)
Greetings, good people.

That's all for now, have a great weekend.

Re: Bandai Namco Is Looking To Revamp 'Shadow Labyrinth' In An Upcoming Update
Damn, I still haven't finished it. I need to turn off auto updates.
Re: Pokémon Legends: Z-A Scored US' Biggest Physical Game Launch Since TOTK
While I'm certainly not a pokemon fan and discovered the series pretty late, I enjoyed ZA way more than TotK. Latest Zelda game feels just too diluted to me.
Re: Takaya Imamura's Comment On Super Mario Odyssey's 8th Anniversary Makes Us Feel Very Old
It's just crazy that while developers have more resources and manpower than ever, new games take a decade to release.
Re: Metroid Prime 1-3: A Visual Retrospective Digital Sample Available For Free
The first part of the headline definitely gave me false hope.
Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Pokémon Legends: Z-A
The consensus is better than I expected. Pretty much everyone enjoyed new battle system and bashed shameless penny-pitching.
Re: Review: Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & The White Guardian (Switch) - Moving Forward By Looking Back
After being disappointed by Yumia, which is not a bad game, but Atelier in a name only, this game has everything what I love about the series. Playing it on Steam Deck and having a wonderful time.
Re: It's Official, Minecraft Is Getting A Second Live-Action Movie
I'm about thirty years older than average minecraft enjoyer.
Re: Random: The Super Mario Galaxy Games Are Full Of Secrets, And This One Is "Horribly Inefficient"
Heartwarming? More like narcissism if you ask me.
Re: Nintendo Updates Animated Short Film 'Close To You' With Some Familiar Faces
Alarmo 2. That'll be 70$.
Re: Opinion: Sonic Racing Crossworlds > Mario Kart World, And It's Not Even Close For Me
I love Mario Kart, but absolutely despise World. I'd choose Garfield Kart or Bloodborne Kart over World.
Re: Poll: So, Did You Get Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 For Switch?
Way way too expensive for pretty basic ports. I'll look for physical edition somewhere around new year holidays.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (4th October)
Like many of you, I too play Switch 2 version of acclaimed Nintendo 3D platformer: Kirby and the Forgotten Land+ Star-Crossed World, obviously. (no, I didn't type it manually)
Re: Japanese Charts: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Can't Compete With Mario Kart World
That's bad news, MK World desperately needs a kick in the balls.
Re: Digital Foundry Breaks Down Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 On Switch 1 & 2
Looks pretty and I will get it some point, but since I play everything in handheld mode, I'm already dreading Yoshi levels in SMG2.
Re: Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 Day One Update Out Now, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
Why is Nintendo the most anal company when it comes to patch notes?
Re: Poll: Will You Play Resident Evil Requiem In First-Person Or Third-Person?
I enjoyed 7 and Village way more than I expected, so I'll be going first person, at least for the first playthough.
Re: Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury Updated To Version 1.2.2, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
If those are full patch notes, I don't want to think about what partial are.
Re: Nintendo Switch 2 System Update 20.5.0 Is Now Live, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
Guys, it's still not stable enough! Mine keeps falling when I try to put it vertically.
Re: Opinion: Why Focus On Silksong's Difficulty When We Need To Talk About How Cute It is?
I beamed ear to ear when Bell Beast showed me her babies.
Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Checking Out Switch Online's Virtual Boy Service?
I already played virtual boy, it was akin to torture.
Re: Team Cherry Explains Hollow Knight: Silksong's "Steep Difficulty"
If the talking point about Silksong is difficulty, it says more about the audience than about a game.
Re: The First Review For Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & The White Guardian Is In
I really hope it keeps the spirit of classic Atelier games: no saving the world from big bad. Just love, friendship and frilly dresses.
Re: Opinion: Metroid Prime 4 Reminds Me Of Gears 5, And It's Making Me Nervous
@Knightmare2232 Retro didn't deliver anything for the last 11 years.
Re: Raidou Remastered Updated On Switch And Switch 2, Here Are The Patch Notes
@ShonenJump121 really hope so. Soulless Army is good, but King Abaddon is so much better.
Re: Another Silksong Patch Is On The Way, But Don't Expect More Difficulty Tweaks
I still don't install previous patch until I get all endings.
Re: Opinion: Metroid Prime 4 Reminds Me Of Gears 5, And It's Making Me Nervous
Empty open spaces are never good. Never. It's just a pointless padding to make going from point A to point B longer than it needs to.
Re: Nintendo Releasing Physical 'Talking Flower' From Mario Wonder Next Spring
I would pay for not having this.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (13th September)
(inhales) Super Robot Taisen Original Generation Saga: Endless Frontier Exceed.
Beat the first one ages ago, now finally got around to play the sequel. It only got fan translation, but it's really good.
Re: Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection Finally Gets Switch 1 & 2 Release Date
Seeing Mortal Kombat without blood was certainly something.
Re: Round Up: Everything Announced For Super Mario's 40th Anniversary
Galaxy movie, at least ticket won't cost arm and leg.
Re: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Finally Gets A Release Date, Open World Confirmed
When will developers understand that adding big empty areas doesn't make a game better?
Re: Nintendo's Patent On 'Sub Characters' Could Have Some Dire Ramifications
Somebody should tell Nintendo that SMT had this mechanic even before pokemon.
