Super Mario World is easily my favorite 2D Mario. Maybe even my favorite game of all time!

Super Mario Bros. 3 is a VERY close second though.

16 out of 20 here. I seriously thought that was the control pad for a Wii Remote, not the Wii U GamePad. And how was I supposed to know what that thing was in question 19?

I have a nostalgic soft spot for the indigo GameCube so I voted for that. Me and my brother got that for Christmas back in 2001, after all - we played it a ton!

That's a really cool-looking train. Would love to climb aboard one day.

I still want to give Sonic Pocket Adventure a shot. Would love for it to get a rerelease of some kind.

I'll likely head back to Animal Crossing: New Horizons this weekend. Oh, and tomorrow is my birthday! So I'll likely play some Mario games with my family to celebrate. Was thinking of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Maker 2, or one of the Mario Party games. Maybe some Nintendo Land, as well.

@PBNightmare I was recently thinking of getting OR/AS from the eShop soon. Heard great things about HG/SS, but sadly they're like $100 at least. So OR/AS it is, lol

I picked Team Star, since I've always liked stars. Not just the ones that make you invincible, but the Power Stars you collect in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy, as well.

Went ahead and got the Captain Toad DLC bundle from the sale!

Looks cool, but I kinda wish they went for the Mario red color they had for the SMO bundle, instead of neon red. I have the Mario red joy-cons, as well.

Yeah, the US/Japan one. No contest. It conveys the open-world nature of BotW much better than the European one.

More Animal Crossing of course. I'm also currently playing Ocarina of Time (3DS). I got Persona 4 Golden from Steam not too long ago so I'll be playing that too! I'm liking P4G so far.

I'm happy to see that New Horizons got the Nintendo GotY. Love this game and it's definitely my favorite game of 2020.

Oh sweet, the Torna expansion's on sale now. I still haven't beaten XC2 yet, but I still put a ton of time into it. I might have to get it soon.

@Yanina That would be super rad. This is the perfect opportunity to add multiplayer to the first F-Zero.

Probably my favorite console of all time, but the Switch is right up there too. I have a ton of nostalgia for the SNES and it has some of the best games ever made. But like a lot of people, I SO prefer the Super Famicom design. The NA design is pretty bland in comparison, honestly.

Can't believe it's been 30 years since it came out in Japan. I feel old...lol

It's not for me. I didn't like the first Hyrule Warriors that much and the demo didn't impress me either. They're a little too button mashy for me.

Nothing against time travellers, but I'm glad that Nintendo did this, honestly. No more holiday spoilers!

I still have my Wii U hooked up. Haven't been playing it that much though, since I have a Switch. I'm still keeping mine since I have a ton of downloadable games on it, including VC games. It's basically a retro game machine at this point, lol. I sometimes play Xenoblade Chronicles X on it, too. Some Wii U games still remain on my backlog too, like DKC: Tropical Freeze and Bayonetta. (My copy of Bayonetta 2 came with the first one too, which is cool.)

I have the deluxe set that came with Nintendo Land, I got that as a Christmas present. Super Mario 3D World is still one of my favorite Mario games, that was a great time when first playing it! I also remember getting Mario Kart 8 in the mail the day before its release date - that felt really, really good.

The two holidays are really nice, but I'm most excited for the expanded storage and the random dreams. This game just keeps on giving.

Hopefully there will be an update that expands our house even further, as well as adding extra buildings.

Wow! I didn't think Nintendo would do this, so this is super cool to see. I've been giving this new update for a spin and the GameCube controls are 100% spot on - even down to the analog L and R buttons! That is awesome.

Recently I've been coming back to my 3DS. There's a lot of games I have for it that I haven't finished yet! (Such as Fantasy Life - REALLY should play it more often.) I've been replaying A Link Between Worlds and I still love it.

I have a New 3DS XL - I love it and it's all red (my favorite color) but I don't care for how glossy it is. Kinda wish I got a regular-sized New 3DS, but it is what it is, lol. Definitely a system well worth keeping, even if I have a Switch.

More AC:NH. Yeah, I like that game a lot.

I first played Tetris Attack way back when I got it for the SNES. (Don't remember when, it's been too long, lol) I loved it back then and I love it today - it's easily my favorite puzzle game. Really glad that Panel de Pon came out on NSO's SNES catalog. And yes, I'd LOVE a Panel de Pon battle royale too!

Glad to hear that they're adding such an option. Granted I've finished all 3 games, lol. But I'm happy nonetheless!

I got SMO the day it came out and I loved it! I went ahead and 100%'d it last year, as well. Perhaps I'll revisit it at one point.

Hopefully we'll get a sequel soon, I'd be down for that. A truly excellent game.

I dunno if I agree with Epic Yarn being the best Kirby game (my pick would be Super Star Ultra), but I still love it. It's one of the most charming platformers I've ever played - I highly recommend it to anyone.

@Toads-Friend Yeah, I totally agree with you. I'm a massive fan of Mario as well but I don't see myself getting MKL. Looks more like a toy than a full-fledged Mario Kart game to me and it's mega expensive. So I'll wait for the next mainline Mario Kart game instead. lol

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the NA open tournament, as well as more Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Super Mario Bros. 35. Will be playing Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair too, since I just got that game on sale a couple days ago. Maybe some Super Mario Galaxy 2, as well.

As of now I've won 13 times - all that time of me playing Mario games have been paying off
