Europe's My Nintendo store is continuing its recent trend of giving away physical exclusives by offering up a cute little 2021 calendar featuring fan-favourite characters.
There are 13 calendar sheets in total, and they come with a little stand to display them on your desk. All sheets measure 13.4 x 13.4cm and have space on the back for you to write down any important notes for the day.
You can grab the calendar for yourself here by using just 300 of your Platinum Points. Shipping prices can be found below.
To Germany - 3.99 EUR / 3.55 GBP / 4.45 CHF
To other countries* - 6.99 EUR / 6.25 GBP / 7.80 CHF
* Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, Slovenia, Slovakia, UK
Platinum Points can be earned on the My Nintendo website without spending a single penny, so this is another decent gift for fans – especially if you happen to live in Germany and can benefit from that cheaper shipping charge.

Much easier to order than the Animal Crossing Bag. Still not completely easy. Why does it want to send my package to the street name and then the number? Is this a German style?
It would be better for me if it was a full wall calendar but this is still pretty cool, I might get one.
Got it! This is probably the nicest looking physical reward so far 😁👍
@TryToBeHopeful yeah a lot easier yeah this is german and swiss style of address. looks cool
£6 shipping but that is probs a fairish price for it so "purchased"
Loads of plat points lieing around so this is a decent option - will brighten up my work from home office desk until I can go back to proper office!
And for any US-based folk, there were a couple physical items added, including a Zelda notepad and a Mario Christmas Ornament. Didnt see any articles on them, but I was able to grab them myself.
The calendar looks very artistic.
But, i have my own calendars 2021.
It will be two different calendars with different themes and interface design.
Might pick one up and flip it on Facebook Marketplace, the pikmin coasters are already selling for £20+
I like it. It’s cool
Gimme those damn Mario pins!
This reminds me very much of the desk calendars that the old Club Nintendo used to offer as lower tier year-end rewards. I'm glad to see them making a somewhat comeback!
12 months and you only feature like 4 IPs?Nintendo...
Shipping cost = 6.99 euro
Calendar price = 1.99 euro
Really Nintendo?
Nice, it costs a little to get sent, but meant that I could get the switch NES controllers for half price without such a hefty shipping cost, psychologically anyway.
If it was a wall calendar, I'd buy it straight away. Not the biggest fan of desk calendars.
I need to figure out how to get platinum points :/
The UK version of the store is almost non-existent compared to other countries, with no proper storefront making it impossible to browse (attempting to navigate to the main page just leads to the NES controllers page).
If I could browse for other items to order so that I could combine the postage I would be far more likely to take advantage of some of these offers.
Just got the pikmin coasters and splatoon keyrings and have now paid postage 3 times today!
It's annoying as it was offering me cheaper postage if I grouped two rewards together, but you can only put one redemption code in at a time...
@Pikman Mario Run, Animal Crossing Pocket Camp, Fire Emblem Heroes, and some misc Nintendo admin tasks.
@Desrever Thanks for the US info, I'll go check. Though I'm all out of points after getting both the Dodo bag and little red rubber earbud pouch that I paid $5 shipping + tax for each.
If you don't mind sharing any suggestions for getting more points? I used to play the mobile apps but got bored. Oh, I did find all the Pikmin on the P3D site. Too bad the new Pokemon Winter Wonderland site doesn't offer them, been wasting a bit of time on there.
@HeyItsFlapjack "the desk calendars that the old Club Nintendo"
I got one from 2010. I'm using it this year again b/c the days/dates matchup.
Even though I'm using this 1 I will order that one if it comes to the US and I can scrape up 300 plat points.
As a freebie it's quite nice, but £6.25 shipping for a few sheets of paper is just ridiculous.
@chardir how about calling it £3+£3.25?
@TryToBeHopeful But it's supposed to be a "reward". The reward is that you can buy something for a normal price?
Also you can now buy Nintendo Switch / Nintendo Switch Lite systems directly from Nintendo in mainland Europe. (at least here in the Netherlands)
@rjejr Honestly, the best advice I've got is to log in weekly, and fill out surveys for games you downloaded. (Though, they tend to send these out more for newer titles, rather than those that have been out for years, picked up on sale)
And if you can be bothered to dig out your 3DS/Wii U, you can also get weekly points for logging into the eShop.
I was very diligent at collecting points for a while, but lost interest after nothing noteworthy was offered for months. I'm trying to get back on the saddle and horde up again.
@Desrever Thanks for the advice. My problem is Nintendo being Nintendo with all of this stuff. Like why doesn't Mario Kart give plat points? And why is the Switch barely a part of My Nintendo?
I stopped caring as well, then they sprung these physical rewards on us after 3 years and even with the stupid $5 shipping and tax on that I'd still get that Mario ornament for 800. My tree has the Mario star topper and 8 other ornaments I picked up at Games top a couple of years back. I'd even buy those holiday cards for 300 if points were easier to come by. I've put 500 hours into ACNH, I don't need to play Pocket Camp.
Oh well.
The sheer amount of points that I have lost due to the fact that they expired at some point, makes me really not give a f..ck about mynintendo.
Looks cool, but judging by the dimensions they are rather small for my liking. And I'm in the US so I can't get it anyway. lol
Problem with those free things is you need a credit card to pay the shipping cost. No other payment method not even paypal.
I don't have a credit card...
@Jashin A debit card will work as well, not sure if you don't have that.
Welp I might be willing to let some scalper rip me off for this.
Got one but wow what a faff!
Log in to MyNintendo, go to the reward page, buy it with points, copy the code, find the link to the right store, log in again on the same account (?), apparently on mobile press ‘stop’ in the browser to stop the page refreshing infinitely, add to cart, go to cart, go to checkout, “due to technical reasons we deleted your address”... re enter address in a weird format (number after street name? Zip code not post code despite being UK website?), select address, select shipping, select payment, press buy, wait to be redirected, get return to the website with DK saying “your cart is empty”, check emails... ok it went through!
Nintendo, seriously, this needs significant streamlining!
Cool little reward though!
300 plus £6.25 postage. 😂
Completely useless in my own opinion especially with that atrocious 7€ shipping. Much better the Super Mario 3D All-Stars posters and Pikmin 3 Deluxe coasters.
anybody know where these are printed / made? Trying to avoid China made items as much as possible.
