This is why the Switch will do better than the Wii U-- it supports Unreal and Unity and has already roped in JRPG devs that were the lifeblood of the 3DS. How much better remains to be seen, but it has a lot more going for it right off the bat.

Anyways, I'm actually glad it isn't purely 8-bit; the spritework looks a lot more SNES/GBA level, especially in the on-foot sections.

And heh, Gunvolt DLC. Is it wrong that I kinda want him re-designed as a ninja and as a bonus boss in Bloodstained? They already gave Miriam Voltaic Chains; that could be how you obtain it.

@BionicDodo Though there almost certainly are a few regular viewers, a lot of them probably didn't watch every single stream. And even then, there's such a thing as having it running in the background while you do something else.

@Superzone13 Lyn wasn't the face of Blazing Blade-- Eliwood is front and center on the cover and has more overall relevance in game, with Hector coming in second.
Heck, removing Lyn wouldn't change the game itself too much. She's a stock strong girl with a hot bod; that's why she's number 1.

Tellius got screwed because of votesplitting; most damningly, Nephenee would've been number 10 for the females instead of Nowi.

Anyways, the Male Top 10 is pretty fine overall while the Female Top 10 is pretty disheartening.

I never got why people would buy anything from Gamestop outside of maybe the occasional sale deal.

@GravyThief The Switch version is only .4 gigabytes larger; I think the only difference is that it runs a bit smoother and has slightly better shading on the Switch.

@gatorboi352 The fact that it's grabbing up JRPGs that would've been on 3DS (which were basically the lifeblood of the system) makes me think that the Switch will leave the Wii U and Gamecube in the dust. Whether it competes with 3DS numbers remains to be seen.

The Switch will do similar to 3DS numbers-- no way is this the Wii again.

Now how many of them are simply ports?

You're kinda late. I specifically even mentioned in my post how I'm glad they're porting it to Xbox One for the localization.

And I'm here kinda disappointed that Valkyria Revolution isn't doing so hot.
The few unbiased (read: people judging it on it's own merits and not going in to whine about how it's not VC) impressions I read of the demo seemed to have it at about a 7/10.
Hopefully that keeps up and I have something for my Xbox this summer (yes, they're porting it for the Western release).

I like the English VAs and don't think the Japanese is perfect. Westaboo confirmed yadda yadda.

I just find it funny that there are those in Japan who like English VAs more than Japanese ones because they feel Japanese VAs overact everything-- an opinion that many echo over here.

@AlphaJaguar A lot of companies probably aren't going to do more than simple upscaling when docking.

Honestly, FE Warriors- a game built from the ground-up for the Switch -will probably look a fair bit better than how DQ Heroes does on it.

It's pretty common in the tech world that whenever something new is announced, shares will drop. This happens to basically everybody, including Apple (especially Apple).
Share values around announcements mean basically NOTHING.
