@Clyde_Radcliffe: I can't tell about if online lives or not in WMD. But what I can tell is that you can play online in private rooms. So if you have some friends... you'll get a good game for a no-brainer pricetag with a lot of online-fun with your friends (at least).

Since it seems Mario&Rabbids doesn't get a grid in combat it's moving more to a 3D Worms from all I've seen. Which... might be good but doesn't have to be - neccessarily. At first sight it's a big bummer to me tbh.
So Advance Wars is very welcome on my side. (@Nintendo: Now it's definitively time for a new FF Tactics after AW release!)
But: Does the Troops get some textures at some time? This plastic soldier look is hardly appealing. Take a look at Tiny Metal and do it like there.

Ehmmm... if the fights really have no grid then there is the possibility gameplay changes a lot. Would be a big bummer for me. The fights just worked sooo good. Too good to change them. I'm a little bit concerned now.

1st iteration is still one of the best games on Switch. Day 1 including season pass whatsoever. (quite competent couch-coop btw) Absolutely a no-brainer.

Reviews on YT are much better. But they're from... some random guys, so... hard to come to an decision. I'd love to love this game.

Does anyone knows this game? I'd like to know if there are only national teams and international cups or if there's a league modus where you can play - let's say - some kind of premier league?
I think I'd stick with the 1st iteration if there are only national teams.

I'm not interested in NES/SNES games at all. They could remove them all and it wouldn't make a difference to me.
As long as there are no GBA games I'm online member only for the reason of being able playing online.

So the next hype-train rolling for a game where the 1st part is bugged, not running well and has awful loading times. I don't get it.

November would be half a year and I don't think my actual Switch lasts that long. Bit afraid regarding this...

Maxed 3 characters in TL3 so far and... the endgame didn't do it for me. It's ok I think. If it's on a 50% sale you can't do much wrong.
But I still prefer TL2. Faster loading times (which are a pain in TL3) and the better multiplayer mode (e.g. exchanging weapons with each other possible - not so in TL3).
Also: The strict separation between Single- and Multiplayer-Chars are a big no-go/bummer for me (they can't even share storage!!!).
So don't expect a satisfying multiplayer experience in TL3. TL2 is the better game overall but you can (and most probably will) have fun in singleplayer with TL3.

I start liking them.

I don't agree to the article. Golden Age of gaming ended exactly at the moment where shooters began to get a story (a "real" one, not a three-liner at the start of the game).

I'm pretty much in the same boat and begging Switch Pro happens soon.
What I don't expect: JoyCon drift will be past then. If Nintendo learned something then it's they can sell broken hardware over years with no consequences.
So what I expect: I'll buy a Switch Pro day 1 for even more broken hardware.

@Pti_batteur I've tried Octopath and... didn't like the game engine. Seems like Project Triangle shares the same engine. It's a bit stupid, I know. Especially because I'm a game mechanic purist and don't care about graphics too much. Maybe I'll give it a try somedays.

This reminds me there's still no new FF Tactics on the horizon - not even the hope to get one...

Looks sooo good! Does anyone know if it's a full game experience or cluttered by ingame purchases. When I hear the word "cards" I'm always a bit sceptical... not that I don't like card games but they're almost ever money sinks.

They should better put their energy against "JoyCon Drift".

I don't want any cloud gaming on Switch so I'd be happy if Xbox Cloud doesn't happen.

Interesting for me to see that so many people want the HD Rumble. Rumble is the first thing I turn off in game preferences if there's an option to do it.
Price tag is much too high for this one. If you don't need rumble I can recommend 8BitDo controllers. D-Pad is fantastic and you get 2 for the price of one compared to this one.

I don't need GamePass because it's digital and when I hear the word "cloud" I break out in spots. So: No. Microsoft really has nothing to offer for me.

I stopped thinking about XCOM 2 when reading about long loading times and stuttering screens. Did they patch for good since launch?

"Wanna Survive" looks interesting even if I'm a bit over-saturated with pixel look games.

Looks great. But who needs a Metroidvania without a map? Too painful for me - might be my bad orientation.
As long there's no map - there's no buy. And if they patch one in some day I fear the game is out of sight out of mind...

Final Fantasy Tactics!

50 hours of fun would be absolutely ok. Also: Turn based tactics games are absolutely what I want.
Problem of this game is: It seems to use the same engine as Octopath. And I didn't like it there (didn't buy the game after playing the demo for two hours or so) and I didn't like it here...
But it's ok. As long as Banner of the Maid exists and Tiny Metal exists and Warhammer Mechanicus exists and Mutant Year Zero exists... there are really enough TBT games I'm fine with.

If there's no JoyCon-Drift it might be an alternative to Switch Light.

Oh, how I loved Pyra back in the days. But I want her full sized next to my darts board. Or both - one left one right.

Ehmmm... Nintendo did NOT say they have "no plans for new hardware in the near future" as stated in the article. They said they are "not planning to make an announcement anytime soon".

Problem is not the colors but the fact that Nintendo sells broken Hardware - and they just deny to fix it or stop it.
As much as I love Nintendo - this not only throws a bad light on a whole console generation but also damaged my love to Nintendo strongly.

I know I'm a bit alone with my opinion but I really, really don't like this 2D/3D mixed graphics like they did in Octopath and seem to do it again.
It's not the art style I don't like but the graphics engine behind it.
This said: Give me a pure 2D Final Fantasy Tactics!
(I know this will not happen but I can't stress this subject enough.)
Also: I'm not shure if I can trust Nintendo anymore releasing good turn based strategy. Fire Emblem Switch is a complete fail from my point of view.

The Lost Vikings on Switch is like a wet dream come true. It's just a bit overpriced in my opinion. Ehmmm... and 10 bucks for some cosmetics? C'mon!

But Crackle isn't possible in Germany (without using a VPN at least).

No Crackle for me so I hope Netflix will buy the license to stream sometime.

Both colors look cool on it's own. But together... They just don't fit together! They look too similar to be combined.

I can imagine there will never be a sequel to Mario&Rabbids. I was thinking about why there's no sequel already for some time now and there's only one thing I can explain it with:
UBI got the license for this one title only. If they had a license for a 2nd title it's my believe we would already have a 2nd Mario& Rabbids. Following this theory it would be up to Nintendo to move.

I wonder how many more Switch Lite consoles could have been sold if there was no JoyCon drift. For me - personally - the only reason why I don't have a 2nd console.

When I had to do class schedules I stopped playing Fire Emblem. Luckily with Banner of the Maid there's a Fire Emblem on Switch like it should be.
Waiting for a new Advanced Wars there came Tiny Metal out of nowhere. So pleased on this side.
I hoped Mercenaries could fill the gap FF Tactics left behind. But still no alternative for FFT on the horizon it seems. A bit of a bummer but it's ok with really many good games of the tactics-genre on switch.
