You may recall that earlier this month, a new five-part documentary series called Playing with Power: The Nintendo Story was announced. Launching through streaming service Crackle on March 1st for free, we've now got a first look trailer via IGN.

Starting from Nintendo's early origins in the 1800s, the trailer sets a rather critical tone towards Nintendo's history, and several former Nintendo of America staff are weighing in. That includes Reggie Fils-Aimé, NoA's co-founder Ron Judy, Howard "Gamemaster" Phillips and NOA's former VP for Marketing, Perrin Kaplan.

Further industry veterans have been interviewed too, so we can expect a wide range of opinions. Head of Xbox Phil Spencer is present, alongside Gears of War designer Cliff Bleszinski, Sega of America's former CEO Tom Kalinske and Atari's co-founder Nolan Bushnell.
