@Metalinkster Those comments point to the fact that people in general have varying degrees of wealth and disposable income, not really gamer specific. Like I might say the cost for a high end sports car is too steep, whereas a plastic surgeon or hot shot lawyer might think it a fair price. That doesn’t necessarily mean drivers are funny people.

Surprised to learn that they make Crocs in adult sizes. I’ve never seen anyone besides very young children wearing them.

I know I’m alone in this, but 2 was my favorite of the series. Still no desire to double dip as my 3DS is still charged up in my nightstand.

@Chocobo_Shepherd from what I remember the only thing that mattered as far as “morality” in the game was whether you used ink or thinner in the boss battles to trigger a different cut scene of the defeated bosses at the end of the game. I played it twice using ink the first time and thinner the next to see the different clips. Kinda cool to see but definitely not necessary

@Kienda yeah for me it’s probably 7 or 8, but watching my 3 daughters play and the joy on their faces it’s impossible not to give a 10

Princess Peach Showtime. When my kids aren’t hogging it

My kids came home from school with pizza, ice cream and Showtime waiting. We had an absolutely wonderful night and they can’t wait to play more tomorrow.

My 9, 7 and 5 year old daughters have been playing the demo nonstop. They are beyond excited for Friday to get here.

Never heard of this place, but it looks like there is one only 78 miles away. Fill up the gas tank, time for a road trip!

Playing the demo it felt a lot like a Luigi’s Mansion game, so I was leaning towards Next Level. Good Feel is interesting

I was at Universal Studios Hollywood yesterday and they have a ton of holiday decorations throughout the park but not a single festive thing in Super Nintendo World.

NA hands down. The overlay on Meta Knight is just too cool. The titles placement landing right on the tip of the sword on the Japanese version bugs me, whereas the NA version’s passing all the way through the title with the light reflection on the tip is more visually appealing

It means you sit quietly in the corner until people stop talking about you being replaced at which time you’ll be quietly let go.

@WaveBoy For me the new one was a mindless dumb kids movie, but as a Nintendo fan it at least had some cool Easter eggs, stuck to the source material and didn’t over stay it’s welcome. I thought the live action one was just a garbage film without a single redeemable quality. I saw both once, have zero desire to see either again, so I guess it doesn’t matter which one I thought was better. 😆

Red Dead Revolver was underwhelming even upon release. If we did get a PS2 era cowboy game remaster, Gun is the game I’d want.

Watermelon and summer being associated doesn’t need explanation. You can’t have a summer cookout without watermelon!

@Cashews It’s amazing! Just don’t go on busy weekends during the summer. We have season passes and my kids still love going even after 5 visits this year.

Why did Nintendolife have to use that terrible Canadian box. Ours down in the states didn’t have have that big dumb French sticker covering some of the characters, and was less busy with only one language used.

It looked fairly similar to the New games while watching the direct on my phone at work. When I got home and watched it on my 60 inch Samsung, it looked absolutely stunning. Let’s Go!

@Uncle_Franklin But there are several aspects of Kirby games that’s adults can find appealing. I refuse to believe that a higher difficulty or challenge is the only thing adults can find appealing about video games. You mentioned kids movies can appeal to adults through innuendo or cryptic humor, which is absolutely true. Yet those wink and a nod moments while appealing to adults, aren’t traditionally what you’ll find in movies made specifically for adults. So yes I can find joy in a Pixar movie without adult language, or adult concepts, much like I can the joy in a Kirby game without adult difficulty.

“This is a fantastic children’s game that you can enjoy with your kids and they won’t get overly frustrated by the difficulty, and since they won’t get frustrated I’m gonna have to lower the score.” It’s strange that animated kid’s movies don’t automatically get points deducted for gearing towards children, yet it always happens with video games geared towards younger children.

@Sgtkeebler I feel like Rabbids is more likely to go on sale sooner and steeper than Bayo 3 based on past entries. So personally I’m getting Bayo 3 now and waiting on sale for Rabbids.

@OwenOtter I understand that, but the math stands as I did specify “the number one answer”. If you look at the other polls on the site for Nintendo published games, you’ll see the “ no I’m not getting it” answer to be a lower percentage. Splatoon 3 18%, Metroid Dread 6%, Mario Party 15%. Even the last poll for a Platnium game Astral Chain was only 5% not getting it. (Though now my response is irrelevant as the “no I’m not getting it” isn’t the number one answer anymore lol)

Even on a Nintendo centric website the number one answer is “No, I’m not interested” and yet somehow this is a $450 million dollar franchise?

It’s not a musical, calm down. If it was a musical, they would’ve had music written for them, not an improvisational.
The Simpsons movie has a couple of scenes with characters singing for comical effect, that doesn’t make the movie a musical. The Mitchells vs Machines is an animated movie I’ve recently seen that has a musical scene for comical effect, that doesn’t make the movie a musical. I haven’t seen anything that would indicate that this is going to be Encanto in the Mushroom Kingdom.

Gear is the only logical choice

I have 3 kids and the 2 player split screen hasn’t been much of an issue. The matches are quick, and the game is entertaining to watch as a spectator. Loser passes the controller. I’m not saying we wouldn’t enjoy 4 player split screen, and it should be there, but it hasn’t been a dealbreaker.

My 5 and 7 year old have played the demo a dozen times. Day one purchase for sure.

@Pokester99 The fact that you don’t think a county that has ethnic internment camps where they commit acts of torture and genocide isn’t that bad, is rather disturbing.

I thought the gameplay was fun. I’ve never paid attention to storytelling in any video game. I’ll always skip cut scenes, or mash “next” my way through text dialogue. So I have no recollection of the story, or writing being bad here.
