@Magician It’s really not “jarring” at all. I spent years jumping between PS4 and 3DS games, and years prior to that jumping between PS3 and DS games and was not once jarred by the experience. After beating Sackboy: A great Adventure I decided to replay Mario Odyssey, and I survived the transition from PS5 to Switch just fine.
@JHDK NintendoWorldReport.com is a good one stop shop for some great podcasts. Radio Free Nintendo, Talk Nintendo, Connectivity are all good general weekly Nintendo podcasts. There are a couple of affiliated podcasts that have more of a focus. The Famicast focuses more on gaming in Japan, and The Thristy Mage focuses on RPGs on Nintendo consoles.
@Anti-Matter yeah I don’t think aggregate game scores should determine what games people buy, but if a game you did have an eye on is scoring well it helps inform your decision. Or if it’s game you didn’t know about, high scores may get you interested enough to watch some videos, or check out a demo of said game to see if it’s up your alley
@JHDK I don’t think it was rando game. The majority of Nintendo podcasts I listen to covered it extensively. Easily the best baseball game I’ve ever played.
Nintendo is a business period. If you like the company’s product and aren’t turned off by the company’s practices then buy their products, if not then don’t give them your money. Nintendo isn’t your friend, and couldn’t care less about your opinions as long as they are making a profit.
@Mchi5 the second one is really good, but the first is one of my all time favorite games. The story, characters, and fighting mechanics are much much better imo. Yeah the “jobs” you have to do are little dull but they don’t take up too much time. The 8 bit mini games in Desperate Struggle are very over hyped, they are super basic and not very fun
@TheAwesomeBowser I’m not a fan of Sonic games or any of the characters, but I did enjoy the movie some. Also my children loved it, and they never played or heard of Sonic prior to seeing the movie. I also thought Detective Pickachu was decent film
@hoopderscotch seems like an unfair comparison, since the ninth quarter will show 3 holiday seasons for PS4 while only 2 for the Switch. The next fair comparison mark will be after 12 quarters, to show not only an equal amount of time, but the same amount of holiday seasons.
If any analyst says the Switch sold poorly in its first 8 quarters, that same analyst would have to say the PS4 was a disaster in its first 8 quarters... No analyst did or would make that claim.

Re: Nintendo Reveals New Zelda & Loftwing amiibo For Skyward Sword HD
The non-motion control option is locked behind the Link/crimson Loftwing amiibo.
Re: Review: Plants Vs. Zombies: Battle For Neighborville Complete Edition - Dig For Victory
@Dexyju I don’t have the game but I was under the impression that there was no local multiplayer, just online.

Re: Soapbox: 10 Years On, We Need More Brave, Worthwhile Experiments Like Epic Mickey
Still absolutely love the first one, and have replayed it several times. Not a huge fan of the sequel, the AI for the co/op did not work well
Re: Review: No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle - A Confident Sequel And One Of Grasshopper's Best
Great game, though I still enjoyed the first one more.
Re: Random: Animal Crossing Characters Rocked Up To An NFL Stadium Last Week
Nice to see the Animal Crossing characters enjoy real football and not that soccer stuff.

Re: Indie Developer Shares "Bad News" About Publishing On Switch, After Pitching His Game To Nintendo
Doesn’t want to put his game on steam because it is overcrowded.
Is waiting for Nintendo to “open the floodgates”.
Lol
Re: Nintendo, Sony And Microsoft All Under Investigation Over Online Gaming Services
Nintendo does not please the crown.

I usually agree with Neal’s reviews at NWR. I’ll probably give this a go
Re: Review: Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes - A Stylish Return For The Otaku Hitman
