I usually am on board with damning things because of the price, but come on - a special edition controller costing 10 bucks more than the regular one seems...normal. They couldn't sell it for less than the ordinary black one, could they?

@Nintendolife, I just absolutely love the feature "Your Local Time" you've implemented for a while now. Even though by now I finally remembered what timezone I'm in, it's still so nice!

I experienced the disconnects as well, not even 3m away from the console. Since I'm using the original HDMI and power cables I don't see how that could have any effect.

My main issue with digital codes in a box was always that they couldn’t be resold or lent to friends. I’m glad this somewhat fixes that problem — but then again, most games that use game key cards nowadays wouldn’t have been the typical “code in a box” titles anyway. Plus, it sucks that storage will now fill up much faster.

I like the Wario one, the Captain Toad one is nice and cheap, and Blathers museum looks also good. However the free floating elements just don't do it for me, I'd rather have everything tied together in one solid set. Although I understand they are perfect for playing.

I was able to preorder without any hassle or stress at a big german online retailer yesterday. Of course I'm wondering if they even know how many consoles they're gonna get or if they're just gambling.
I am prepared for a "your delivey will be delayed" mesage along the road, but since I didn't qualify for the 2 years as head of NSO family anyway, I'm glad i did something.

That hurts the most for me. I can wait for game sales, or sell them after playing. But storage is a must, and the express cards are still so new that there is not much diversity on the market yet.
The 256GB don't do much, as I'm expecting games to be a bit bigger than the Switch 1 versions.

While the eshop ist definitely slow, it never bothered me, because I don't browse digital stores. I search for games I actually want, not those that are presented to me. And to broaden my horizon I got news sites like nintendolife. Furthermore, how are people still not exclusively using dekudeals.com is beyond me.

£5,531 is really low, isn't it? That's like just a few months pay in a lot of european countries. Looks exciting though, so I'm curious what the dev can do with that money.

I fully expected Wind Waker, but this was a much more pleasant surprise. I mean, if you want you can always get a Wii U for dirt cheap and play Wind Waker HD on there, that's what I did this year anyway.

I really liked it. Was big on nostalgia, but it hit me in the right spot. Star Wars BF, Epic Mickey, World of Goo 2, Endless Ocean 3. Coupled with some Indies announcement like the Pepper Grinder release date and Ender Magnolias.

@Jalex_64 In the defense of the guy, he only stated that MS (or rather a couple of their execs) is always saying they WANT GP on other platforms like switch. And then they say the exact opposite a few days later.

@Glasso I don't mind the characters arrow-like dash, but I definitely agree on the floaty jetpack part.
