@NotTelevision Yes, and this game got a 6 out of ten. There's too many metroidvanias on the Switch alone that's better worth my attention.

There's a list on Steam called (Sweet Baby Inc detected) that compiles all games that had been helped by Sweet Baby Inc.

I only brought this up because an article similar to this one was blowing up to a convo also similar to this one.

@RareFan This is on SBI's detection list. I personally don't want to buy this game as there's over 9000 metroidvania's on the Switch alone competing for my attention and hard earned money and the said company in question. But if you and anyone else for that matter wanna buy this game and like how it looks/plays, hey I can't stop ya and not going to shame ya.

Ultimately, just like reading the ingredients label on a food product, this list is to show what's in it.

Also give attention to the english translation while you're optimizing the Switch, 505 games and Rabbat and Bear. A buncha lines are pretty modern day 2024 don't fit in this universe cringe.

A favorite of mine can admit to it flaws (like hard mode isn't as hard and not much worth the effort to A ranking the entire cast, special stage controls is a bit jank, and you're better off going to flight formation when you're somewhat on bottomless pit territory.) but still love it nonetheless.

It's not just classic stage looks and pacing, I say the entire music has that genesis feel good energy to tie it together, The Main menu DAWG! The banter each get their own variation depending on who and where the character is at on the stage; overly cheezy, charming. (the cheeze it's at its best here. The games afterwards try and fail to copy it.)

But hey, to each to each their own.

SONIC HEROOOOOES!

One of my favorite games of all time. The 12 playable characters with the team mechanics. The soft reboot to the classic games after the story heavy adventure games from the stages and atmosphere. The characters and their banter. The Metal Sonic design (pre-transformation.) And the final boss.

I AM GUSHING!

....Though I'm cautious on how they'll handle this...if it's even real.

Good to see City of the Wolves make it's return. The graphics is bold, the gameplay looks to be a mix of old Kof 94 and Guilty gear, and Rock along with the old guard has some new moves. Can't wait to have this out and hopefully on a Switch conso...

My main flaw for this game is that there's no additional backgrounds or music. And a minor one is to have the Baltoro and or bosses have some quips. It's a 9/10 for me.

I personally feel that a full Terabyte is good enough for big storage since I recently brought one and quickly filled my 512 but there's no shame to go even bigger.

It's great that they're adding modes in the base game and also add more stage layouts
Can you add more stage layouts to existing stages (like Loud Castle and Fire Nation meeting) and do something about Mr. Krabs coins, it's sending the Switch framerate in the dumps.

Too many old franchises left to rot on the Playstation front in chasing that Last of Us remaster, Spiderman, and live service (Helldivers is exempt) money. Use that leftover money for that plz.

I would add Spelunky to this list and maybe it's sequel. As a Toad who likes to track some treasure, this one is my jam.

What would an arcade objective based car game constitute jumping to a Triple A production? Not saying that you can't but need to catch an audience before you go all in on such a kinda niche IP.
