Uhm, no! The international dateline is in the Pacific Ocean, east of Japan, not west of Japan. December 8 20:00 JST (UTC+9) is December 8th everywhere in the world including two time zones in the far east across the international dateline that actually observe UTC+13 and UTC+14.

I wonder what happened to 90's Arcade Racer. Seemed similar to this game, but I never read anymore about it after 2015 or 2016.

Re: Review: Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus (Switch eShop)

I love Pac-Man, but all these different Pac-Man CE games confuse me because I don’t know which version is the best, so I have never bought any of them for any platform. If there exist a definitive edition, I’ll buy right away!

(Actually, this review might contain the information I desire, so I’ll read it later today or tomorrow.)

Re: Limbo Looks Set to Finally Arrive on the Wii U eShop

I love Limbo, which you can probably guess be looking at my profile picture. I own it on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

Too bad Limbo never released on Wii U. With Limbo’s sequel — Inside — set to release on Switch, wouldn’t it be a great occasion to introduce this gem of a game to players who only own Nintendo consoles?

Re: Reminder: Time To Purchase Wii Shop Points Is Running Out

The cards unfortunately only contain the 1.0 version. I don’t think a single first-party Switch game is at version 1.0 now.

On Wii U, I have one... just one... first-party game on disc that is in version 1.0 out of over 20 games! I don’t remember which right now, but think it might be Donkey King Country: Tropical Freeze.

Because of download-only games and game updates for disc/card games, closed storefronts cause games to disappear.

I loathe the trend and will no longer buy non-exclusive third-party games for Nintendo consoles. Steam has a good track record keeping 20-25 year-old games alive, so my money will be better spent there.
